Had a great selection of gelato and ice cream! Everything looked very tasty! The staff was friendly. There is no seating outside of the shop, but there is a cute little seating area on the water no too far away! Also they have cups of ice cream for the doggies as well!

Delicious flavors. Nice cones. Great atmosphere. Must try. Old ice cream shop feel with numerous unique, homemade flavors of ice cream, gelato, dairy free, etc. Many size and types of cones and toppings to choose from! Great coffee options too, and other snacks such as baked goods. Cash and cards accepted, service with a smile.

Wonderful stop on the way back to Stonington from Acacia National Park. I had some of the best peanut butter ice cream and my wife lived the coffee Gelato. Great service and nice seating both inside and out.

Delicious hidden gem! Lavender lemon gelato...what! Fresh, smooth flavors that will blow your mind, they also have ice cream and lobster claw shaped ice cream bars!!! Make this a go to stop for your next trip you won't want to miss this. Single scoop is enough but why stop with one flavor when you can get more scoops, very reasonable and hands down delicious. They even had a non-dairy option!

This is my children's favorite ice cream shop in the Blue Hill/MDI area of Maine. Homemade creations made on site. I believe my favourite is called Puglicious which is reminiscent of spumoni to me. I travel back and forth to Maine for 1 week a month and stay longer in the summer. I've been faithfully bringing my children and husband home their favorite pints including Cotton Candy and Lavendar Honey. Great quality ingredients and a favorite year-round. Their premium chocolate chip cookies are hands down one of the best we have ever had! Cannot wait to try one of their beautiful ice cream cakes. Very cute setting in an old general store at the Surry Crossroads. Pints are available at several area grocers. Please continue to shop local!

Driving back to Blue Hill we stopped at Pugnuts in Surry. We waited in line to place our orders. Obviously, with COVID-19 restrictions in full blown effect we didn't experience Pugnuts in all its glory but what we did experience was delicious! Everyone I was with placed there orders and I wasn't expecting to get anything because most places don't offer sugar-free or no sugar added options. I was pleasantly surprised that when I got to the window they had three Keto ice cream flavors, which meant they had no sugar. I ordered the chocolate and coffee. They were both so rich and creamy. Everyone I was with enjoyed what they ordered too.

What a fun hidden gem with DELECTABLE HUGE ice cream helpings. The pup cups are so unique and arguably the best in Maine. Can't wait to stop here again 😌

Maybe the best ice cream we've ever had. It was such a nice surprise to find this spot. We had Oak Bourbon (the best honestly), strawberry and cream, blackberry and raspberry, and cotton candy - all the adults and kids in the house approved of it thoroughly!

Best ice cream shop! Impossibly good ice cream and gelato. The two young women on duty at the time we were there were doing a great job, often facing long lines of 10-20 people. They kept up a smooth, constant pace, serving everyone quickly without losing any of the personal touch.

I am a 100% professional ice cream critic and have to say.. This shop RE DEFINES quality ice cream. This ain’t no mid grade giffords peddling shop. Everything is made in house and INCREDIBLE tasting. Waffle cones were heavenly, ice cream was freaking delicious, and the pug theme was amazing. All around a life changing experience that makes it hard to eat at any other ice cream shop.10/10 would live here and eat ice cream for the rest of my life if I could.

Whoa, the other reviews aren’t lying. Some of the best ice cream I’ve had.Met a couple visiting Bar Harbor who said they read about this place and went and were not disappointed. Also my waiter at a local restaurant told me it’s his favorite spot in the area.Decided to try it with the fam and wow. I went with the Rum Raisin and it was delicious. Probably not a wrong choice to go with. 🍨🍦

Just a random tourist stop because the shop looked fun...... and the flavors were unique (lavender and honey was our favorite), prices reasonable for the area, and service was quick. Super creamy, homemade, and very high quality.Only small downside was a lot of fruit flies in their parking lot and order window.... did not encounter those anywhere else on our 7-night trip up/down the coast. Anyhow still so tasty worth getting it and driving to eat it at a spot with a view.

Cute little place. Employee who helped us was kind and complemented me. Medium cup portion was huge had my hubby finish it. Decor was nice. I liked the dipped waffle cone options they had. Was $30 for 5 people but that seems average to me.

This was such cute shop!! The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was fanominal!! So pleasant and quick! Oh, and the ice cream? Well that was so good, I'm looking forward to going back again for another flavor!!! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent ice cream. My daughter got the pink grapefruit. It was delicious. My other daughter got the cotton candy & devoured it. The staff is friendly. The place is beyond clean & the decor is awesome especially if you love pugs as much as we do. It was definitely worth the 30 minute ride to get there!!

Got a small and medium cup of ice cream for $12+ which was a sticker shock for us being on limited funds. Hubby loved his mint chocolate chip, but I was disappointed in the rum raisin. The rum flavoring was not consistent and I often had mouthfuls of no flavor. Bring your own spoon if you hate wooden ones which I do.
