Happy to shop here. This is one of 3 Hannafords I visit regularly (Gorham/N. Windham/Standish) depending on my route for the day. No complaints. Never had an issue and selection is great. Not sure what else to comment on a grocery store… I guess for the Standish one, if you have a reason to walk over to Percy’s next door before/after your shopping trip especially for weekend breakfast/lunch with a friend or loved one, definitely do it. Great excuse to run errands and have an excellent bang-for-your-buck diner-style brunch. And the gas station nearby is reasonably priced if you need to top up.

Great store. This is my first time visit in this location. They seem to have some different/new products than the Sanford Maine store. However I did not find that the employees or quite as friendly. As for the stall layout it was pretty basic to the standards of Hannaford but it is somewhat of a new store, comfortable with an inviting atmosphere. I would go back and Shop here again.

You know I spend an exorbitant amount of money at Hannafords. Today I took my purchase through express on accident. I work 3 jobs to keep 10 people going and it was 100 percent my fault because I didn’t pay attention. I work breakfast and at a bar so I work late and get up early. I’m lacking sleep. The what I’m assuming is a manager with dark short hair and glasses came over to scold me even after I apologized not just once but twice. I appreciate the lack of customer service. I’ll be sure to take my business elsewhere.

Prices are OK. Some things I can find cheaper elsewhere like Diet Coke and low-fat milk. But it’s a convenience thing. And staff is always kind and helpful.

It's fine. To go orders need a LOT of work. Stocking needs a lot of work. Cart gathering needs work. I placed a $60 order and only received $20 worth of items because they were out of all my items. Went inside and got them myself. They're never in stock with smiling hill farm milk so I guess I'll be driving 2 towns over to buy it directly from them since Hannaford seems to only stock the fridge once a week. Half the parking spaces shouldn't be fully blocked by carts but that's more to do with rude inconsiderate people not bringing them to corrals and leaving them behind other people's vehicles than the store itself. Might start shopping elsewhere.

Nice grocery store. Ordered cooked lobster and steamers from the seafood department. They were clean, hot and ready on time. Still hot after reaching the house and ready to eat.Highly Recommend ordering cooked lobsters and steamers.Some items to consider is that the other seafood is not all fresh items like above. Ask before purchasing. We bought some of the frozen shrimp and other defrosted fish.Cooking the fish and shrimp on the BBQ turned out very good and all guests said it was very delicious.

My family has shopped here for 30 years and the quality has never been so low. Their meat, produce, and dairy are regularly sold as rotten, expired, or on the cusp of both. I was just denied a refund (my 2nd request in 30 years) for produce that was moldy 2 days after purchase because I didn’t bring it back to the store (I had the receipt). Apparently you are expected to hold onto rotten food until you can find the time to deliver it back to hannaford. The prices are awful now as well. I will be driving twice as far to Market Basket for better customer service, quality, and lower prices from now on, and I’ll be sharing my experience with anyone who will listen.

This is the worst Hannaford possible! Every single product that I’ve bitten there in the last 1-2 months has completely rotted before the expiration date. Today is 8/11. Expiration date of English Muffins 8/15, completely molded. Bread dates 8/16, completely molded. Bought milk dated 8/20 completely sour. This is just 3 examples from my last trip. The last 1.5-1 month this has gone on. My whole entire family now shops elsewhere! If it doesn’t come out of a box or can. Don’t buy it. Actually, just don’t shop here!

We've been coming here for 2 years and it's been a great experience. The staff has been polite and accomodating. The store is clean and well stocked. Everything is organized in a logical and practical way and I sometimes found MORE choices than other Hannafords. I do wish they stocked more champagnes but I know it's very niche.

I was in desperate search for a Portland press Harold that had my grandfather’s obituary. I called everywhere. Last chance hope I called Standish hannaford, and Allie answered. She went and checked and they had one left:She held it to the side for me and my grandmother.Not only did she do this, she paid for it.I went to pick it up 15 minutes later and was told what she did. They also told me where she was (putting away carts). I found her and thanked her and gave her a big hug.This is what I love especially in the same industry as her.Thank you Allie, every one needs someone like you in their life. ❤️

I used Hannaford to go and it was the easiest grocery shopping experience ever. It's definitely worth the $5 service fee due to how much time it saves you. I always end up spending less $ than if I went in myself. It stops the impulse buying. The app always sends me great coupons for free items or $ off based on past purchases.

I switched from Shaws to Hannaford when I moved to Waterboro. No Shaws. It turned out to be a good thing. I like Hannaford's better. It's layout is easy to understand, shelves are stocked & staff is always helpful. Hannys is now my grocery store of choice.

This store is always clean. Produce is stocked nicely in design as well as plentiful. Meat department is accommodating to our request. Everything is always fresh, rotated for goodness. Most of all the employees I encounter are always friendly.

It's a much smaller list to explain the negatives. The only thing I've ever had an issue with is an occasional lack of cashiers. Otherwise this grocer is fantastic. Always in stock, fresh meats and produce, helpful associates, easy parking, and a clean store. Prices are similar to other grocers.

Just left this store. Very busy. Mask wearing not monitored. No reason for people not to be wearing them at this point in the pandemic. I'll shop at a different store or different time. I have 2 relatives in assisted living I visit weekly. I cannot afford to pass this disease to them.

Needed something at the Customer Service window. Was kept waiting by loitering employees hanging out in front of it. While I was kept waiting I Had to use the restroom so I put my basket down and announced I was doing so and would be back and when I returned, so was my basket. Additionally, not 1 time in the last 6 months has my prescriptions been ready when they say they will be ready. Even when I call in a fill days ahead of time, they’re always “working on that now, can you wait 15 minutes?” when I show up.

I love the new hannaford to go. It makes my life so much easier. We have a busy family and it's great to be able to order my groceries from my own home and pick then up later on my way home from work. The staff have been so nice and helpful. I've ordered the last 3 weeks and not a single issue. Good job to the To Go Team!

I frequent many different Hannaford supermarkets for their "to go" services. I had the best service last night from the Standish Hannaford to go. Tiffanie went above and beyond to get me what I needed and she was so sweet, she even had a treat for my little dog! Tiffanie is really a shining star of this store; give that lovely woman a raise or at least some recognition for doing a superb job!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This location is a nice store but of course due to the area it's not a very big store and so they don't have quite the selection of things I need to do major shopping.But, they are great for a quick trip for pet food, kitty litter, fresh fruits/veggies, cereals and other items.They also have a decent selection of breads, pastries, organic foods, chips, drinks and other items.The cashiers are friendly and I find the overall staff to be helpful and friendly as well.The pharmacy is less than desirable and do not recommend using them. They're unwilling to go above and beyond and can be rude. They are especially unfriendly to anyone with chronic pain, anxiety, and difficulty sleeping.
