I called and asked if they had a Milwaukee chainsaw bar. They said no but they had an Oregon that would work. When I got there after driving 10 miles ( Home Depot was closer but wanted to give my money to local business) they tried to sell me the Oregon witch is .50 instead of the .43 of the Milwaukee. And a chain because you need the .50 chains. If I had known that’s what they were talking about I would’ve passed but when I complained they were like oh well we’ll have more in soon. Be careful if you’re traveling to get something they say they have!

Excellent local hardware store. Great power tool selection, excellent and helpful staff. Not too often I enjoy dealing with salespeople, but there are exceptions...and these folks are that. For the record, I left a personal item there after a sale, and they actually tracked me down to return it...kudos, and much appreciation.

Loved it and wish we had time to wonder the store. People were very friendly and got us in touch with who we needed to talk to in a couple minutes. The piece of equipment they dropped off at the house was excellent. Stopped in afternoon and it was at the house by dinner same day. We'll be back!!!

Stopped in for the first time in a long time. Was really surprised with the selection, they have the typical hardware items, but also a decent sporting goods section, including firearms and ammo, and very large selection of Milwaukee battery tools. There were several employees all ready to help. Well be stopping in regularly.

I am loving the changes and enthusiasm of the new ownership. The change of music station is welcomed. Changes of the store layout and additions to the products offered is great.On several occasions the staff has made a concerted effort to get in what I was needing. In one case they didn't carry the item, but said they would order some for me and some for the shelf, and called me when it was in. In another scenario during COVID social distancing, they were out of a ususally stocked item, and when I checked in again they were still out. So they pursued further and found some of another brand to order in, and reserved some for me, again calling me when it was in.There are going to be some transitional bumps in the road, but I really like the attention to satisfy the customer with friendly can do attitude.They have kept the rewards program from when it was Stevens Hardware which is very nice.

Friendly and helpful staff! This place has a good variety of quality goods from birdseed to hardware, from power tools to ammunition. It's clean and organized, too. Easy to find what you want.

Bad experience with a rental mower. Brought it back twice because it wasn't working, wasted my whole day and they still charged me for half a day's rental. They made good on it the next day so I've changed my one star to three. But it would have been better if I hadn't left an unhappy customer the first day.

For such a small place they have all the things big box stores just don't think to carry for real every day issues and especially when you don't want to drive all the way to town. All the people are super friendly and helpful.

The store is dirty and merchandise is mediocre at best. Most everything in the store looks like its been on the shelf for decades and has been marked up numerous times. Keep driving to Hammond or some other real hardware store that has up to date items and has more reasonable prices.

Stay away from this place. Owner is a very disrespectful person. Went in to buy something and did not find what I was looking for, so my brother and i left my car there for a few minutes to grab a coffee next door and he blocked my car in with a tractor so I could not get out. When i got back i politely asked them to move the tractor and they rudely said they would not. There were no No Parking signs and I fear away from the main entrance. I was in a rental car and they said they were teaching me a lesson by blocking me in a holding my car ransom until they felt they had taught the out of towner a lesson. If they had negative stars I would have hit that. After sharing my story with my family in town they said the owner treat most people with disrespect.

You would be hard pressed to not find any of your hardware needs here, if they don't have it they can order it. The difference between this place and others, is that these guys actually know what they are talking about. Been a customer for almost 10 years.
