Great place, beer and proprietors! Dog friendly - no longer filling growlers but offer a good variety of canned. Wood fired pizza stand on site smelled and looked amazing.

Outstanding beer and wood fired pizzas. My wife also had the dark and stormy, which was also very tasty. If you are in the area, visit one of Maine’s new breweries.

Stopped off for a delicious homemade pizza. It may have been one of the most unique, weird pizzas I've had, but in a good way. It had lemon slices on it with white sauce and artichokes and sausage. The lemon was a strange twist, but tasted pretty good on the delicious homemade crust. They were out of their own beer unfortunately, but the beer they had on draft was still tasty with the pizza.

First visit since the major remodel, and the place looks great! Lots of new parking, great patio with tables, as well as more casual patio furniture. There is also an indoor dining area with approximately 10 tables. We shared the prosciutto pesto pasta, and it was excellent. Not sure if the pasta is homemade, or if they have a local vendor, but it certainly didn't taste like dry pasta! As always the beers were also excellent. We did see a couple of pizzas come out of the oven, and they looked beautiful. The pizza oven is also pretty impressive, and no doubt crafted by local artisans. All in all, a great stop, especially after a hike up Blue Hill Mountain!

1st time visitor - Have had this place on my "Want to go" list for awhile. With COVID it makes things different but it was a nice find. Best middle-of-the-woods brewery I can think of...Not a ton of choices and of course it's all at social distances...no going inside, no growler fills, none of the camaraderie you'd expect at a brewery but still, good beer at decent prices.I'll be back when things return to normal.Oh, and the Gott lunch food truck had a tasty steak melt!

If you’re driving by Strong Brewing Co., then stop and have a taste! Far off the beaten path of the beer world, these ales embody the great local tastes of Maine in smart, creative, and well-crafted ales. Had the Finest Brine Gose, which skirted the too-much lime and lemon BS of hipster gose, and went right to the salty brininess of the local sea air in a very drinkable ale, showing just the right touches of tart and lemon. The Kaffee Weizen was a knockout! Not your standard coffee porter or stout, this ale smartly employs the dunkle weizen style for an iced-coffee inspired ale. Done in collaboration with a local coffee roaster, this ale loses nothing of it’s beer characteristic while delivering an easily drinkable ale showcasing iced coffee notes throughout.Local, simple, great beer, and friendly folks; this is beer drinking and beer culture dive right!

Great little brewery near Bluehill Maine. Perfect way to spend an afternoon outdoors with a craft beer. Helga the chicken is a great ambassador and makes you feel almost as welcome as the owners do. Definitely stop by if you’re in the neighborhood.

This place could be very good, the pizza certainly is. I can't speak for their beer since it was not available on our two visits. Luckily they do have very nice guest taps. The service is where this place falls short. It's a small place yet they insist on giving you those silly beepers. On our first visit, we were the only customers yet they still went through the self service motions (and beepers). To top off that visit, they gave me a hard time about my table bussing. I contaminated something somehow. We gave them one more visit and that's enough -very impersonal staff that seems to care less about customers. We won't be back.

Some seriously delicious beer. So glad I found this gem on my travels through Maine. I couldn’t tell you which beer was my favorite because they were all very good. Brewmaster is definitely an expert in his field.

Just driving through some of the most scenic areas of the country. What do we stumble upon. This place. Didn't stay long, but wish we could have. Tried a porter that was smooth, and nice body. Wish these were my neighbors.

PUTTING IN THE WORK.This establishment is great. Perhaps beyond great. They've been consistently putting in the work to improve. First it was the beer. Then the pavilion. Now a patio, an AMAZING brick oven (manned by the always-talented and phenomenal Capt. Pete, 5 stars for that alone) and an ever-expanding and improving food selection. The beer was already enough to go, but the food selection in itself is worth a trip. The business seems to be frequently updating their communication with customers across many platforms and keeping everyone informed of weekly specials, concerts, menu changes, and more. A terrific family-run business run by terrific folks. It'll be a regular stop in town from now on.

The best and freshest pizza, chicken wings, and beer I have ever had. I came to Maine from Wisconsin for the forest and the ocean, but I would come back again just to eat here. Simple and delicious food, and very nice people that run the place. Don’t miss out.

Our group of 6 really enjoyed the pizzas and wings! Beer choices were Soul Patch and Saizon and everyone enjoyed! If you are vegan they even have a vegan pizza. Vegan cheese with roasted peppers, onions and mushrooms. We sat out under the space heater which kept us comfortable.

The beer is good that we visited twice during our stay in the area. Beer is served through a hole in the wall and they accept CC. We had the lager and the sour. All seating is outdoors although some is covered by an open barn roof - so don't let rain put you off. If you need soft drinks you have to rely on the food trucks (some days only) which, btw, do really good wood fired pizza! If you're in the area, we recommend.

Great atmosphere and drinks! Didn't eat but it all looked great. Only downer is that they weren't selling beer to go due to not enough because it's been super popular this summer. It's an atmosphere that isn't anywhere else around (in a good way)

It's a great place to grab a beer or flight, great large post and beam covered drinking and eating (when the food truck is there) area as well as picnic tables. I didn't love the beer but that's partly a matter of personal taste. I love the environment and the fact that the beer is brewed locally

Very good beers! We tried the flights that had a sampling of their 5 brews. They now have an outdoor pavilion (post and beam construction) with outdoor music. Also a food vendor (Eat at Joe's) with some tasty pub style food. Friendly owners.

It appeared that we were inconveniencing the owner when we stopped here, customer service was lacking, a smile and “welcome” would have been more appropriate!! He was unfriendly, so different than all other places we visited in Maine. And to top it off, the beer was undesirable. I wouldn’t recommend this place, other local businesses are much more appreciative of customers patronage.

One of the best small breweries I've been to across the nation. Great beer, friendly staff and a beautiful quaint location in rural Maine. I wish them nothing but the best moving forward!

Undeniable quality. Some of this stuff will rattle your cage (be near your hammock if you're not a seasoned drinkster) and the food, tunes, chickens and profound lack of vehicular traffic are all just sweet bonuses.

Friendly family run brewery. Tasty beer and a nice outdoor pavilion for live music. Food truck parked out front so you can grab a bite to eat while enjoying your beer

We love the small breweries and this was no dissapointment. Tried all of their brews and the Double IPA came away with us in a growler which is gone now. Would for sure come back again next time in this area. Keep up the good work and thank you. All 5 beers were very good.
