My local Hannaford and it's always stocked well, and if I can't find something I ask staff and they're always willing to accommodate me. As far as I'm concerned it's a great local area Hannaford grocery store.

This is where I always get my prescriptions. Everyone that works in the Pharmacy is always very nice. If I'm being honest, I do think they are slower than most pharmacies. I have to call them after my Dr calls in prescriptions for me every time because if I don't, they don't start working on it until I go in to pick it up. Even then it can still sometimes be anywhere from 10-20 min. I understand completely that they get super busy, maybe bring on a couple more people? I will continue using them though, I know they work super hard in there and are doing their best!

In from Michigan for work and stopped in for a groceries. What a pleasant store. What a treat to find lots of local items plus a super friendly staff. I don't mind paying extra and avoid the store next door! Keep up the good work.

Warning !!I I have been a customer of the Skowhegan Hannaford for some 12 years always great service and quality products albeit a little expensive. On the 13th July 2022 I purchased a packet of GNOCCHI from the refrigerated  section to try out ( Taste of Inspirations, CLASSIC skillet Gnocchi). Excited to try this out I cut open the package and poured the contents into a skillet. As I was about to cook the Gnocchi I noticed some discoloration on the product and upon further inspection saw that some gnocchi was covered with both grey and black mold ( see photo). I reported this to Hannaford head office and to the distributors ( ADUSA) with zero response after 48 hours. A call to the store manager today was received with some concern so I hope at least the product is removed from sale. I have included an image of  the bar code so as others may be warned

Great produce section most of the time. Prices could be lower on some items but quality is better than other similar businesses. Love this place!

It's a fine grocery store. Nothing all that special or exciting but it has everything you need. It was fast and easy to navigate.

Always great to grocery shop here. Very nice store with good customer service. Due to current economic/ political conditions the store shelves are not as well stocked as before. Similarly there is a lack of help so they do the best they can to service the customer. Patience is a must, and always remember it's not the staff that is waiting on you who caused this. They are the ones that make it happen under very stressful circumstances.

Great Employees that were quick at Checkout. The Coffee / Tea isle needs assistance as their were alot of Empty spots. Meat is Always Fresh and Well Stocked. Bathroom could also use some Attention as it wasn't the Cleanest. Overall I rate it a 3 Star Today.

For less than $20 got a freshly steamed lobster it was so good and worth every penny. Appreciate how friendly and polite the staff are. Will always come back here when visiting.

Good place. My go-to for food. Very few to no in-store ads, so it's a pleasant place to shop. Good deli. Not much hot food. Groceries are unfortunately kinda pricey, though.

If you are in the area, this is the place to go! Get some fresh, steamed lobster while you are at it. High quality, great value, and friendly service keeps me coming back each summer. Stock up before you head north!

Do yourself a favor, find something elseThey paid for the "best places to work" title without a doubt. They promote a toxic workplace by maintaining a "good old boy" network of disrespect , lazy, power abusing Management team of people particularly known for not taking accountability for their wrong doings or shirt comings.....intolerant and disrespectful....HR is cowardly and rotating by date is discouraged from the interview process.....

Very nice Hannaford, carries more variety than most others. Fresh produce was frozen and dieing though. Very difficult getting in and out of the parking lot.

Store and people working there are great. Yet I have to leave a negative review for the company. I am a foreign citizen. So when I came to the store to buy alcohol, I brought my passport. They refused to sell it to me on the grounds that they can only accept Canadian passports. That sounds like discrimination to me

Not a giant selection here. This store is not like Hannaford stores in the city, just a bit smaller. You'll find something here, but no fresh lychees. You can charge your car out front, that's a bonus!

Deli counter leaves much to be desired!When I visit, I frequent the deli counter. I don't understand why, but the employees do not like to acknowledge customers. I actually found it more effective to call the deli department from my mobile phone while standing 10 feet from the counter when I am looking to place an order.And even when I place an order with the deli, they don't even respect the order - they put my order out on a shelf for any customer to take! I don't even try much, anymore - it's easier to go next door to Walmart where they're much more responsive.

Been using curbside pickup, really helpful! I like being able to shop directly from the weekly sales flyer. Most items are in stock, good variety. Easy to use coupons & pick up is a breeze.update: they finally fixed their app! You can now purchase and pay directly from app. Raising review from 4 to 5 Stars for Skowhegan location.

I had a great experience at Skowhegan Hannaford This week, that I wanted to share. My two year old was in the cart. I was at the check out and he was starting to get tired and upset. An employee came over to him and started to talk to him and entertain him all the while I checked out. We made it out of the check out with no melt down, this guy rocks ! Most parents would understand that help in that moment is very appreciated.

This is a great grocery store. Everything is organized and easy to find. Also, if a cashier rings in an item incorrectly, you can go to the customer service desk, and they'll refund you your money, plus half of the cost of the item!

I always find everything i look for. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Some things are a bit more expensive but i enjoy going there and the reward program is great. I use the pharmacy also it's nice that they are friendly and know my name.

Worst deli ever!!! If you want sliced meat or cheeses I suggest going elsewhere. They ask how you want it sliced and then they do the direct opposite. If you ask for it sliced thin almost shaved and they show you a perfect slice then adjust it thicker? That's just rude!!!! Not sure if the employees in the deli are lazy and want to get away with not slicing it alot?I've complained multiple times. To the point of even returning stuff. Management doesn't do anything to correct their employees. Yes a refund or credit is ok, but fix the problem.Thankfully I have other options for stores to go to. They've lost my business. I'll spend $300 aweek elsewhere

I use the hannafords on the go and had a really great experience with that! The produce is always fresh and great looking! And I like the different plant-based foods that they now have! Staff is always friendly and willing to help out if you need to find something!

Easy layout and well organized makes finding mist things easy. They carry a good store brand that we prefer for many items. They also have a good rewards program too!
