Very stretchy ice cream, which was a fun texture I don't often experience. They have a lot of flavors to offer, and all the ones I tried were very good. I especially recommend the white chocolate raspberry truffle.

I'm an ice cream lover, and this place was there as I was traveling. I had a maple walnut in a waffle cone. Delicious hard serve ice cream! It satisfied my craving!

Something is wrong this year. The quality has been cut in a major way. I've had ice in one half gallon, an large air pocket in another, and the Oreo ice cream is basically just vanilla now; hardly any cookies at all. Sad to say if this is the direction they're going I won't be back. I've been a customer for 28 years.The BBQ remains mediocre and expensive.--OLD--Amazing ice cream -- that's the real reason to come here. It's expensive but worth it.Indoor seating is very limited but outdoors is a large field with more than enough room. Lots of flowers make for a lovely atmosphere.If you come for the BBQ you'll probably be disappointed, but isn't so bad as to avoid completely. This is an ice cream place though, first and foremost.

I find Shaws ridge ice cream to be creamer than the other local ice cream makers. I especially love their Black Raspberry and Coffee ice cream. Plus if you like flowers they have a great flower garden to walk through and a play ground for the kids for them to burn off energy while enjoying your treat. There are also many picnic tables to sit at in the shade. It's a great place to just enjoy.

The girls are super sweet! Lots of ice cream flavors to choose from! My daughter wasn't as adventurous for flavor choice, she got chocolate. I decided to give their caramel cashew a try and it was amazing! We both got waffle cones, and regular size. I would say with all of what I got vs what I paid was pretty decent, and expected. I would totally go back again and try some other flavors!

Hands down, Shaw's Ridge Farm has some of the best homemade ice cream in York County, Maine. Definitely try Coal Dust ... coffee with gigantic chocolate chip!

Homemade BBQ, homemade Ice Cream, and topnotch mini-golf; it doesn't get better than this! Give the pulled pork a go, with the Carolina sauce; the corn bread is a bit dry - would like to see that change. Then follow it up with a taste of the Cashew Carmel ice cream! Wrap up the day with 18 holes of scenic and well laid mini golf holes that is more fun than the chain mini-golf spots. Oh, and head back for a double chocolate chip ice-cream after you win. You deserved it! ⛳

There is a wide variety of ice cream flavors but the quality was nothing to write home about. Prices for the ice cream were high. We live in the Baltimore / Washington DC area so we know what expensive looks like. This place was expensive for what you get.The BBQ was disappointing. While the meats (chicken and pork) were nice and moist the portions for the price were very small. Or maybe a better way to put it, the portion sizes for lunch were reasonable. The price for lunch was very high. $30 for two lunches with 1 meat and 2 sides each.The house BBQ sauce was runny as water and tasted mostly like vinegar. My son likened it to vinaigrette salad dressing without much flavor. The only other choice for sauce was Sweet Baby Rays. While I like SBR, one of the best things about BBQ restaurants is the opportunity to try new BBQ sauces. Big disappointment here.The baked beans were not much different from what you get straight out of the can. Every other BBQ place I have been to has beans that are prepared in sauce that is based on the house BBQ sauce(s) and have ample pieces of burnt ends or other bits of smoked meat in with the beans. Nothing like that here.The cornbread was good. We each got a big piece with our meals. It was moist and a little sweet. My son and I liked it very much. Sadly that was the highlight of the meal.I would not recommend this place if this is the typical experience. We were here when the COVID restrictions were just beginning to be lifted. So perhaps that had an impact on the quality, quantity and variety of the food. There are other BBQ places in the area. If we decide to do BBQ again before we leave for home, we will give one of them a try.

Ice cream has been a favorite since childhood. Used to have cows right there at the ice cream shop. A cow always stole my ice cream, partially my fault cuz I was letting it have licks. The best ice cream ice had in Maine.

Great variety of flavors at an old dairy farm at a beautiful location! Tried Ginger ice cream and loved it! On weekends they also have the BBQ barn- will need to try next!

Absolutely delicious ice cream, I went at opening time (12:30) hoping to get lunch at the BBQ shack but unfortunately that doesn't open until 4pm. The ice cream was awesome!

Absolutely hands down the worst barbecue I have ever eaten or at least tried to eat! I got the combo dinner that had 3 extremely dry ribs, extremely dry pulled pork that I had a hard time even chewing really dried out chicken and flavorless coleslaw! To top it off, the portion size was very small compared to other good bbq restaurants and way over priced! I was very excited to find a bbq place that was so close to where I live but after eating there I will NEVER go back there again! Just absolutely flavorless dry food if that’s what you want to call it! I have the rest to my dogs and even they had a hard time eating it! I can’t say it enough as to how disgusting this place is! Get out of the bbq business cuz you’ve failed miserably

Nice place. Fewer flavors and higher prices than Shain's, but the ice cream is better and richer. It's our go- to place for ice cream now. Hope to try the bbq soon.

Smoked ribs and everything done on-site. Especially like the ribs. They come dry rubbed with no sauce on them. Sauce is available to add free. I like dry personally. Never had a bad meal here.
