I love this place! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff are nice. The head chef is originally from Virginia so the dishes are southern inspired but still have the amazing seafood. The head chef also come out to deliver your food sometimes and usually come to your table to make sure everything is good. :) Even though the food is more upscale than what's around, it doesn't take away from the feeling of a nice local cozy restaurant that you can go to with family!Parking: There are 2 chargers for electric cars :) 👍

Top notch service, great staff with incredibly tasty food. The crispy duck hash was delish as well as everything else we had.The loaded Bloody Mary was loaded with homemade pickles, jumbo shrimp, three fried oysters, pickled asparagus spears and was a great treat this Father's day.5 star, highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed a delightful dinner at Rio's last week. The atmosphere was beautiful and included smaller, private sections for seating. The wait staff was super (thank you, Sonia!) and attentive. Best of all, the was absolutely delicious! We would definitely highly recommend! We will be going back for sure.Parking: There was plenty of parking.

Sunday brunch was delicious at Rio Cafe! I had the French toast that came with plenty of fruit sauce, you don’t even need the extra syrup and my husband had eggs over duck hash, he loved it. Staff was friendly and pleasant, the chef offered me extra quince jam for my French toast, my favorite! We will definitely go back and we can’t wait to try their dinner options.

Delicious. I went for brunch with my kids, husband, and parents, and we all left full. I had probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. The palomas were amazing. My one complaint was that they were out of the croque madame when I was there, and I had basically planned to go there for that specifically. Apparently, it's good because they had just run out when I was ready to order. My husband had the spiced duck hash and said it was one of the best duck meals he'd ever had. The staff was amazing, even entertaining my 4 year old son. We're actually going back on Thursday because it's burger night!Edited: we went back. My parents enjoyed the burger, but since it was a cod burger, I didn't get one. The only disappointment was that the Rios Burger wasn't on the menu on burger night. The pork chop i ordered more than made up for it. It was HUGE and very very good. The Old Fashioned was superb. The maple syrup in lieu of simple syrup added a deliciously unexpected smokiness.Kudos to Chef Cooper for this unexpected gem in one of my favorite places to be. My daughter even asked to sew him so she could tell him how great the food was. We will be back next year!!Dietary restrictions: My husband can't have dairy and they were extremely accommodating.

What a wonderful experience! Three of us went for Sunday brunch and we tried so much food, and drink! The mimosas and Bloody Mary were to die for, but the Rios Cappuccino was the best!Food? So delicious. We especially loved the Croque Madame and the “home fries” with caramelized onions. The staff and atmosphere were so kind, welcoming and attentive. Our only suggestion would be a mimosa flight, we would have loved to tried all three flavors! But 10/10 would recommend.Thank you Rio’s for a wonderful brunch!

Food is average at best. We went before they abruptly closed. The entire staff always seemed frazzled which made the experience less enjoyable…..especially when you could see the owner or manager maybe? Walking around doing nothing to help them out. From my years of experience in the restaurant industry I can say, if you don’t treat the staff, the backbone of your establishment properly……you won’t make it to above average. I’m honestly surprised to see them reopening.

We live a mile away but have never paused to visit. Stepped in one cold night this week to sit at the bar and give Rios a fair shake. It far exceeded expectations. I was immediately welcomed by John with engaging and interesting conversation as well as a cold beer. Ordered some awesome Morrocan inspired wings and a made to order burger. Both were 5/5. Russell and Chef both made an effort to introduce themselves and welcome me. It felt like an extension of home. Well done - see you again soon!

Amazing Brunch! One of the best I’ve had, duck hash is full of flavor and great portions. Pancakes were some of the best around. You will not be disappointed! Worth the drive for the best food!

Food was very good. Server was pleasant and prompted. I would have not been over charged for modifying a menu item instead of ordering alacart like my husband did. But telling me I had to pay more for prep, and I've worked in a kitchen, does not mean over charge people. Other than serving our eggs differently and me getting biscuits? If you want repeat customers listen and change.

