We recently stayed in Surry on a trip to Acadia and this was a great spot near us for easy breakfast and lunches. There was a decent selection of food, more so than your average convenience store. We got fresh fruit, muffins, cinnamon rolls and hard boiled eggs to have around for breakfast. We stopped again for sandwiches and chips the next day and took them for a picnic lunch in Acadia. The Surry Store had very reasonable prices and a good selection of products for what we were looking for. The staff was very friendly as well. If you are staying in Surry, be sure to stop here for your grocery needs!

Very friendly as soon as you walk in. Eaten quite few different things off the menu, and they were all very good. My friend goes there all the time and their family has always enjoyed the food, and service from Surry Store, too. It's actually a lot better then you would expect from a small convenience store. Even the pizza "by the slice" had gourmet options, and is so delish!! Not too bad on price, either. Food good enough for snooty Bar Harbor tourists, but at local fisherman prices ;)

Stopped in to pick up a couple items before a hike. I was hoping to stop back in to try a muffin (or two) or the pumpkin bread. I will definitely be stopping by again shortly. Further, the young lady with the funky hair color was extremely nice, which made it a very pleasant surprise.

It's handy to get things to not have to travel far, but way over priced. The pizza is pretty terrible though. Very tough and greasy
