We just went on our second trip up to Cape Newagen Alpaca Farm and Gift Shop. We all had so much fun. Last time Mike took us on our walk and he was awesome! This time Anne took us, and she was also just great. The Alpacas are all so sweet and friendly. We can’t get enough kisses!! It is wonderful to have this kind of an experience and also see that the Alpacas are so fat and happy!The Gift Shop is wonderful. I always find a gift for a friend, and one for me:)Thank you Anne and Mike for sharing your sweet Alpacas with us!!

My boyfriend and I were on a roadtrip through New England and kept seeing things about Alpaca farms. We drove about an hour out of the way to stop by Cape Newhagen and SO glad we did! Anne and Michael were the sweetest and meeting others from around the country who also were on the tour was a plus. If you are looking for a unique or fun activity to do for any age, we highly recommend!

We visited this amazing Alpaca farm near Boothbay area and my family and I had a wonderful time meeting the Alpacas and learning Alpaca facts. The owners were amazing people and gave us the tour and showed us how they use the fibers of the Alpcas. We'll definitely come back when we visit Maine again.

I was able to squeeze in a tour before work and it was WONDERFUL. Very informative, laid back, relaxing environment. A great seratonin pick-me-up. I will be back for more!

Well worth the visit. We learned a lot about Alpacas. My kids got to feed them and learn how Alpaca yarn is made. Anne is a gracious host, I highly recommend a stop here.

I was originally scheduled to do a trek in July, one alpaca was having difficulties with her birth, so we had to reschedule.That was made for Sept 25.I was ecstatic! So ecstatic, that I arrived a whole day early on the 24th. Anne was soo understanding, she allowed us to stay and do the trek anyways! I was so embarrassed but yet so greatful. She got, Zara, Daenerys (Danny) and Winterberry ready to go and off we went.I'm an adventurous person. I love a good nature walk, even if its on a trail that only Anne really must be able to find her way through. The landscape was beautiful. The alpacas were amazing. Anne and Mike were just absolute peaches about letting us intrude on their relaxing Saturday evening.Thank you again for such a wonderful and informative time.

We stopped at Cape Newagen Alpaca Farm and it was probably the best part of our vacation! Anne and Michael were so welcoming and friendly and answered all of the questions we had. They keep the alpacas so healthy and happy. The shop has tons of homemade gifts at very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this beautiful farm and we are for sure going back!

Decided to visit today with my daughter and mom. It was such a wonderful experience! Mike was super friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel right at home! His wonderful wife makes stunning goods from the alpaca fibers. It’s all around a wonderful place to visit with wonderful care for the animals! The alpacas are adorable too!

What a fun place to visit! Mike and Anne were gracious hosts and taught us about their beautiful alpacas. They are funny animals friendly and furry and even give kisses! If you’re looking for a great activity to do with your kids head down to learn about alpacas, highly recommend!

We take our Thompson Cottage guests for a tour of Southport Island and Mike and Anne's Alpaca Farm is the hit....ALWAYS! In fact I have have trouble getting them to leave because Mike and Anne take time to answer all of their many questiona.Love the shop too. My favorite thing is the socks....warm and toasty. Hope to purchase some of their yarn soon and join the Thursday knitting. and rug-making group .The Alpaca Farm on Southport is a real addition to this area.
