Unreal, gorgeous spot to sit on the rocks and listen to the ocean waves. Really breathtaking. Kept finding ourselves coming back multiple times during our trip. Wish I brought my medal detector!

Great place to go. Trail was by shore. Very easy walk for mom, who uses a walking stick. Benches line the trail. Noticed plenty of picnic tables and playground for kids. Had nice bathrooms. Not the biggest state park but it has a lot to offer. I feel it's really underrated. If in the area I would recommend you stop by.Playground: Swings and slides. Kids will have fun.Picnic area: Tons of picnic tables in open area near playground and a few at beginning of trail.

Such a beautiful and well maintained park! All you need from restroom, and picnic table to kids’ playground and trail walk, is there! $4 for non-ME adult entry fee!

Beautiful park! There are lots of picnics tables and grills, as well as a large grassy area to relax or play on. There are stairs down to a rocky beach that is nice to walk on. The trails are well maintained and flat making for an easy walk through the woods. There are benches along the trail with nice sea views.

Great place to see the ocean and see wilderness, I seen a nice big eagle and and watched a harbor porpoise swim across the water for couple hundred feet watching his back keep coming up out of the water. Great place to take everyone in the family! Watched eagles dodge for fish in the water and they kept making calls to other eagles before they flew. Nice place to visit!

This place has everything you could want for an afternoon of family fun. Grilling stations, beach front, trails to walk on and fields for Frisbee, softball or whatever you and yours are into! Plenty of parking and we'll landscaped! Not to mention the views anytime of day are beautiful along with breathtaking sunsets!

Beach is very rocky and kind of hard to walk on. Not for those who are unstable on their feet. There are some cool tide pool areas to check out though.

Probably one of my favorite ocean side parks in Maine. Plenty of parking usually and plenty of room for picnics and day excursions.

What a beautiful park! Although it's not open yet, we were able to walk around and enjoy it. Its wide open, lots of picnic tables, a small gazebo and a larger covered space for a small group.

Small but lovely and well-maintained park with rocky beaches, loads of seaweed, and some tidepools at low tide that have some small crabs, plenty of snails, and a few tiny fish Nice trail around the perimeter with excellent views of the bay. Plenty of picnicking areas as well A little pricey in my opinion ($4/adult for non-residents) but not ridiculously so.

Well worth the $5 parking fee. Water views everywhere. There are a number of picnic tables and grills to help you enjoy your stay. They close at 7, so leave enough time to enjoy the ocean breeze.

Beautiful, tranquil place. Easy walk through pine woods, plenty of benches to admire magnificent Penobscot Bay. Picnic areas. Kids love looking for treasures from the sea in the tide pool accessible at low tide. A quintessential Maine experience.

Such a beautiful state park! It is great to feel the coastal breeze and smelling the mix of salt water and pine trees while hiking their paths. The hikes are very easy, and there are many picnic tables to enjoy your lunch while looking out on the water.

I stopped here for a quick rest from driving, and I walked along the rocky shores. Plenty of parking, and easy short hiking. Nice place.

Small well maintained park and rocky shore. Trails are beautiful and easy to access. The beach is too rocky for a day to lounge or swim.

Terrific little state park, with nice wooded trails up to the coastline, and several access points to the rocky shoreline for low tide strolls. Plenty of open space for picnics and lots of barbecue points. Perfect place for year round walks with the family and dogs
