I purchased two special order cakes in the past couple months and the bakery did an outstanding job. One of the cakes was an 8" vanilla cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting for my friends' spur of the moment wedding. I was only able to give the bakery less than 24 hours notice and they pulled it off magnificently! The other was a 6" birthday cake for my mom in one of her favorite flavors: mocha. I gave them some general ideas of what I wanted for decorations, but let them have artistic license and both cakes came out so beautifully. Everyone at the wedding was dying over how good the cake was and asking where it came from. Thank you guys so much for doing such a great job.

I love this place! Best quality foods, wines, brews and beautiful household gifts. Just got groceries and said to the lovely cashier lady that if they had coffee and seating I'd just chill with a cuppa. She said 'we do', whaaa?!!So, now I am enjoying my coffee and listening to some awesome vintage rock played at just the right volume.I think I wanna work here the vibe is wonderful.

I've driven by a thousand times and always wondered what it was like. I finally went in today to check it out.I was impressed by the variety of things. I really didn't need anything but ended buying a couple of produce items that I have never seen in a "regular" grocery store.The butcher shop looked pretty amazing and the bakery items had me very tempted. I'm glad I finally went in and plan on returning soon. I've tried both the butcher shop, fish, and Bakery all were very good. Still the same. The prepared salads in the deli have been good.

Found this place a couple of years ago on business trip. Drove up today from NH for long weekend. Amazing selection of high quality produce, sandwiches, pastries, seafood, snacks, and cooking ingredients! Kind of a blend between Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Taste Unlimited stores in VA Beach. Amazing. Prices higher but you get what you pay for! Highly recommend!

The store is amazing. I would probably shop there every day if it was closer to me. It is only 20 minutes away, though. They have all my favorite appetizer foods as well as incredible meats and cheeses.

Oh my goodness!! I love this place! Fresh produce and in store baked desserts, I had to get Not one but Two desserts! lol, oh my. I started out good with only chili and a sweet potato and then it was over as soon as I saw the dessert display. I told the workers to restrict me to once a week lol🤣

I bought a Cowboy Cut from the butchers counter. It was 1.97lb and had marbling that made real marble look like sandstone. Salted the night before with a coarse seaweed salt and then peppered and seared in cast iron for 4 minutes on each side (don't forget those edges) then let it rest for 10 minutes. When I tell you this was the best steak I've ever had, hand to God, this is the best steak I've ever had. I can't stress this enough, BUY YOUR MEAT HERE.

I already love the store and their deli/bakery/grocery options, so when I ordered a birthday cake from them for my sister's 30th I had pretty high expectations. From the start, communication was easy and regular. That was immediately a plus. Then there was the ordering process, again so easy and smooth. They listened to what Iwanted and let me send in pictures They made the cake to my exact specifications and it was soooo good! It was a huge hit and hardly any was left afterward, which says a lot because it was a massive cake! Also the value for something so beautiful and delicious could not be beat! Under $80! I highly recommend OTV for anything you need!

Visiting Scarborough at a near by RV park, driving by noticed On The Vine Market. My wife who enjoys quality meats decided to visit the meat depot. She bought chuck roast for stew, meat was unbelievably tender, full of flavor. Also purchased the bone in extra thick pork chop, cooked with a dry rub and placed in air fryer for 14min. OMG we both said the best pork chop we ever had!! Pork chops had little veins of marble, the juiciest awesome piece of meat! Was planning to make a meat loaf, noticed they offered already made loaf. Another OMG experience, very tasty with little fat residue. One last purchase was the ham hocks for split pea soup, fantastic. Oh, also the chicken wings were good quality as well. We left Scarborough before cooking all the meat purchases. Biggest regret, should have bought a load of meats to put in the freezer. Local shoppers are so fortunate to have such a wonderful place to buy meat. The butcher who assisted us also gave an awesome customer experience!

Prices are reasonable for what you get. We Bought some 93-7 ground beef made in house. It looks delicious. They said they use high quality trimmings of the steaks and meat they butcher. The steaks looked delicious.The fish is a little less expensive then the fish market down the street.

I expected to find local strawberries on June 21 and I did not. The hot sauce section was also pretty poor. Other than that, it’s a standard small grocery store. Not what I expected, based on the name, location and beautiful building.

The best marketplace around. I probably go here 4-5 times a week. Great meat selections, great sides, GOOD food and a clean and very good salad bar. Portions are more than generous and very cost friendly. HIGHLY recommend checking out On The Vine when you are in the area of Scarborough! Thanks OTV for the great catering and food as always!!

On The Vine is great for everything. Their food and selection is fresh, upscale and diverse. It is a great spot to grab a sandwich before the beach, hit the butcher before a party, get some party sized platters and prepared foods for bigger gatherings and a great beer/wine selection upstairs for any occasion! Their upscale small business does certainly come at a price— it’s expensive but very much worth it. I don’t do my regular grocery shopping there, but I’ll stop in to get a few select goods to prepare a nice dinner or when I have company coming over. They have plenty of off street parking and their staff is helpful and kind. I would highly recommend On The Vine Marketplace!

The Quality produce and other pantry items they carry are amazing. The deli case with ready made side items and entrées are delicious with a constant rotating variety. I frequent On the Vine and I happened to be there today- you will not find better service anywhere. The staff goes out of their way to help you. I was asked at least 3 times if I needed help finding anything starting from produce all the way back to the meat department. You are made to feel welcome and valued as a customer. And I'm not done... The bakery is second to none their cupcakes are actual Art. My son's first birthday is this weekend and they are making a large assortment for us- we are EXCITED. Valerie was even kind enough to take a last min addition to our order today. Thank you so much for being awesome!!

This place is so good- we got some local wine and steak for Father’s Day. The steak was so good that my almost two year old saw it on our plates and went nuts. It was so tender we were able to give him very small pieces and we all loved it. These are the places to support !

We loved this place! They are a bigger, better Trader Joe's with lots of local produce, baked good and other food sourced locally. They have a very large selection of things. It's just a very cool space.
