Busy place which is always a sign of good food! I had a sausage, cheddar cheese eggbiscuit but left off the egg…#allergygirl. The biscuit was freshly made fluffy and delicious. The sausage was just sausage nothing special but good. I was impressed with how hot it was… so fresh I needed to wait a few minutes to eat it. I also tried the blue berry scone, cheddar scone and the blue berry strudel. The winner was the blue berry strudel. Get one! Thank me later!!! The scones just didn’t have the scone texture I expected.

Went on a tip from a friend (a local!) who said they had the best coffee around - wasn’t disappointed.More of a selling point for me was the pastries - a large gluten free selection: lemon scope and blueberry muffin pictured. Lots of gluten free pastries! That said, neither were particularly good - bordering on ‘bad’ - but I’m easy to please, so the effort alone gets a 5 star.

Came here for coffee and breakfast one morning, and now I’m hooked! The baked goods are made fresh by the owners every morning, and most everything sells out by mid day. Get there early if you want the full selection!!So far I’ve had the muffins, pumpkin bars, breakfast sandwiches, and even a cinnamon roll that is only available on Saturdays. (Yum!!) This is one place that I have a really tough time deciding what to get because everything is so damn good. (Hence the missing bites in the biscuit pic)The coffee is excellent and served by a very efficient and friendly staff that gets you in and out as fast as possible. There are local jams and other souvenirs available to check out as you wait in line.If you are looking for a nice spot to grab some coffee and a quick bite to eat, you can’t go wrong with this gem!! They are busy for a reason, check them out!

We haven’t been able to find a good coffee shop on the island for days, and this place came up on our radar. They had plenty of seatings both inside and outside, and since they were located next to a plaza, parking spots were also plenty. Both the coffee and the muffin were great, and we were able to get recharged for our next trip. Whether you need a break or a quick breakfast, this is the place to go.

This place came outta nowhere for me. Been coming up to Southwest Habor for 20 years and then I found Milagro. Probably the best newest place on the island. Coffee is great! So is service, cleanliness, decor and selection. You will be lining up when they open Tuesday- Saturday. I did.

Very tasty bagels and burritos! My husband loved the breakfast burrito and I enjoyed the rosemary sea salt bagel. Great little spot to grab a quick bite and some coffee! Lots and lots of home made goodies too including bars, cookies, and home made granola bars.

After being disappointed with another bakery in town, we went to Milagro off the suggestion of someone we ran into in town that we had met on a hike a few days prior. They have a great selection of pastries and a small breakfast menu. I got the breakfast bagel (bacon, egg, cheese) and my boyfriend got the lox bagel on a rosemary and sea salt bagel. Although the bagels were unfortunately small, they were quite fresh and tasty. The pastries we got were good though (blueberry muffin, banana pecan muffin, and a chocolate coconut macaroon). And we hadn’t realized two we ordered were gluten free, and the woman at the register asked if we wanted them bagged separately, which is incredibly nice. Although neither of us has gluten allergies, my son has severe nut allergies and it’s always nice to see places offer to bag things separately due to diet restrictions. The staff was incredibly friendly and we enjoyed our food. We will definitely return if we’re in the area again!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options.

Cute little spot with a lovely atmosphere. Grabbed an iced mocha and a sausage biscuit here before our morning hike at the Beech Mountain Trail just 15 minutes away. Outside seating available!

Visited a few mornings ago as we left the Acadia area. We recommend supporting this cute, local business. The coffee needed some more oomph but we tend to drink dark roast coffees so the coffee flavor may be for you. My spouse ordered the PB&J breakfast bagel and said it was "perfectly baked" with "perfect" strawberry jam. She also ordered the blueberry scone and doesn't recommend buying it. I ordered a breakfast cookie and it was spectacular with the right mix of sweet and spice. My other breakfast item as a boiled egg sold for $1. Great atmosphere and location.

