Id say this place is amazing, me and my family have been coming here for years now and we have a seasonal with our camper. The workers are very nice and will be unless you are rude to them. I wouldn't recommend tent camping here, but with a camper/rv is good. There are places for boats and you can rent a boat right nearby if you don't have one already. The only thing id say could be improved is the bathrooms. Overall my family loves it here and we will continue coming every summer

Great location on the lake with a decent beach. Some sites are fairly small, and the facilities are not aging well. Up keep seems to be an issue here, as we visited 6 years ago and things are only worse. Bathrooms are not well maintained, showers are very old, small, and dirty (pretty gross.) Sites 75-85 all have water surrounding them which encourages flooding and bugs. That's being said, everyone was nice and pleasant to work with.

The location of the ground is really nice. That’s about all I can say. The bathrooms were unkempt. The camp site we stayed at was swampy water on three sides . It was disgusting. So buggy from all the standing water . I get that it rained but there was several empty sites they could have moved us around too. Also on the 4th there was music playing really loud and partying until at least 230am. It’s stated literally that he’s a family campground and we didn’t get that feel.

This is a nice small campground for trailers / motor homes mainly. It is direct across from the beach with a camp store that sells ice, food, drinks and candy. Very reasonable rates (not reasonable for tenting). Everyone is real nice and you'll have a good time. It seems they have a few permanent trailers and you are able to ride around the park in your golf cart. They also have a nice playground and large field for kids to play.

My family and I stayed at this camp ground for 4 days at the beginning of August & it was horrible. The people who work there are extremely rude & made us feel extremely unwelcome & uncomfortable. It rained the majority of the time we were there & with 3 children our clothes & belongings (we stayed in tents) we’re drenched & smelly. The camp says they offer laundry services & the time listed on the door is from 9-5 but each time we went to try to wash our stuff we were told we couldn’t because they were closed. I begged the lady there to wash my families belongings & she was rude & told me they were closing at noon & I couldn’t do it. I told her I had no choice but to do it & put them in anyway sense at this point my kids had no clean clothes or towels etc. They closed it after I put our laundry in the wash & then they refused to allow us to try anything. I spent half the day making 5 huge close lines to hang all our wet stuff up to dry it & before it was dried it started to rain again, so all our stuff go drenched once again. The site we had was so small we couldn’t set our tent up with out it either being right next to the water hook up that would leak into our tent, or being right next to the fire pit. The bathrooms were gross. There was nothing to do for activities at thecamp ground. I wouldn’t recommend this camp ground for anyone, especially families with children or anyone staying for an extended amount of time. The ONLY high light of our trip was that we were located next to an elderly man who owned his camp site who was extremely friendly & helpful. He helped us set up our clothing line & loaned up better rope to use for it to try to dry out our stuff. He tried to help us in any way he could & really nice unlike the people who actually work there.

The campground has a large number of yearly lease sites, with the daily rentals mostly near the entrance. It is nice and wooded throughout. The best feature is the sandy beach on Sebago. Site 4 was spacious. There are also a few cabin for rent which had some fairly noisy groups while we where there, but it was ok.Update: I have returned several years in a row now and highly recommend this family run campground. If you like wooded sites and lake access... This has both in spades.

Just came home from a 3 night stay. We have a 25' TT our site was covered in broken beer bottles. When we talked to the owners we were told that they had but sand on it and handed us a rake to clean it. It was our first their. We will never go back.

Wonderful camp ground. Wonderful stay! My family and I needed a weekend away. Small family owned campground with its own beautiful strip of beach. Owners are very nice people and we felt extremely welcome. 15 minutes to tourist areas for mini golf, restaurants and drive in movies, but far enough away that you get a nice peaceful experience. Overall loved it.

Very beautiful and relaxing campground next to a private beach available to all campers. Owners were extremely nice and helpful. Only thing I would do differently next time is choose another spot as we like our privacy. Some spots can be close together if you choose those in the front of the campground. We enjoyed our stay and the amenities such as a store and laundromat.

Sites are level and nicely shaded, most are spaced out well. The beach is across the street and lake is not visible from sites. It was mostly quiet and people were friendly. No wifi was the down point.

This will be able our third year camping here and we are always treated with respect. The owners are friendly and so helpful. Our daughter has disabilities and they went out of their way to accommodate her. The rest of my family was treated so well that they now camp there too! Thanks for the wonderful vacations and look forward to seeing you this season.

Traveled from Florida. Had a wonderful stay at Sebago Lake Family Campground. My daughter lives 1/2 an hour away she and the grandchildren came to visit with us and enjoyed the lake..

Staff was great and friendly. Beach was very very clean. Loved the daily trash service pickup. However once in awhile the breeze would allow us to get a scent of the dumpsters. Only suggestion to the crew is get smaller dumpsters and have them emptied more often.

I had just camped here for the first time (July 2016)! I had a wonderful time and couldn't ask for a better place to relax. The beach is absolutely beautiful! I loved that it wasn't a bunch of camp sites thrown on top of one another and allowed privacy. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and made checking in and out smooth and easy. The only thing I would recommend is update the bathrooms. I have been in much worse, but it would be nice to see the bathrooms redone. Other than that, I would definately recommend the campground.

