I'm glad we walked down the drive to this gem. I only wish I took pictures of the inside which is very different from the outside! Certainly worth a wander through for the books and other interesting Maine items, plus the waterfront view.

We love visiting Dockside Books & Gifts. Mike and I have been stopping in since 2015. We enjoy talking with El and hearing all the interesting history and stories about Stonington. Fun place to visit with a beautiful harbor view! El's store has a nice variety of books and gifts! If you are in Stonington make sure you stop in to see El!

Small shop on the harbor with interesting inventory of books and gifts. A short walk from anywhere in the village. The shop itself is classic New England and the shop owner is friendly and a helpful resource regarding the Island. Dundee, their tiger tabby, is the "cat's meow"!🐱

A good selection of books, cups, mugs, maps, art, and memorabilia exactly as close to the water as you hoped it would be. The view of the bay is also wonderful here.

Visited here in August of 2016. A great little gift shop with a mix of souvenirs from commonly found to unique "Maine" items. The location can't be beat and the owner was friendly and helpful.
