Definitely the best food on the island and I’ve yet to find a better spot anywhere in Maine for pizza! I stop in at least once or twice a week and always more than satisfied with what I get. Their food is what keeps me going the best while I work and it is always a pleasure talking with the awesome lady who does the take out! I’m hoping to have a chance in the near future to actually dine in. It always smells great and looks very friendly and inviting. Can’t thank them enough for everything they do. True masters of their crafts and it is super appreciated to say the least!

When on Deer Isle in the off-season this is the best you're going to get and might be the only place open. Foods good with decent portions. Views of the Stonington waterfront and ocean. Food came out quick and hot and our waitress was awesome, great service! Definitely a place to grab a bite or a beer when on the island.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

We always enjoy our food and service at Stonecutters.The greek stonecutter pizza is always my go.We also throroughly enjoyed our breakfast there recently. I had the breakfast burrito and it was more than enough food for me and super tasty! The views of the harbor is an added bonus as well as the friendly staff.Definitely check it out if your in the area.

Fun pub with friendly service, great views, and yummy fried seafood. Cook was accommodating for request for grilled, not fried, fish. Chicken Caesar wrap was yum 😋. They were all out of sweet potato fries.It was crowded so service was a bit slow. Server was gracious and helpful.Overall good experience.

July 2023 visit- Hammer and Chizel Pizza was good, could have used more sauce. (I asked for a container of sauce and I received it. Still needed a second container to add to pizza) Toppings where plentiful. Sat outside on the deck looking over at the water. There’s a sun shade over the deck however, it doesn’t provide shade to 3pm sun or later day sun in July. I would go back for the pizza again & order with extra sauce. Excellent spot on a beautiful island. Great views from the patio. The waitress was very good and nice, and service was fast even when busy. Decent list of beers on tap. All of our food was delish.

I like the idea of the counter ordering and sitting by the water and it was what we were looking for with the family during a day of exploring. But the food took a LONG time and there was virtually no service - we got up and got our own silverware. Maybe it was an off day but it was August in Maine.

Best fried clams ever. I am from Maine so know a bit about clams. These were literally the best ever. The veggie pizza is amazing too. Great staff and great scenery.

Service was great,nice atmosphere right on the water. Food was good, but a little pricey.$25 for the seafood chowder. Only $15 for the haddock tacos which were delicious.Parking: Plenty of parking.

Was in Stonington for three nights recently, had pizzas from Stonecutters Kitchen the first night. They were so good, went back again for takeout the next night! The Greek pizza was by far our favorite and priced incredibly reasonably (I dare say cheap!). Boneless wings were a very large portion, good beer and wine selection as well. Will be back for certain.

Had takeout here last night. My family had haddock bites and onion rings they said were delicious.I had a sandwich on gluten free bread bc of an allergy. I worry of cross contamination but I had zero issues and it was delicious. Even the bread! (And if u are gf u know good bread is rare)I don't have pic of restaurant but this is part of the gorgeous view you will have if u visit.

Cute placeThis little restaurant is tucked in a convenient store in the back. The restaurant seating is closed during winter season but they do take out in the winter.I ordered fish tacos one night and a haddock and shrimp plate another night. I have to say, it was delicious! the breading was perfect, not too skimpy and not too bready - just right! Fries were salted perfectly, portions appropriate and staff were friendly. Fish tacos were large and scrumptious! They were messy but oh so good :)If I happen to stumble upon this little town again I will be back to enjoy those tacos again!

Dude this place’s pizza blew me away. I was not expecting that. They over did it on my wife’s toppings, but mine was incredible. I got some bbq specialty pizza. It blew me away. For being a small town on the edge of the world this pizza is top notch. Word to the wise, if it looks like too many toppings in the list it probably will be too much for the pizza. Note to chef: use fresh jalapeños instead of canned it’s way better

Honestly, very disappointed. For a restaurant that is 50ft from the busiest lobster port in the US, you would think they have a good lobster roll. actually, you would expect that to have a GREAT lobster roll. Well, they don’t. It’s okay, at best. They shred the lobster and have a lot of mayo on it. I wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t recommend it.

Great Atmosphere. Real "home" feel. The wait staff was personable and the food was good. Got the Mate's Plate. Perfectly fried but it would have been nice to have a few more clams and scallops for the price I paid. 7 out of 10 would recommend!

Very pleasant place to eat. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The view of the harbor was great and the food was well-prepared. The seafood chowder was excellent and plentiful. The haddock sandwich was cooked perfectly. I'm not usually that fond of french fries, but my order was being fought over by other table occupents as well as me. I will return with my family!

Very nice outdoor dining. Food was excellent especially scallops and haddock,the coating used is the best I've had in some time! Service was good and food arrived quickly. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend you try them if in that area!
