I have been 2x in past 2 weeks. And rembered why i avoid going there. Staff was extremely rude and obnoxious. Always made me feel like doing me a favor. Even assistant manager got annoyed first because had to unlock gas grill i purchased. And then got annoyed when asked to put in car. And next visit cussed at customer service personnel because didnt have psper in printer fax and when put in took 10 min to print what was in system. Customer service and kidness not in vocabulary. That is if can find someone to help

Janet by the MVP desk was great l, 5 stars great lady! Went out of her way to locate our order that customer service was supposed to be sending our way.Customer service 1 Star. I had to hunt down my order, no one has keys to get my order. I asked to have the order by the MVP lot for easy pickup, waited 20 minutes just to find out that a new girl was waiting in lawn and garden with no key. Customer service woman with the odd piercings and "high as a kite" demeanor didn't help move things along in the slightest.

I returned a item with receipt (HAVE TO HAVE RECEIPT TO RETURN ITEMS) And with my extra money I picked of some nice stuff for work!!! The tool belt was pricey in my OPINION, COSTING $50, But the gal. Bucket organizer made up for it 26 pockets only $13!!! I also grabbed a very very much needed cordless screw gun holder $10, cheap for tool belt. All come with 3 yr. Warranty Excited to use my GOODIES today with screw gun & air stapler!!

I go there whenever I wanna get cute pics of flowers. I've bought many succulents, bamboo, I go to the dead plant clearance isle and I like to revive plants. I got an electric mower. works great.

Quality tools, but try to find people that really know a lot about power tools can be hard.I went to buy a bandsaw and no one could tell me anything about it.I went elsewhere and bought a JET 16" bandsaw.

We had our kitchen renovated through Lowe's and were very happy with the result. We also stop by the local store when in need of items and can usually find what we are looking for. I do appreciate the veterans' discount they offer as well. When we started working on our bathroom project we went to Lowes in Sanford Me to buy plumbing products we had a good idea what to buy but not being plumbers it's alot to remember. We came across this one associate his name is Bruce very knowledgeable and answered all our questions n helped us out. Thank you Bruce the bathroom came out amazing

I'd give a minus review if it was an option. My daughter brought a $2,000+ refrigerator from them. It overheated and kept popping the breaker. After waiting an additional week for it to begin with, you call the store they tell you that you have to call the delivery company....that isn't even in the state of Maine. They are out of Massachusetts and the hold time is 30 minutes to an hour.but they are experiencing longer than normal hold times. Save yourself some trouble and buy from a local company!!!! Highly disappointed!!!

Aidan in garden was so helpful when I shopped at Lowes a couple of days ago. After I found a charged handicap cart and made it to the outside garden area. That's when Aidan came by and offered his assistance. After helping me with some plants I needed some river rock. He was happy to get them for me, all eight of them. He got a cart, got the bags, brought them to the register and then loaded them in my Jeep. Such great customer service is what keeps me coming back to Lowe's. I only wish there were more of him. Thanks very much Aidan, your help is very much appreciated!

Awsome place they got everything you need for projects home repairs super helpful and friendly employees highly recommend the home improvement department. Today i went in and was looking at dryers and was greeted by an associate named Dylan he was very friendly very helpful had to send him to check on some dryers out back a couple times did it without hessitation seems like a good hard worker very pleased with the service

The absolute worst. If you have to deal with Andrew or the appliance manager good luck. They don't want to help and will talk over you. Never had an issue with any other Lowe's. Though it's incredibly out of my way I now will take my business to the Scarborough location. If you look at recent reviews within the past year it's shocking Andrew is employed here along with 50% of the appliance team.

I had ordered 2 blackstone grills online, which they had to assemble, went to pick them up, and our cashier was very helpful. The guy came and helped us with getting them into the pick up truck and we were on our way.

My family bought me an over the range microwave oven as a gift from Lowe's close to where they live and delivered it to me. I called the Sanford store to schedule an installation and they refused to install a microwave that was not purchased at their Sanford store. Really? I was willing to pay for the installation, what difference should it make? It didn't help that I had been calling for almost two weeks waiting for a return phone call to tell me they won't do the installation. You wouldn't mind but I told them it is the exact microwave that I purchased before only four years ago and the appliance center (Dave) told me that don't last very long!! Geez, that is reassuring. It really would not be a full installation, just take the old one out and put the new one in......all the wiring and outlet is already in place. What is the problem people? It is a Lowe's product / sale! Sounds like you need to work on your customer service.

