I’d been following them on Instagram for awhile drooling over their treats, and woke up Mother’s Day deciding it was the day, and finally went! My husband was like “Jolene you always do this, get pumped over something and then are disappointed, it might not be that good” and he was so wrong! Totally lived up to expectations! I had the blueberry cheesecake roll and it was everything I’d dreamed of! My kids also loved theirs, but their judgement doesn’t matter, they’ll eat anything with sugar. My husband got the spanakopita which was also tasty. Also, these ladies were so sweet and cheerful!

A truly wonderful place! Found this gem during our travels up the coast. The town itself is worth a visit. Yet, Laurel's Dolce Vita is the crowning jewel. We arrived later in the day, which limited our selection, but the owners were great and lovely. We were able to scrounge up a raspberry scone + roll, blueberry cake, loaf of cheese bread, and almond chocolate cake bites which were a perfect balance between richness and flakiness. A must visit! (plan on coming back a 2nd time on our way back)

who doesn’t love a seriously good Italian bakery. Not me. I search for reasons to go to Thomaston now. This place is 100% legit. Great selections. Great coffee. And…the sweetest two people you’ll ever meet anywhere. If you don’t go here you’re gonna be sad…and we don’t want any sad people wishing they’d stopped in. A+.

You know when it’s a good bakery when some pastries are gone by 9am. Everything was fresh, delicious, and tasty. The blueberry bun had a gooey filling and the dough was soft.

So hard to choose among the delicious pastries. The cinnamon rolls are big enough for two people and the scones are fantastic. Most recently we enjoyed terrific chocolate croissants. We stop in every time we come through Thomaston, and even make an occasional special trip just for a treat.

Everything was delicious! The raspberry turnovers is our go to. Nothing beats their chocolate chip cookie with a cup of coffee either. The dogs always like their yum-yum dog treats as well. Definitely a gem for the midcoast area and a must if your driving by.

This place is just incredible! The ever changing menu is always executed perfectly. Everything always looks and sounds so good that I can never buy just one item. Their tres leches is absolutely to die for, but honestly, everything is so fresh and lovingly made you just can't go wrong here.

My kids and I stopped in randomly while on a road trip. The two ladies working there were friendly and patient while I tried to figure out what I wanted. The lemon blueberry scones were delicious, and I'm looking forward to tasting the rest of my treats later! So glad we made the stop 🙂

AMAZING! The pastries here are incredible. I actually haven’t had pastries this good before and I know I will be back soon. The woman that filled out box of goodies was as sweet as the treats. 10/10 raspberry puffs will rock your world.

I came here to try her fabulous looking pastries! The scones were so good and she even had a gluten free scone. If taking it home, warm up a bit and slather butter on it to really make it more delicious 😋. I also got the cinnamon roll and I was expecting a gooey center and was little disappointed as it was not moist at all. Again warming up in the microwave helped along with butter . I got her Nutella stuffed cookies and they were very good. Tasty and the pastry was flaky.I would try her creme horns and cannoli next time since those looked absolutely delicious 😋 😍

It took a while for this bakery to get started, but it was worth the wait! Had a frosted pastry roll with lemon and blueberries. It was to die for! The texture was firm and like a dense sponge, moist and perfect! Loaded with blueberries and lemon frosting. Looking forward to my next visit.

Thomaston is very lucky to have such a great bakery added to the list of other fine new shops on Main Street ! Laurel and her Mom always have a warm smile to greet you and assist you in choosing your delectable indulgence out of so many tempting choices ! Love everything we’ve tried ( especially the blueberry pie !). Highly recommended- you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Fabulous place to stop for a coffee and some freshly baked pastries. Including gluten free! Very friendly staff and a warm welcoming environment, it feels like I just walked into my Mom’s kitchen filled with great smells and food made with warm loving care.

Laurel's bakery is found right in the heart of Thomaston where I ate a wonderful Maine blueberry pastry. It was hard to choose from the many options available. I'm from south Louisiana in the heart of Cajun country and Laurel, the owner, took time to chat with this crazy Cajun. Stop in and try one of Laurel's delicacies you won't be disappointed. Went inside this cute little bakery on a whim. Smelled heavenly of freshly baked cinnamon buns. We got a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread, a cannoli and a frittata. All delicious.
