This is a great park (at least the large dog side). It's maintained solely by volunteers who appear to be doing a great job! The large dog area is full of toys, plenty of running space, drinking water and clean up supplies. There's plenty of seating areas in the shade for humans and even a building where people can leave canvas bags and other things for sharing. The small dog side is very lemke in space and without the extra amenities. The people we encountered were very nice and watchful of their dogs.

Nice area to get your pup's energy out. Lots of other great dogs (and people) for your pooch to have fun with. I go there everyday.

We are Maine residents visiting and took our golden there to get some exercise. The park itself is nice but the people there are very unfriendly, definitely a tight knit click. We said hi, no response. It felt like I was back in middle school again. The second day we went there, one of the dogs peed on the chairs that were sitting in. The owner was oblivious to it. Now my husband has urine soaked clothing, gross. It is clear they don't like outsiders, they won, we are never going there again.

Stopped by on the way through my home town to let my dawg get a little relief from being in the car for a couple of hours.They've done a nice job with this part. Lots of water for the pups....shade, open area, roomy, clean. 👍

We enjoy this dog park. It took my pup a little time to get use to the harassment of other pups. He was un-neutered at the time soooo he was “attractive” to make dogs. But we’ve been going for months and he enjoys it. Good people there and they try hard to reign there dogs in or take them out if they need some time out! 🙏grateful for this beautiful spot and the volunteer people that work hard to maintain it!

Amazing dog park. Lots of toys, well kept up, very community driven, and wonderful people/dogs. Me or my girlfriend bring our two dogs at least 3 times a week. Always new and friendly people. Park is always kept up by the community and well stocked with toys, poop bags, and water bowls. Love it so much

Big, fenced in dog park. Lotsa baggies, but people don't know how to use them. Lotsa landmines. Also, beware, this was the dog park in New England that gave our dogs the most ticks. There are quite a few bushes within the fenced area.

I frequent the park with my dogs and ones that I care for. My issue is when the park is busy and some owners don't care for their dog when it is not acting appropriately. I also think the park needs a rule that dogs over 6 months old need to be neutered or spayed to be able to enjoy the park. Unfixed dogs emit a hormone that can really set off anxious and aggressive behavior.

Thomaston Dog Park is a really great dog park to bring you dogs. They have a large area that is closed in that has lots of different small trees and toys for your dogs to play with. They have different little tunnels as well as plenty of dog poop bags. They are pretty clean for the most part however, you can find lots of broken tennis balls around the park and sometimes your dog might enjoy eating it. The park has friendly people who tend to follow the rules for the most part but once again, it is a dog park and dogs tend to react differently to different situations. I have had all pretty good experiences here however there is one thing to note when you are visiting here with your dog. If you stumble upon a dog named RoRo, beware. This dog tends to sit right on the little deck that is offered there with his owner and likes to be the park punk. It is still a wonder of the world why this dog keeps coming here when it doesn't interact with other dogs and just sits on the deck for the most part. When it hears other dogs playing it sometimes gets involved but appears to be aggressive. I have heard of stories of this place where the owner will just let there dogs do whatever but I personally haven't stumbled upon anything like that minus RoRo. Overall great time to be here minus RoRo and the chewed up broken tennis balls.

Dog park with large and small dog areas. Small dog area is very small. Nice landscaping and sitting areas. Make sure dogs have flea protection and are other-dog friendly. Pick up after your dog please.
