It seems that their service from service years ago has declined. Not the place I once remember. After ordering a peanut butter sundae and getting the wrong sundae made for me I found out that the party behind me never got their order at all. also the flurry machine was broken. Seems like staff needs better training or more attentiveness and the place needs some maintenance.

Showed up 30 min after closing and they opened back up to help us since we drove over 45 min to get to them even know they were completely closed and all cleaned up. Amazing customer service. Strongly recommend. Coming from a small business owner myself I liked to see employees who cared.

The staff is great and the portions are huge. Each scoop of ice cream is like the size of a softball! Highly recommend! Like most of these dairy bars they said they're starting food Father's Day. Looking forward to seafood!

Friendly staff. Grew up in Sebago and went here often when owned by Eddie Richards. Food could not be beat back then (70s and 80s). Met a friend of the family from way back when. Enjoyed showing my family around town. Lots of memories.

This place has awesome food burgers are great and I just tried a lobster roll and was blown away. Just enough mayo and mouth watering. I've been to a few other actual seafood restaurants and had a lobster roll and been very disappointed. So definitely try Richards

Very disappointed for the amount of ice cream you get for the money. The kids working the counter were not eager to take or fulfill your order and although it wasn't busy, we still had to wait an excessive amount of time. There were 3 kids standing in the front talking while only one was fulfilling orders.

Very friendly staff serving Gifford’s quality hand dipped ice cream on the west side of Sebago Lake. Will have to stop again to get my aunt’s and wife’s favorite - soft serve.

Uses Giffords ice cream. Enough said. The really good ice cream places make their own. Food is okay. Nothing to write home about.

Oh.my.goodness!!! So great!Stopped in one night this past summer and wow! What an amazing spot! AMAZING ice cream!! Great service, great atmosphere, great prices- and for enormous portions! And was totally surprised by the extent of their menu! Definitely not just ice cream- can’t wait to try some of their other menu items next summer. Will be a regular for sure!

Stopped in for a quick milkshake and it was tasty. I was a little confused by the price I was charged as they added on an extra $2 to my bill for something. When I asked if that was right the young girl told me it was but 2 milkshakes @4.95 each don’t come up to over $13.... just saying. Was tasty though I was just irritated about being overcharged & not told what the fee was for.

I ordered a small which is 1 and 1/2 scopes.. the girl gave about 7 AND none of them where the flavor I asked for.. she was shaking so bad I just took it

Had the shrimp basket, the food was really good and reasonably priced. The fried shrimp were nice and light, not heavy or greasy. I also had an Oreo Nor’easter (their version of a flurry). It was good, but the price point was obscenely high at over $7. Most flurries I’ve seen are in the $4.50-$5 range.

Inexcusably poor customer service and overall-all poor management as of 2023. No simple accommodations to customizing an ice cream order, uneducated and disrespectful staff, miss management of customers payment, offensive communication when addressing concerns. Humiliating and regretful that I tried to show the new business off to my company. Local NOT approved any longer. Sorry, not sorry.

The staff was super friendly but the food was not so good. The only thing we really liked were the chicken fingers. They were moist, not tough and flavorful. The onion rings were more breading then onion. The fried clams were a little tough, small, and had a ton of breading as well. Their flavor was good though. Also ordered an Italian sub that was not great. The roll was torn through at the bottom so everything fell out. I think the roll was a little old. And their was barely anything in it. We will go back for the ice cream but not for the food.

For first year open ... they did great. Yes they need more staff . BUT THEY ARE NEW .Looking forward to a new year.Every time we ate there is was delicious. Ice cream treats are huge.See you soon.

I'm leaving one star because like another reviewer, I was charged a hidden fee as well. Very sketchyFood wise, shakes are a bit spendy for what you get, fries were good. There are 2 prices for shakes, one under hard serve one under soft, I wasn't asked which when I ordered but I think I received the hard serve, and was charged it too.

Went there for fried clams. Even asked person taking the order, "How much for the whole fried clams?" Person taking order said the price. We ordered 2 platters. What we got was 2 platters of mushy things that were rounds. Called to tell them that's not what we ordered and that's when they told us they don't have whole fried clams, only clam cakes...more like fried stuffed filling, that's mushy.1. Why weren't we told when we told , "we don't carry those anymore"? 2. Didn't care for the fried clams cakes. Cakes were too mushy and clams were too rugged.Will be going elsewhere. I have been going there for 32yrs.

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat with my family, not anymore. I went here with my two siblings today and we all regretted going. The cheeseburgers were extremely overcooked and tough to chew, onion rings were undercooked, and the bread rolls were cold and dense. The French fries were the only decent part of our meals. The worst part of the experience however was when we ordered our ice cream. My brothers vanilla frappe was the only one that came out alright, my sister also got a vanilla frappe which ended up being mostly milk, and pure liquid. Mine however was the worst. I ordered chocolate soft serve, something pretty simple and ended up being served spoilt ice cream. It smelt rotten and tasted very sour, of everything bad about our experience today, serving a pregnant woman spoilt ice cream had to be the worst.

Nothing fancy, order at the counter and sit indoors or outdoors. Was a little slow but service was great. I had a large party and they help me bring trays out to the table. Had an issue with a fish taco and dairy intolerance, they rectified the conflict with no issues but I would not suggest the fish taco for anyone who does not do dairy.

This place is awesome if you like fried fish and ice cream. It even has fried pickles. Lots of flavors of “giffords” ice cream in generous potions. Think of it as a "clam shack/ice cream stand" with picnic tables to eat at outside.

Excellent service and food. Stopped here one night while camping locally. We had food and ice cream for dessert. Very nice outside seating and plenty of parking.
