I have got very great service here. With my couple times of experience, I would say thes vets are.not just knowledgeable but also are great with pets which is very important. I live about an hour from here and do have a vet in my area but unfortunately the ones in my area aren't as great with pets so I will always go here if there is something very concerning cause I believe they will take care of it and give my pet the comfort they deserve. I'm very picky with medical places and where I will go for services. I do highly recommend this place.

these people are awesome! i have an extremely anxious rescue who is mouthy and hyper alert by breed and the staff here went above and beyond in their kindness, patience and attention paid to her (and my) needs. very happy to have my fur baby in the care of this clinic!

Our cat, Shoog, was not a patient of theirs, but when we called at 10am for an emergency visit, they got us an appt for 11 and had the records from her old vet by the time we got there. They were very transparent about how much the care would be and treated our Shoog like she was their own. I have brought Shoog for this issue she has before to her old vet, but was just brushed off really and not educated at all. They must have spent a total of 30 minutes overall just talking to us and educating us. She took time explaining the X-ray - the Vet tech was the absolute sweetest too!! The price was very fair for all of the care that our cat received. Now, our Shoog is on the mend and feeling so much better!! No doubt this is the place we will be taking her and any future animals. We live about 30 minutes away but it is worth the commute! Thanks again, Team!!

the staff is nice but not when it comes to payment plans i am a broke college student. i live off work study funds. i emailed them ahead of time to ask them how much it'd be, they said $150 and when I get the bill it's for $265. then the receptionist girl gives me a judgy tone when i asked if i could pay the rest of the bill this Friday because that's when I get paid next and I didnt have that money because I was told ONE FIFTY!! they said "oh he is such a healthy cat" then listed like five different things wrong w him. they upscale the items they give you by A LOT they charged me $45 + tax for an ear solution i found online for $12.95. i'd give it a 2.5/5 if I could

I highly recommend Androscoggin animal hospital for all of your veterinary services! Charlie Paul my Chorgi he's my service dog being separated from him is difficult sometimes so when he's had to go in for procedures that require us to be separated the staff has been extremely understanding and made sure that we were together as soon as possible and provided calls just to make sure that everything was well after the procedure. This is above and beyond, and something you don't see anymore. They are professional courteous and knowledgeable Thank you so very much for everything you do for Charlie and I!

The staff and the care that they give to our pets at Androscoggin Animal Hospital has been excellent. Our dog Rogan has had a skin condition for the last year that they have been very helpful with. My doggie has been very sick with pancreatitis the last week. Dr Spelke and Jenna the vet tech are super awesome (everyone there is) and have bent over backwards helping us navigate this. Androscoggin animal hospital is probably the best vet that I have taken my pride and joy to! The Dr was so kind and she listens when u talk, actually listens! Was so good with my dog that is such a mama's boy he never goes to strangers and he went right to Dr Harrison, no problem! The staff is great! They were all very friendly, even on the phone they r super sweet!! I just love it here! I'm glad I found you AAH!! You've won me over so far!

Had a minor vet emergency while on vacation that needed to get checked out. They were able to see my dog the same day. Appointment was on time and quick! All the staff was very nice. Also appreciate the electric car charger!

I was very anxious to bring my 6 week old kitten to the vet due to having terrible experiences with my other cats at Brunswick Veterinary Clinic. We reached out later in the afternoon to see when they could get our kitten in…they were able to get us in the next morning!! Unlike my previous vet which would have taken 2 weeks. After walking into AAH I felt so welcomed and knew my kitten would be in great hands. The compassion & care they had for our small kitten made all my worries melt away! I would not bring my animals anywhere else after our first visit. They treated my kitty like their own and were very informative. We look forward to taking our kitten back in two weeks 😊

Absolutely love the girls at the check-in desk. I can't say enough about my dogs vet Dr. Horn and her vet techs. My dog Sierra actually likes going to the vet. Dr. Horn takes her time checking Sierra over and making sure she's a healthy girl.Two yrs ago Sierra got extremely sick and it took some time to figure out what the problem was but Dr. Horn did some research, always kept me informed of everything that was going on. In that difficult time, Dr. Horn eased me that things were going to be ok. Everyone at the clinic is so caring and the Best thing is knowing that my dog Sierra likes going there.

This was one of the most positive veterinarian experiences I've had. My pup is very anxious at the vet, ten fold since COVID. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and the doctor got right down on the floor with my dog as soon as we entered. He explained everything in plain terms and was very thorough, listing options and giving feedback on his thoughts on next steps, all while playing ball with my pup and making her feel at ease. It was such a great experience all around.

Both the Vet and the Vet Tech were extremely friendly, and extremely dog friendly. The both got right down on the floor with out dog to make it easier on him. They were very thorough and discussed our options. A very positive experience.

Androscoggin Vet is full of people who are calm, gentle, and compassionate with every animal, showing how much they care about each and every one through their handling of them and their humans. They go to great lengths to make sure both the animals and their humans are well taken care of, understand every detail of their care, and are comfortable with all their options. I took my sister's three (very untrained, very loud, very unruly) dogs in for some necessary care and the staff handled them excellently, even managing to calm them down in the process. This is definitely a good place to take your beloved fur baby if you're looking for quality care, kind hearts, and like minds. I'll be staying with Andro Vet for all future in-office needs.

We just moved to the area, and was needing to get our babies set up with the local vets office. I kept putting it off and of course, a somewhat emergency arose and I had to start calling around for an appointment. Androscoggin was the 3rd place I called, simply because of distance, and I was so happy that they were able to fit us in for a next day visit. Turns out our chihuahua gypsy will be just fine, and can't thank the staff here enough. Everyone was so kind, and gentle. Dr. Skillin was fantastic! The initial tech was just wonderful as well, but unfortunately I can't remember her name. I don't care that this place is a little bit of a drive for us, we will continue to come here. I already set a wellness check up appointment for our cat next month. Thanks again for everything!

I've been taking my dog and cat here for about a year, but am considering moving back to my old vet in Portland. The vets and technicians I've interacted with haven't seemed engaged at all, and I've found that trying to get care for a senior dog with chronic health issues has been frustrating and ineffective. I don't recommend this practice at all.

I bring my bunny Oreo to see Dr. McGee who is absolutely amazing with him!! She’s gently, caring and is helpful with answering questions! The whole staff works together, communicate and treat the animals like their own. Definitely recommend Androscoggin Animal Hosptial for your bunnies and other animals.

We brought our yellow Labrador, Wendy, in last week for lesions-bumps on her muzzle and face. John was great! He diagnosed a probable bacterial infection. Sent us home with antibiotics. Three days later, noticeable improvement. One week later, no sign of infection and she looks great. She's back to her old self!! Thanks, John and Andro staff.

I love this veterinarian (Dr. Spelke) and his whole practice. The techs are all really kind and dedicated and they treat my Emma like gold. She's always nervous to go to the doctor, so it's important that she's met with competence, kindness, and gentleness when she goes. I've never been disappointed at Androscoggin Animal Hospital.