We randomly found this place on our way to the Wonderland Trail in Acadia. The baked goods were the highlight of the day and it’s worth a dedicated trip just for the blueberry pastry. One of the best sweets I’ve had in 50 years, totally memorable. Insane vegan breakfast menu, insane vegetarian options. All around one of the highlights of a week in Maine!

Fantastic little coffee shop serving fantastic drinks and baked goods. Had a perfect americano, cappuccino, and blueberry muffins. Would absolutely recommend. Also was able to grab a jar of local preserves for the road.A great way to start my last day in Maine. Would recommend to travelers and locals alike!

My fiancé and I are out-of-towners and we’re in desperate need of an early stop for coffee. Milagro opens at 6:30 AM which is amazing! The shop is adorable, with a good amount of seating inside and an adorable patio outside, where we sat and ate breakfast. Everyone behind the counter greeted you with a smile and were extremely polite. The blueberry scone was actually moist and delicious and the breakfast burrito was awesome. We each ordered a flavored latte and happily sipped them outside. We’ll definitely make this a stop when we come back!

I’m very surprised this place has such high reviews. We came at 8am to have breakfast and were out in 15 min very disappointed with the quality of food. The breakfast bagels were terrible. Low quality cream cheese and plastic looking eggs (maybe that was previously frozen eggs, the eggs looked very unnatural and strange). The blueberry scone was just sweet without any flavour other than sugar.Unfortunately we could not eat the food, and ended up discarding it and going to another local place Clark’s Point cafe for breakfast. The owner of the place is also very aggressive when anyone dares to criticise her place. If you did not enjoy this place and express it in the review- expect to get personally attacked and blamed. Very unprofessional and immature. Avoid.

Make the pit stop. If your a breakfast person like I am, stop here and get you one of their homemade bagels and a cup of joe! Delicious is an understatement when it comes to their quick hand held goodies! You will not be sorry!

Super efficient and organized yet very homey and cozy cafe. So many gluten free options- at least 5 kinds of gf muffins/scones and the option to have most sandwiches on gf English muffin. The gf blueberry/lavender muffin didn’t have much flavor, and was mostly stuck to the paper wrapper, but I would definitely try another kind of muffin! The egg breakfast cups were yummy and the drinks were great! Give yourself time as there may be a wait, but it was definitely worth the wait!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Coffee is great. (I had a double macchiato, and it was spot on.) The pastries all looked inviting; I went for a scone, which was pretty darn tasty.I have no idea what the (few) negative reviewers were talking about -- my guess is that the individuals were either having a bad day or just aren't coffee people in the first place.

My fiancé and I each own a small business in New Jersey, and we were on the hunt for some coffee this morning while visiting MDI and honestly, only landed on MILAGRO because they were open earliest! Then, we read reviews - and couldn't help ourselves from trying the exact items some of the 1 star reviews complained about. Because as business owners, we've both had some crazy reviews left for our business that we don't understand.Let me say... AMAZING experience. We had 1 blueberry scone to share, 1 breakfast burrito each, and we each had a 16oz latte. It came to about $30. I don't know where you're from, but in New Jersey, you could never get a decent breakfast for 2 - lattes - and a pastry for that cheap! We sat outside on the cute patio. They offered free WiFi. The owners and staff clearly have poured their hearts into decorating, organizing, and maintaining their shop as it's also clean - spotless - and adorable. And, Shout-out to the owners of this place for defending their business's reviews on Google in a professional, kind manner. It's so hard to give the best service possible have people still attack the reputation of your livelihood. You want cheaper coffee? A place that will give you free exchanges because you don't like the custom thing you ordered? Maybe you shouldn't eat out while traveling 🤷🏼‍♂️Good luck MILAGRO and we hope to come back the next time we visit MDI !

Cute little spot - coffee drinks moderately priced, they have a ton of flavor syrups. Baked goods all seemed a little too expensive for me. Bathroom out in the back!