This review comes from someone who sees a lot of different campgrounds, enjoys exploring them all to see what each facility has to offer. This campground has an amazing location, but disheveled facilities and friendly, if not a bit inattentive, camp staff. It's great to find a campground so close to a lake. All the stars on this review are given because of this campgrounds adjacent proximity to Sebago Lake. It is difficult to find anything else endearing about the facility to warrant additional stars. The facility itself is rather rundown -- there are so many elements of it that are in desperate need of maintenance and repair. The bathroom is a little "scarey", the floorboards so spongy, you feel like you're about to fall through. The roofing on all buildings appears several decades worn. When site owners don't care for or maintain their grounds, they aren't likely to go out of their way to care for their guests. We found the latter to also be true, when we needed help from the staff in finding some local RV Repair professionals. Our site was at the front of the campground, about 75 yards from the dumping station. We had the unpleasant wafting smell of sewerage across our site more than occasionally. Avoid sites 1-3.Aside from the lake, there are no fun things for children to do: no playground, no gaming rooms, etc. There is a large field for yard games (and the beach area), but that's it. If traveling with young children, come prepared for that. The private beach is very nice : wide and not overly crowded. The view of the lake, however, is choked with boats. There are so many boats moored in front of the swimming area that you won't get an appreciate view. The swimming area, while wide, does not extend very far into the lake. It's a few swim strokes to the edge of the bouys from the beach. It gives the sense that the campground owners shrunk the swimming area, so they could make room for the small flotilla of boats owned by their large residence of seasonal guests.Speaking of, the site seems heavily populated with seasonals. Certainly more than 80% of the guests are seasonal. These are people who clearly appreciate the opportunity to moor their boat inexpensively on the lake, and get away to a "summer place" (although from the evidence of the wood piles many of these sites have, they come to these grounds year round). The author doesn't mean to imply there is anything wrong with that, but if you're looking for a family friendly campground with lots of amenities and things to do, this may not be the site for you.For $60/night, we expected a bit more, but enjoyed our stay regardless.

My aunt and uncle and four cousins had this camp site booked for labor day weekend. The week prior they went to Pennsylvania and my uncle suffered a massive stroke ultimately causing his death. The site had been cancelled and rebooked during his hospital stay as we were hopeful for his recovery and my aunt desperately wanted her kids to be able to enjoy their camping trip. But my uncle passed away on Labor Day and we were all in Pennsylvania saying our goodbyes for that weekend. It was a horrible experience and we have all suffered a devastating loss. His kids were only 3, 11, 13, and 17.I tried to explain this to the owner but she refused to refund me and expressed her understanding for what I was going through as she's suffered a closer loss. She said that this is how she pays for her family. I understand that they need to make their money but there should be a policy where a death changes the circumstances of a refund. As much as I want to understand this campsite I can't right now and am angry with the lack of compassion for what our family is going through.

Great location and friendly staff. Bathrooms are frightful and the hot water wasn't working for the seven days we were present. Campground could use a face lift, but seems to be working for them.

I was happy with my experience. I was worried about lack of privacy due to other reviews, but with tent camping there was plenty. 83-77 around that area for tent sites, pretty private location. It looks like there's a few "permanent" campers there which throws it off for me. Overall happy though.

My family had been coming camping and to this beach since my gram was a little girl. I have so many amaizng memories growing and camping here every summer. Now my dad become a seasonal so we can spend more time at camo. Its a great place to come an enjoy family and sit back and relax by the camp fire or at the beach. Teddy and Roy and very caring and extremely friendly.

The unfriendly welcome to this campground was shocking! You would have thought I had shown up wearing an orange jumpsuit with a beer funnel on my head. The woman at the front desk was not only rude to me on arrival but also very rude to my visitors that wanted to come to the beach during the day. Their waste dumping area at the front of the campground smelled awful which was yet another slap in the face when coming in. The showers were not well kept. The only part of this campground that I found pleasant was the beach area. Now I know why they had so many open sights on a beautiful weekend during peek season. They lost my business and I hope all that read this… If you want a friendly place to go try Eastern Slopes Campground in Conway, NH.

My family had been going to this campground for 23 years. My parents have became seasonals. The owners are wonderful, the bathtooms are always clean, great sandy beach on the lake with moorings for boats and the sites are roomy, mostly private and clean.

Save your money and go somewhere else. NO HOT WATER even though the website says hot showers. They don’t clean their sites. Bathrooms are GROSS. Our seasonal neighbor woke us up at 2AM screaming. The list can go on and on. Please take your money and go elsewhere

Good solid campground with a lot of seasonal residents. Quiet with a nice private beach across the street. Laundry room was clean.

It's ok. Facilities are outdated, but the wooded area is nice. Plus you have an access to the lake beach right across the street. Lake is very clean, beach is nice. You can rent a boat if you want.

We tented for 2 nights. When we arrived our site wasn't completely clean. Trash and cigarette butts were scattered about. It was very shady so the mosquitos were borderline unbearable. The playground was fun for the kids. The bathroom was disgusting and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. It was very loud at night past the quiet hour of 10pm. Older kids playing on the playground until late into the night and our lovely neighbors had a projection tv set up outside where they played extremely loud video games of Mortal Combat all night. The beach was great -so that saved this trip. I wont be going back, ever. There are so many other amazing tenting choices in Maine, this was not one of them.

Lovely view and peaceful. Was just through and had to stop and appreciate the area. This was in off season. No one was around at the time. I can image staying here would be wonderful.

would not recommend you rent a cabin here. they’re way to overpriced considered how run down they are. also very close together and right off a busy road so there’s so much noise. the only good part is there’re close to the lake
