Honest review worst pharmacy ever. Blow your phone up all day. Then you get there sit in line while 5 employees are behind the counter everyone is useless. You’ll wait 25 minutes while they are texting and chatting to even realize you’re standing there. Pure laziness. Management needs to get this pharmacy together. Rude staff !! Like hey let’s all stand around and see witch wallgreens employee feels like helping someone horrible pharmacy. Get it together!!!!!!! It’s called work for a reason. Totally disgusted

I called yesterday to try to make sure a prescription was ready to be picked up first thing in the morning today. When I called at 10:03, 3 mins after they opened, today the woman who answered the phone was already aware of the situation, I didn’t even have to give my name and she told me the pharmacist David had it on his mind before he walked in the door. He was already working on filling it within minutes of opening.. Its great to see people put in that kind of care to meet 1 persons specific needs even when they have a lot of other things going on. So I’d like to give a shout out to the pharmacy employees at Sanford Walgreens for their dedication and support. Thank you!!

I have used this pharmacy for the last time. I've had to wait much longer than promised for my prescriptions, even when I call ahead to check and come at the time they state (usually later). I put in an order for a refill yesterday. The app stated it wouldn't be ready until 6p tonight, when I checked before I drove over, it was listed as "cancelled" on the app. So I called. After 25 minutes of the message telling me that the staff was busy with other customers and was in the que after 2 other customers (still at 25 minutes), I gave up. I will be taking my business else where. I can be patient, but enough is enough.

Pharmacy is very fast. They have a new pharmacist that I've noticed. Normally wait times are 15-30 minutes. Great toy isle and can pick up the essentials like bread and breakfast items. Price's of their food is moderate. But still cheaper than Roger's market.

some of the staff take their personal issues into work and purposely avoid the customer or their phone calls. I called the pharmacy and waited on hold for 45 minutes with the "2 callers ahead of you" another 30 minutes later there was no longer 2 callers ahead and I got the automated "staff is answering other calls , please hold on and we will be with you shortly" I have had a staff member tell me someone there knows my number and purposely avoids my phone number. all 3 of my kids have prescriptions that need to be filled in a timely manner and they just aren't very good at that. unimpressed.

Today i had a prescription for erythromycin called in for my daughter at 915AM, I had never gone here before but figured I’d switch my pharmacy to here since I just moved locally, it is now 06:50PM the prescription is still not filled and when I called and inquired was just told it isn’t filled yet, so I asked for the prescription to be sent to another pharmacy and they said they can’t do that and hung up the phone. No apology, no offer to fill it, not even a goodbye. Nothing. So tomorrow I will have to go to my regular pharmacy and have them try to call and get this simple eye ointment transferred there. Definitely should’ve just stuck with where I normally go, don’t give this place a chance, I would be fine with the wait if the customer service didn’t leave so much to be desired. I’m glad I could squeeze my daughter into the doctors today, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon she will get the prescription recommended she start today by her physician.

I have visited here often. The employees are usually friendly and helpful. Their office supplies / stationary selection is a bit small, however I understand the size of the store is smaller compared to big box stores that have a greater selection. The wine is somewhat pricey, however the cooler selection is more vast than other pharmacies. I have experienced some slow service due to a new employee. Mostly I have had a decent experience and think their store brand is good quality and compares with name brand products.Thanks to anyone working today during the pandemic!!

This review pertains ONLY to the pharmacy tech I dealt with today. I had scheduled an additional covid shot on the strong advice of my doctor due to being immunocompromised. I approved the counter and said the very same thing. Her reply in a very aggressive time was "well you're not 65!" Yeah I know how old I am. I repeated my doctor has sent my here for an additional shot due to being immunocompromised. To witch I got well it hasn't been 6 months so it's against the law. Ok so here she was partially correct. The booster is only available to healthy people after 6 months for people such as myself it's 28 days. If I know this and was able to find this info in less than 5 minutes how does someone working at a pharmacy not know this? That was frustrating but the horrible attitude I got from her from the very start was the most upsetting. I wonder how many people she has sent away because of her lack of knowledge or ability to listen???

Very rude phone conversation. I called to see if they had a Covid home test kit and she said you need to go to our app. I asked if they had them on the shelf and she said "we are not doing your shopping for you" and don't come in here if you have symptoms. She was completely rude. I wish I could give a negative star. The most arrogant person I ever spoke to.. Update... I talked to the manager and he said he would look into this. I said if you address this issue, I would remove this one star review. He apparently don't care. I never heard from him. I will never go there again and my review will remain.

