Spent 3 days in Rockwood, arriving on a Friday evening. This was our first stop so that we could gas up 2 snowmobiles and fill 2 5-gallon cans for the 3rd machine. We run premium and were able to dispense just fine. Went out in the morning for our day on the trails and not 1 machine would run, including the brand new 2019 sled we have had for just about a month. The gas was bad - had water in it from the in-ground tank. $46 in bad gas, another $40 in additives, $15 for a syphone, and another $30 in good gas from another location and we could only get 2 machines to run. We lost an already expensive trip and have a sled in the shop. We had to go back to the store as they were the only place open with additive Saturday morning when we found out. Asked them if they were aware - it does happen and the store won't know if someone doesn't tell the, we wanted to save someone else the expense. We were told that they didn't know how we could have gotten preimum out as it should have been turned off. They knew the gas was tainted and didn't put any sort of sign to block the premium button or make sure it remained off. they have 4 2-sided pumps so there were likely several dead sleds last weekend. They don't do the volume - or don't get refuled? - enough to trust the gas. Be sure to fill up machines before getting there. The regular gas was fine if pricey. The staff seemed nice aside from not owning the whole bad gas thing. The store carries very bare minimum but if you need a soda, candy bar or something staple\basic you can probably find something that will work.

Google street view shows an old pic that makes this gas station look abandoned. It's very much open as of this review date and the people in there were very nice. Clean bathroom too.

A little bit of everything, but they also have warm burgers and chicken sandwiches from the restaurant next door which were delicious for a quick lunch!
