Went in yesterday and there were 3 lights flickering in the store. A strobing light can cause a person with epilepsy so have a seizure. I have seizures and I informed my cashier who was "employee of the month" and she scoffed at me. She was so rude about it saying that "when one gets replaced another goes. Her tone was unbelievable. I was just letting her know because I was starting to feel sick and shake. With how much money Shaw's make they should have maintenance come in more than just once a month. And retrain your employee of the month because she clearly didn't get that title with customer service.

Bad customer service...cashier in the morning to busy talking to another associate... looks at me waiting at register and still keeps talking...bagged my own groceries, because she didn't want to....get your cashier's back into the customer.

I work in the deli here, and at first I didn't like it bc I missed my Saco location and my Saco shaws family! Mind you I still miss them all. However, I've come to live my new co-workers and night mangers at the Sanford location.

Absolutely disgusted with this store, start looking at your receipts people Mr Shaw is making money hand over fist on us!!! First the steak strips were one price I was charged $10 more, the item today was 699 I was charged $9.99 for something that was completely mislabeled! I'm sick and tired of being taken advantage of by the store and choose now to take my business elsewhere and boycott Shaw's

My cousin and I went in to buy some flowers for his moms birthday, the lady working in the floral department was THE MOST helpful woman ever. She made a bouquet for us and gave me amazing advice on what to put in and how to incorporate her favorite colors. The selection they had was already amazing, but the fact that she took the time to make an arrangement for us was above and beyond!! I’m very grateful for her help and will definitely only be buying flowers from there now.Thank you!!

Bought a birthday cake at 1 pm from a refrigerated case in front of the bakery for my daughter's first party. After cutting and serving half of it we realized the cake was very moldy. It ruins the party and was disgusting I'll never shop at shaws again.

A very clean and well maintained store. Everyone here is always friendly and helpful, though sometimes there are not enough people working the checkout. Though even when the line gets all the way back up the freezer Isle, the workers that are there work quick to clear it out.

I generally like this store, good selection, reasonable prices (as if any grocery prices are reasonable right now). However, the store is currently being rearranged/remodeled, so finding things is difficult. Hopefully this will be finished in the next few weeks.

Spend over $300 in groceries and the baggers stack and cramp your goods in the bag. Crushing what I just paid for, training ? Maybe tell the kids how much this stuff costs?! Unreal. The lady in the Deli is phenomenal hands down great customer service.

Stopped in for a small bag of marshmallows and it was a 10 minute wait in line. The lady running the express lane tells us to go to another register because she has to go "potty." Then we end up checking out with Linda and she was so unpleasant. The signs in the windows say to start your forever career with us. Those 2 ladies tell me that is a bad choice to work or shop at Shaws.

Came here looking for Brave Robot ice cream. Google said it was listed as being here but it’s not. But they have lots of Oatly ice cream, which is a brand I know I love. The nondairy ice cream isn’t kept with the others. it has it’s own section near the other plant based items on the side of the store with the produce.

Seems like they're always short of help. Either the seafood counter isn't manned or there's not enough cashiers. Many workers don't have a clue where items are at, asked 2 workers for an item and neither we're correct. Baggers don't put cold items in freezer bags that I provide.

I'm usually disappointed especially in their produce. Shaw's is simply overpriced across the board. They're closer to me than Costco's, that's the compromise.

Super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful produce selection in the Sanford Shaw's, and usually it's pretty easy to shop and plan meals around ongoing deals (on or off the app).Shaw's also has the online order and pick up option, which my husband is a huge fan of.As for me, I find it super convenient that I can work with my physicians to have my prescription sent right to osco pharmacy while I stare longingly at the fresh bakery items... Heck yes to that garlic bread.

Typical Shaw's. People are Always friendly. Only real complaint is that they're don't have many vegetarian "meats." Just the basic veggie burgers. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find something, but spots where they'd be are almost always empty. Would like to see more variety from impossible meatd and Morningstar farms/incogmeato

I shop here frequently. Especially when I do my side hustle, instacart. Some of the older workers need attitude adjustments! I never have issues with the young workers, it’s always the older ones. The one in express checkout this morning got rude when I asked her to please bag everything, because the customer through instacart wanted their stuff bagged. She acted like I asked her to do something hard. There’s no need for the sighing and huffy puffy. If you don’t care for your job, only you can change that or change your outlook on it. Stay blessed.

Great produce, decent vegetarian section, moving to the neighborhood and will be shopping there!. 2nd visit not as fun. Express checkout was a joke as the cashier carried on a lengthy "chat" with a known customer leaving 4 of us to wait while she caught up. Rude!

I used the redemption center part of Shaw's when I went. It was easy to use. Not a lot of people there when I went. It was in and out and I recommend this service to anyone in the area looking to return cans and bottles.

I like Shaw's because they usually have good deals. The only problem is they don't keep the meat that is on sale stocked up. You have to be there at the right time to get any. Of course that's because it's a good deal but i wish they would keep it stocked. Other than that Shaw's is a clean store with very nice employees!

Every time I visit Maine, I get my vacation groceries at Shaw's, because they have all the brands I buy when I'm home, so I don't have to "adapt my taste" if I don't want to.

Grocery selection kept in stock in a lot of the aisles is sparse. Lots of empty shelves. Only 1 or 2 checkout lanes open, store is very short staffed. Could not find any associates on the floor to help locate items in the store.
