Definitely a must stop. Seafood prices are very reasonable here and the portions are good size. Had to come back the following day for another round while back home visiting family. Loved the chowder. Tried both lobster rolls. Preferred the one with mayo overall. Whole belly clams were on point. My scallop and clams combo had plenty of both. My least favorite was the piece of haddock I received. It had been overcooked. Be prepared to wait in line. No room for ice cream this time but I know that’s yummy too.

Has to be your go to place if you live around here. My drive is around 13 miles. It’s worth it I like to take advantage of the shorter lines when I can, before it gets crazy in the summer. Don’t get me wrong. I still go and wait in the lines in the summer you can still get good food at a good price here .Ordered the haddock sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich Wednesday special and don’t forget the lobster rolls are the bomb.

Locally recommended and sourced food. The menu is limited but the lobster roll and the ice cream were delightful. The roll had plenty of lobster for the price including some tail and claw. The chicken parmigiana was okay - tasted like it was frozen from a package.Now the ice cream. This stuff was delicious. Rich and creamy. Generous scoop. One of the best ice creams we have had. It is surprisingly not overly sweet. It balances well in the mouth.

Large portions on the ice cream.Lobster rolls are $8.99, well worth the priceUpdate 6/16/2022Lobster roll are now $9.99, still the best deal in Maine. We had a lobster roll with chowder, $11.99. Both were excellent. The fries were good. And then there's the ice cream, creamy, rich and delicious.If you're thinking of eating here do not hesitate. It is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is great.Thank you Shaine's and keep it up.

Walk in and place your order. Grab a table, they will call your name when your order is ready. Seafood is great but the chicken is not that great. It’s best to use cash because when you use a CC they give you a choice of what tip you want to give.Shouldn’t have to tip the cashier that takes your order. Otherwise, I’ll be back for the most reasonable prices.

Homemade ice cream, family secret recipes 😋. Great food awesome prices. Lovely staff.Family owned and operated by since 1979. When I worked there 1980 1990s. They had a farm, fresh vegetables sold out on their farm stands. Yummy 😋.Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring your children !! Something must be amiss tonight given all the great reviews. Waited in line to order food for at least 30 min. Then waited 35 min for our food. Debated on leaving before getting back in line to order ice cream, but decided to complete the experience, so we waited another 15 min in line to order and then another 15 for the ice cream. Food and ice cream were both good, but over an hour and a half hour 4 lobster rolls and 2 cones is excessive. We won't be back.

Let me get this straight: a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere sells the best lobster rolls north of Peru? In couldn’t believe it. But then I stepped into this etablissment (haha excuse my French but I am just very cultured)So I step in and the line is long. I mean: long. “Is this the Nile River or is this just the line to get ice cream and sea food?”, I joked for the great amusement of all my fellow waiters. But it went fast. The staff was efficient and ballin. We ordered food which was much cheaper than the crab (pun intended ;)) you get in Boston and dare I say much more delicious. This place is more like a hall not really great to hang out but people just come to get their calories in and then leave like leafs in fall.A must-stop on your way to or from Arcadia

Rich, flavorful ice cream, the chocolate-based flavors were great. I really like how they sorted their flavors by the base flavor. The lobster roll was also enjoyable, with a nicely toasted roll and quality lobster. Clam chowder was nice and creamy.

Perfect home town feel. Awesome chili. Can't beat the prices. My bf got the full belly clams with shrimp and a bowl of chowder. We both ate for under $40.Dietary restrictions: The only gf options are chili, hot dogs and hamburgers. Lactose free frozen yogurt and sherbet.

For management: 4 of us stopped in for supper tonight and were disappointed. The $13.99 scollop meal was sub standard. Over cooked and/or old cooking oil. Fries were cold. The 4 lobster rolls were also just ok. The ladies room cleanliness was a big zero and tables weren’t very clean. Entire facility in dire need of a professional cleaning crew. You can and have done better! Customer service was pleasant and polite.

This place was recommended by a friend and it was on point. Yes, the ice cream was fantastic, but so were the lobster rolls and chowder! My wife was so happy with the great tasting lobster roll and chowder that she was already making plans to come back again!There are also SO MANY ice cream flavors and the ones we tried were so good. Made the kids happy as well.This place has a nostalgic diner feel to it with neat decor to enjoy.

An ice cream place that serves lobster rolls, hot dogs, subs and fries. And each is done to perfection. Line moves quickly meaning the service is excellent. If you happen to be in a line of more then 6 people, and one over hears that you are undecided, the suggestions run the whole menu of flavors.A lobster roll, fries and chowder are 10.99.Seriously, where can you get just chowder for under 10.00? This lobster roll is better then at any high priced restaurant in Ogunquit. Plus the meal included fries too.I can go on, but the ice cream menu needs my attention.

The best place in this area of Maine! If you haven't tried it you're missing out! 7.95 for a lobster roll??? Everything here is good! Different specials daily! A lot of people are there for the ice cream that's made in house! Woopie pies are wonderful and under 3.00!! Don't leave the area until ypu try this place! You'll be happy you did!