I have never had a worse experience. Lowes has changed their delivery process and is apparently no longer responsible for the products they sell. No one seems to understand the policies so how is the customer supposed to know what to do? I ordered a washer and dryer, which was delivered 7/2. The dryer was broken and not delivered. The drivers hooked up the machine using my existing hoses (I paid $40 for new ones) and washed the manual. The machine is not draining (probably all the paper?). I was on hold with lowes for 3 hours. Finally called the store. Emily told me I could return machine to store. Sam, assistant manager, was rude and combative. She offered no empathy or compensation for the error on HER staff’s part. So, the machine was loaded and unloaded BY ME because Lowes can’t take back their own property, so now it’s my problem. Sam was a horrendous example to her staff and I will be returning my appliances to Lowes and ordering from another company. Don’t be fooled by the fast delivery estimates…. It is a scam!! PS - Sam is awful.

Overall Horrible Experience.. Pro Loader David that helped us with loading the fence panels onto our van(05/30) was Amazing though and made the end of the trip SO much better then the beginning! Thanks David, They could use more employees like you!

I made a purchase of building materials a few weeks ago that was the wrong item. I was able to get a refund in the form of a gift card. I had not purchased the items with a credit card but with cash. To make matters worse, I had lost my receipt. It worked out well because I was able to return the items and was compensated to where I could make a purchase of the correct materials using the gift card. Everyone wins in this scenario.

Usual hardware store. They have everything you would think to get from a place like that. As with any store of this type items can be difficult to find as merchandising clearly isn’t a priority which can become frustrating when there are dozens of employees on at a time, yet none can be found.

We've never been so irritated when trying to purchase an appliance. We went in to the Sanford, ME Lowe's to buy an upright freezer. We knew exactly which one wewanted and we knew they were in stock ready to take home today. The appliance salesperson informed us that there was a 2-DAY RETURN POLICY on appliances not paid for with a Lowe's credit card. WHAT?!?! We've never heard of such a ridiculous policy. Then, the salesperson tried to sell us on an extended protection plan but he didn't seem to have his facts straight. That's when we said "NOPE!!!" and then walked out. Unreal.

I am a handyman and purchase products almost daily. I try to avoid this Lowes as much as I can. My blood pressure rises as soon as I step in the store. Theres maybe 3 workers who knows how to help you. Good luck finding them. Not the workers fault. Totally mismanaged.

Store was clean, most of the floor staff was helpful and friendly. I will say that the cashiers were rather lacking. They were mostly on there phones (not store phones, personal ones) and when I asked the cashier a question I was ignored until they finished their tract message or whatever they were typing. Then I had to restate my question.The store is well stocked but the lack of cashiers who do their job is maddening

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! we ordered our 3 piece vanity from Lowes in Sanford, Maine. first we had a young man/ boy who was in training doing the design and ordering. He was unsupervised even though in training and made many mistakes. Then the vanity was 2 months late, it was suppose to be delivered to our house but was sent to the store instead. The staff was so rude, uncaring and unapologetic and did nothing to help... the drawer face on the vanity cabinet on the right is larger than the other two drawers to the left of it.. I called Lowe's and Jessica was VERY rude to us, she said they would do nothing to help so we had to call Kraftmaid ourselves and they are sending us out a new drawer front..Lowe's has lost us as customers, we will NEVER order anything from them again, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM LOWE'S IN SANFORD!

As a plumbing professional trying to do service work in the area as a company we decided not to go to this lowes anymore it’s more efficient to go to Biddeford or Somersworth Home Depot’s . This store consistently is out of parts that should be all over the shelves such as pvc fittings for drains . Job is hard enough without having to find a way to do it within code with what they have on shelves . Numerous times we have been there and all lanes are closed and only one self checkout open . This place is neither properly stocked nor adequately staffed for a efficient experience.

I called to fix a problem with some cabinets that I paid a few thousand for. I spoke to Andrew in the cabinet department. Andrew was rude, and arrogant and spoke to me in an elevated, condescending tone indicative of a person who is rarely held accountable for their customer service. He used the phrases: “like I said”, and “again”. I stopped the conversation and told him that he is speaking to me in a condescending way and is making me feel like he is talking to a child. I demonstrated why I felt that way and repeated the words he was utilizing in the conversation and Andrew responded in an elevated, loud voice: “don't put words in my mouth!” At that point, I realized that Andrew was not comprehending our basic conversation. I then told Andrew that I was not going to argue with him and thank him for helping me. I then asked him to pass me to a manager. After calling back three times I finally spoke to a manager in a different department who said he was going to pass my information to the store manager. I have yet to hear from the store manager regarding the problem. If you need to buy home improvement materials, go to another LOWES. Avoid the LOWES in Sanford, until they can rectify, improve and ensure their customers are getting good customer service.

A complete failure. Wanted to order replacement Kitchen countertops. Went twice for assistance. First person I met with took my info, along with my measurements, and said some one would contact me no later than 2 days and that they were really backed up on projects!! I waited one week and revisited that department again. Same person I had met before was there. Said he still had my info and measurements and would have some one contact me. Today they contacted me but had no idea what I wanted. The first individual was now off for the next 3 days and his supervisor did not have any of my info. I told that individual to have a nice day and hung up.Now what kind of service is that I ask you?