Rio's came highly recommended from a local B&B and wow they did not disappoint. Our first experience was dinner late on Friday night. My wife and I started with the beef tartar which was incredibly fresh with delicious herbs and a sauce that reminded me of pumpernickel. My wife went with the NY strip and myself the half chicken. I normally do not order chicken while out to eat but I am so thankful that I did. It was cooked perfectly and the seasoning had so much depth that the last bite was just as exciting as the first. The giant half chicken sat on top of a king sized bed of seasonal mushrooms and artichoke hearts with an abundance of sauce that I couldn't get enough of. The steak was plated beautifully and came with roasted seasonal veggies. We were both more than full but enjoyed our meals so much that we needed to try dessert. We opted for the lighter chocolate mousse. Light, Rich and covered with cherries, shaved macadamia and fresh basil. Best I have ever had. I would have taken more photos but I was so excited to eat the food that it slipped my mind. The staff is very friendly and the dining room is filled with beautiful river style tables and triumphant double sided fireplace. Rio's Spiked Cafe needs to be the top of your dining list if you're in the area. Hands down one of my most memorable meals.Parking: Plentiful parking very close to the restaurant. well lit at night.

We were excited to give Rio's a try. The service and atmosphere are top notch. I wish the food was a match. Nothing terrible but I'd say the theme for our party of four was over sauced and flavored. For instance, I had the burger. Under the gravy and cheese, it was difficult to find the patty (advertised as 1/2 lb). Same held true for the wings - way too much going on between the coating and dipping sauce.

Our meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Octopus was tender and well spiced, scallops large and succulent. We had 2 small plates that were generous so wanted to share the monkfish large plate. The kitchen divided the dish into two beautifully presented portions. Great wine list and the wine glasses were beautiful!Excellent food and lovely atmosphere. Rio’s will be a regular for us.

So we went in as a party of five. Ordered some Prosecco wine. The second bottle of wine we received was not what we ordered. She actually brought us the house bottle of Malbec, which was called Linda and we ordered the Pinot noir, which was much more money than the house. We didn’t really complain because she had already opened it before I got to the table, the steaks were great. All the appetizers were delicious. The sunchokes were a little bit over cooked in the sauce was way too spicy for me personally but everybody else liked it. The cod cakes definitely need some work. Very salty and chewy. Scallops were delicious.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options

Amazing chef, service was stellar, our server timed our choices out perfectly. Outdoor seating was lovely. Really enjoyed cocktail special, it was really refreshing. Food was fabulous. Definitely returning to try more of the features on their menu. Beautiful indoor dinning area with fireplace so winter dinner is in the queue. Joann

Extraordinary attention to detail, in the atmosphere and ambience as well as the food. The hummus was unique and delicious. The "small plate" was very generously sized. More than enough for two people. We went on burger night which was a high quality 8oz burger with cheese, sauerkraut, and secret sauce. It was wonderful and served with an abundant supply of seasoned handcut fries. Bartender was extremely personable and added to the experience. We'll be back.

We stopped in Saturday evening for dinner. (4/22/23). The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The strip steak and pork chop were cooked to perfection. Dessert and coffee capped off a very nice dinner experience. Our thanks to all who worked Saturday night.

We made a reservation for 4 on a Saturday night, after checking wheelchair accessibility and gluten free options with an email. Quick response within an hour of emailing. Here for a reunion and birthday dinner. Read the review in Downeast and willing to suspend judgement about decor as mentioned by another reviewer. It is ambience in the making. Frites, charcuterie, 2 pappardelle pasta, 1 duo chicken and 1 pork chop with cous cous subbed for potatoes.Limited menu on paper which was fine with us. Wine and cocktail list was good. The charcuterie came promptly. Cheeses and spread items were a big hit. Toasts were extremely hard and meats were tuff. Frites were loaded with grated cheese which was delicious but there was way too much of it.Pork was cooked beautifully as was the duo chicken. The pesto pasta dishes were a little bitter. Whether that was too much raw garlic or what, we could not say. There was more edamame than there was pasta and the mushrooms were tough. The waitstaff were attentive, and about half the tables were filled. With many staff shortages, perhaps that was the reason for a meal we wished had been great but was inconsistent from plate to plate.Overall, we had a great time and we'll look to return for the burgers next time.Dietary restrictions: Gluten sensitivity. No worries for cross contamination but we did sub out cous cous for potatoes.Wheelchair accessibility: Fantastic! After emailing before making the reservation, we checked in about entrance for a wheelchair. Wide enough and no step up. Worked out great!
