This is my kind of place. You can find most needs including hot food, alcoholic beverages,tobacco products and snacks. They have videos, some fishing items, automotive needs and lots of other things.Inside is an area with four tables so you can sit and grab a quick bite. I was in close to lunch time and shared a table with a regular while 4 of us had an enjoyable conversation.They sell gas and at the best price I've seen in a couple weeks. The gas pumps look well maintained. It is old but clean. I'll stop again when passing by.

10/10 this country store! Going to this place my entire life, Tods seen me grow up hahaha.When I was a kid, I would walk-in say hi to Jack and go straight to the candy/ice cream isle. To this day their selection is still enormous they have all the fun candy/chip/ice cream brands.They even have hot food like hot dogs, burritos, chili/stew, coffee, and donuts/muffinsTo the entire staff they are lovely and very helpful when you have a question. I love the small town feeling for this storeTheir gas prices are average in Maine but sometimes it will go lower than normal which is always nice. They have regular, super and diesel. Also fill up propane tanks.Thank you Boonies!!!

We had a beautiful Airbnb in Shapleigh for three nights and went to Boonies for gas and groceries twice.It's a place like jumped out of an old movie, awesome!!!!

Reasonable country store in the "boonies". Gas is easy out front. Good selection of dry goods and drinks. Don't expect fresh meat or produce. Dark and intimidating (giant bear statue on porch) when you walk in, but the friendly and helpful staff makes up for it.

Most reliable gas station/convince store around. Usually one of the cheapest places to get gas as well. They sell a lot of household items if your in a pinch and some interesting things made by locals are also on display.

This gem is run by the friendliest guys around. There is a huge convenience selection inside with really reasonable prices, but there's also gas and propane... And birdhouses if you need gifts. 😊 As an added bonus, they keep tootsie rolls in the candy barrel.

I spent more time walking around in awe at the number of random items they sell than I did buying anything. We were on the search for a variety of local beers and some other food and drink items, but their selection was poor. However, if you're looking for a belt for a vacuum motor from 1968 I'm sure they have it. They even sold VHS movies. VHS!! Boonies is like a museum, hardware store, and convenience store all rolled into one. I didn't really find any quality food or drinks, but it's a sight to see for sure.

Here's the bottom line from a year round local... Boonies isn't your corner bodega. It is, however, the place where you can get anything and everything you need to enjoy life in the sticks. From camp, cabin, RV, ATV, snow machine, vehicle of any type, home repair items, basic foodstuffs, wine, beer, sandwiches, pet food, ice, propane, regular diesel, off-road diesel, gas, fishing and hunting supplies, local crafts and food, and yes, even VHS rentals for those who have them in their summer places on the lakes. Jack, John, and Todd go out of their way to take care of people, whether passing through or here year round. And if they don't have what you're looking for you probably don't need what you're looking for.

Gas there is all ways low than Sanford or the foot of mousam Lake trading place ! And they have any thing you need and tires for your car or trucks the eating of fast foods and hot foods with a place to set down and enjoy it Jack and Todd and John are very nice to help out with what you need ! Great place .
