Edit: After being told they'd address these issues, I wanted to come back and say this store has completely failed to care for animals. The condition of the fish and reptiles deteriorates by the day, and they haven't done much in years to help. I hope someday they improve the condition of their care, their shouldn't be more than 6 leopard geckos in a display tank, that's a lot, let alone 10+ which they consistently haveThis store consistently does not clean up their aquatics department, and it shows. They have been contacted *numerous* times before, with a BBB report being filed in 2022. They still did not fix it as can be seen by the pictures of rotting fish and fungal infections. However, the rodent area was very clean and the animals there were well taken care of.

Kate was the absolute best!! She was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. She helped me pick out the best tank, gravel, decorations, and plants! I left feeling so excited to decorate my tank and take my new betta home. I will definitely be coming back to this store when I want to add more decor to Remi’s tank.

We had a wonderful grooming experience with our nervous puppy! Shealeigh did a thorough, timely groom and made our anxious dog feel safe. She was so gentle and our sweet Wilma looks great.

All the staff we spoke to were kind, courteous, and eager to help. Dan, especially, was incredibly helpful, and I will most likely be returning for advice on the mice I'm caring for as well as the tarantulas I intend to keep in the near future. He was quick to answer the many questions we had and was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I have never been more impressed with customer service! Dan is an amazing contribution to your team and is one of the best I have encountered in the customer service industry. His knowledge and advice has been invaluable. I can’t say enough good things about this Petco! They care so much about their customers and pets! My little pup got spooked this morning going into the store, and bolted! ( literally we caught her 4/10 of a mile away- Yes! She’s home safe!) The staff members came out and were running to help me get her, as she bolted towards the main road! You guys are absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for caring about your customers! ( people and pets!) You guys rock in my book!!! Thank you!!!!

I had a disappointing experience with the grooming department at this location. I scheduled an appointment for 8/14 at 8:30am several weeks in advance and had multiple confirmation texts leading up to the appointment, including one at 7am the morning of the appointment. I arrived a few minutes early to the appointment and saw a sign stating the grooming area opened at 8am. I was surprised that the doors weren't open yet, but figured maybe only one person was working and they would meet me outside at the time of my appointment. Unfortunately I ended up waiting for 10 minutes after my scheduled start time and no one ever showed up. I didn't have time to wait around and ended up calling and leaving a message about canceling the appointment. I looped back by around 8:50 and there was still no one in sight. I did not receive any follow up call or explanation as to why this situation occurred. Very frustrating.

Great place to buy pet supplies but they have been having trouble with sick fish. We got our Pacman frog from them, and she is gorgeous. When we got her she was about the size of a quarter. Now my husband has to use 2 hands to hold her!!!! Lol

I came in to get fish and snake food... left with no fish and only got the mice because it's the only place near me that sells live. Absolutely horrendous. Dead fish in almost every tank. Dead fish on the floor. It may just be a fish but these are animals and if you can't care for them properly then you shouldn't be selling them. The Temps and humidity in almost every reptile enclosure is incorrect as well... I'm amazed that the animals aren't all sick. You need to do better as a store caring for and selling pets or you need to stop selling live and just sell supplies.

We went shopping today for a hamster for our granddaughter. We were assisted in our quest by an employee name Mckenna. She was absolutely delightful. She was very knowledgeable about all kinds of pets and their care and took the time to help us pick out just the right habitat stuff to make our new family member comfortable. Her choices were spot on.

Me and my significant other have started buying Betta fish from this Petco. 2 of them have come with previous illnesses/conditions (one infected with flatworms and the other having a massive fungal infection) and on the second trip to the store before the first fish had fallen ill, when asking for help getting a fish the employee stated that they could not help and that "There was no one there this week to take care of the fish". After that discussion we went to the Betta fish display and a few of the fish were just dead in containers or soon to be dead in containers floating in cloudy water. I think it is highly unethical to be the care taker of anything, especially something alive, and fail to do the basic tasks to take care of them considering it would just mean corporate at Petco would have to let the store staff 1 more person for 4 hours a day. I would highly recommend sourcing fish from genuinely anywhere else after seeing the condition of the store and the fish last week. Petco should be ashamed of themselves for how living creatures are being kept.Update: Both fish we purchased here died within a week from the aforementioned illnesses even though we attempted to save them.

RUG SHAMPOOER!! I was going to rent a shampooer before closing up the house, I do this every spring and fall. Like everything rental prices have also gone up, but Petco was still $29.99. Bissell made them a "pet hair" version and it works, brilliantly. The machine was clean, ran great and did an excellent job, perfect. There is not one thing bad about this machine. It's easy to operate, very clear directions and doesn't conk out after doing one rug. This is where to rent a shampooer from, promise. Make sure it's clean before you leave and return it the same way.

I purchased a male guinea pig that you had for adoption. The young lady that waited on me was very helpful and suggested a lot of things that I needed. she found me the Best Buy for my buck. Was very happy.... When I was ready to check out my new friend. The young man and woman at the register helped me again my giving me great coupons which again saved me money on m purchase. everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful. They seemed to really enjoy their job. Which doesn't happen very often. I was a wonderful buying experience.

I brought my 6 year old in to buy her first fish. Two girls helped us out and were both very friendly and helpful in setting us up with everything we needed to set up the aquarium. One of them tried to get us a kit off of a pallet that was overfilled and unstable and she called right away over her radio to get other employees to come address the issue so she could continue helping us. Great service all around.

Brought in my 1 year old Golden Retriever for his first groom by a professional. This was the first time I’ve ever had to leave him somewhere without me. The associate was kind and gentle with him. We discussed what I was looking to get done. He had a bath, had his teeth brushed, nails cut and buffed, and a hair cut. He was scared of the dryer so they dried him without it. My dog and I are very happy!!!

This was my first time using online order and pickup. I like this because I can see if it is in stock before I get to the store. Nice too to be all paid for before I went there. They had my order down near the check out which I did not expect. Very courteous offering to get me a car for my 30#s of cat litter. made it much easier to lug and put in the trunk with a high shopping cart.

If I could give 0stars I would. I have bought fish here twice and within 1week my established fish died. The first time they gave my fish Ick the second time I’m not sure. I called them to see what they would do, the answer is nothing. They told me my tank was too small but their employee literally told me I would be fine to have 6fish in my 10gal tank. And I have had that many in there previously that did fine! Will never purchase from petco again.

Went there today and the trainer was working with a family and a small puppy on a long line in the middle of the store. Puppy kept running up to my dog who can be dog selective. My dog did great luckily but very inappropriate to be forcibly involving other peoples dogs in your training session. Very good way to have a liability incident at your store. No reputable trainer would ever think that was ok.

We there Friday during my break waited for 20 minutes to get fish and still didn't get waited on went to line to cash out one register open another 20 + minutes in line decided I would get out of work early to get the two fish I wanted went at 7:45 for them to tell me I can't get fish because they have to much to do before they close the kid was just rude with attitude.I have nine fish tanks and spend hundreds of dollars I also spent almost two hundred Friday and Saturday but I guess I will drive a mile further to get better service.

This location is great. We got both of our puppies from adoption events here and the staff was all friendly and super excited to help us. They allow leashed pets and the store is always clean. The dog trainer always loves to see our dogs and gives them treats.

Had a good experience with this Petco location. It's never busy and close to home. I took my Newfoundland dog Oskar here to be trained by Dustin and Dustin was great. My dog however was stubborn at times and lazy which made him not trainable, but it's fine. Overall would recommend.