Great staff, everyone is very friendly. Though I never have prescriptions to fill the pharmacist is always happy to answer any questions I might have. Some of their prices can be a little high and some of them very very reasonable. It pays to shop their circular and pay attention to their points program. I love this store and recommend you stop in.

Very poor service from Pharmacy staff, very rude. They act like customers are a problem, well sorry people if it wasn’t for customers using Walgreens service than it wouldn’t exist. I was treated very poorly and as I waited I watched others being treated the same. After an hour wait that was supposed to be 10 to 15 mins I asked what was going on and they basically told me if I’m not happy than go some where, so that is what I am doing now. I have been using Walgreens pharmacy for at least the last 15 years and 4 years this particular location.

I am unsure ifnit is normal practice or not. I had a prescription sent in by my doctor, a timely prescription, and due to Walgreens not having my current insurance they didn't even fill the prescription and get my current information when I picked up?!? Also, if it is normal practice to not fill a prescription at all until you have current insurance information (what happens if you do not have insurance?), then why didn't I receive even one call automated or otherwise telling me there was an issue?

Ive had a few experiences when they haven't had my birth control ready, and this instance they don't have my anti-biotic ready, and I've been waiting awhile for them, I feel awful and completely sick and terrible, and it's hard to walk without feeling weak. Some medicines should be in stock even if no patients or cus tomes have needed them yet, because stuff like this would happen, the last time I wasn't able to get anti-biotics right away I could have died, my temp was 104 (this was before all the Corona stuff.) And my brain almost boiled in my skull.

Absolutely abysmal service... it takes 2 days to put 8 covid tests in a bag and charge it to insurance? Not a supply issue have plenty in stock not a labor shortage with 4 people behind the counter absolutely rediculous.

Tried to prescription transfered here From Rochester. Would not fill or try to help me get prescription filled. Had to wait for it to come in at Rochester (was out of stock). Pharmacy tech was very rude, had to wait ten minutes before asking if I needed anything with no other customers nearby.

I was a die-hard Rite-Aid fan until the new Walgreens got up to speed. They're open early, which is great when the kids need last minute stuff right before school. The store is clean, bright, clean, and the customer service people are very helpful And it's clean. Did I mention the store is clean?! The pharmacist came around the counter to help me, which is nice. It's close by and easily accessible even though you get to it from 202. The prices are pretty good and they also carry promotional Sanford garb. I'm still loyal to Rite-Aid, and Hannaford still gets our scripts, but Walgreens gets a share of my greenbacks, for sure!

I had made an appointment through their online system for the covid-19 vaccine. The appointment was at 3:30. It took them 40min to check me into the computer. After filling out the required paperwork they told me I would have to wait an additional 30min before recieving the shot. No explanation was given as to why.

I found this place to get my prescriptions thru my D.r.s Now that I've taken my Dr.s advice to check this establishment out. I get great discounts not only on my medications. But, everything else I shop forThey have great sales all the time. I have a new phatmavu as well as a new place to shop. Thnk u so much for ur awesome care towards me as ur new customer for life. Get your "rapid" covid test somewhere else. Their website claims results within 1 hour but it actually takes up to 2 days. When I called for answers, it took forever to get through to a person and she was quite condescending when questioned about why their website time frame is so misleading

I don’t use Walgreens for the pharmacy aspect, but the staff in charge of the store and checkout side are typically very nice and helpful :) The main reason I’m reviewing is to apologize for accidentally leaving my Dunkin drink in one of the display shelves in the pharmacy section 😭😭 I’m sorry I hate it when other people do that and never thought I would cjdjcjsjc

DO NOT USE THE WALGREEN'S PASSPORT PHOTO APP. The photos are approved on the app and then come out completely distorted and chopped when printed in-store. A complete waste of time.

No matter how many times we have had a doctor call in a script. At least 1/2 the time if not more often they “can’t find it, the doctor didn’t send it.” Completely unacceptable

This is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever had the unfortunate luck to experience. I spent nearly 45 minutes in line without moving up a single spot. Go anywhere else. Theres a Walgreens a couple miles down the street. Please. Go anywhere but this place if you have any respect for your time.
