Simply amazing. Dont let the look of this place fool you. If you just glance from the road it might appear as a hardware store but it is certainly not. Loaded with fresh grown veggies and more! They have a small wine section as well as other beverages. Surprisingly the day we were there they had at least 4 varieties of fresh harvested mushrooms. Many items packed inside as well as lots of hand crafted products outside. We will definitely be going back!August 2023

Wonderful people, wonderful trees, amazing prices. An employee managed to fit a full tree in my Ford Fiesta!

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I was not overly impressed with the Fresh Off the Farm. It may be the name, which conjures up many farm fresh products. To their credit, they have some outstanding local lettuce but the produce offerings were relatively small and much of the store has other items. It was hard to determine what the store represents.

Seriously disappointed. I should have known by how it looked & the price……. Their self serve local raw honey is advertised as UNFILTERED. It is NOT.I accidentally ended up in a conversation with someone from Maine Maple & the subject came up. They stated they filter all their honey. And the relationship isn’t as local as this farm store makes it out to be, Maine Maple was clueless as to the store I was talking about until I described it further.Makes me wonder what else isn’t organic or raw. Targeting tourists who they think won’t find out. Wow!!!That’s clearly false advertisement and deceit on their part. They KNOW it is filtered honey.

It is definitely a great farm stand with locally sourced produce, some from Amish community. It also has a very diverse range of holistic remedies, and local delicacies like maple syrup, honey, cheese, and baked goods. We try to make a stop whenever we are in the area.

Fresh Off The Farm has high potential to be my new go-to place for local fresh stuff, if customers would follow the instructions right inside the door**.The store is a bit small/cramped, but holds a great variety of items from soap to fresh vegetables to baked goods to cheese. Every time you turn a corner, there’s something else you didn’t know you needed. The prices are also astoundingly good! The produce is just fresh picked, so you don’t get that large grocery store mold or weirdly thawed produce.**Instructions: To take a sanitized basket, and if there are none there, to wait outside until there was a basket ready. This helps them keep count of the customers in the store, and keeps it from being overcrowded.

YES for so many reasons. If you try to live plastic-free, this is the place. Great plastic-free produce and so many other good products if you actually care about what you put in your body. Also, the staff is awesome. Do shop here and remember to skip the plastic

A little update:I know the company responded to my last review but I wasn't looking for handouts, just a good experience. I know things were messed up from the pandemic but I'm not sure what the problem is now. I went in with a gift certificate and worked out my costs just right. It rang up $1.25 when all was done and the gift was applied; however, I was charged $11.25. My receipt was thrown away by the cashier so I have no ability to contest it with the type of register system they have. It's a shame because I really love this place, but now I have to double check every little thing. Watch how much you're being charged (I've been overcharged before on weighed produce) and get your receipt!!Old review:While I really like this place and it's concept, I am not impressed with the service. I have been shopping here since moving to Maine earlier this year and this is the 3rd time I was over charged, except today I decided to say something. It's really strange to me that I could be mischarged each time for something that plainly had the price sticker on it.Also, the first time I was there I was offered your reward system and signed up. The next time I went I asked about it and the clerk at the register didn't know what i was referring to for some reason so I gave up on that, until today I overheard the clerk tell someone how many points they had. I have been here multiple times since that second visit, spending a couple of hundred dollars at least, and was never asked for my phone number to apply to points, including today until I inquired about it. And I'm not even sure if they got applied today as I cannot tell by the receipt of points I was given.Could you make things a little more uniform at your business? I would have given a 2 rating but I really love the local products your provide. I also felt the same way Leslie did in a prior review about a month ago.

I love this little store, but my only complaint is the staff could be friendlier. I went in today and the aisles are narrow, so understandably staff have to get in close proximity to customers passing by to stock shelves or walk to the back room. That is fine, but not once did any staff member say excuse me, make eye contact or say hello. I felt like I was in their way the whole time. I was not greeted upon entry and I was one of two customers there. The cashier who checked me out was nice enough, but the overall demeanor of the store were dismissive employees who ignore customers. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

Fresh Amish produce. Wayyyy expensive. It’s was $8 for two small beets and over $15 for a small watermelon. I asked to put the watermelon back and she got upset.Edited my review since the owner replied. Apologies for questioning your team.

I enjoy going to fresh off the Farm and love their selection of quality items. However I will not be going there in the future as the employees are not wearing masks and the building is so small. They had over the posted limit of people inside. As a person with asthma This is a concern. I wanted to make sure others who were at risk knew that facemasks are not being worn by the employees and the store was fuller than it should have been. (I counted 15 people the day I was in. )

Love this store! They have a great variety of items. I could go in there needing one thing and come out with many other things. The customer service is excellent! I’ve asked multiple questions on their Facebook and always get a fast response during business hours, they also go above and beyond and send me additional pictures of products I have asked about. Deffinately recommend. It’s worth the visit

Fresh off the farm is the place to go for organic, local good groceries. You can get just about anything and the crew is kind with a good sense of humor in these wild days! They continue to be our go to place when in Camden…

This place has so many hard to find health food items! I was so impressed by the selection in this small shop. They have items in bulk, spices, teas, and some locally foraged chicken of the woods which was an amazing find!

One thing I love is that when you grab a bag of grapes you don't need to check them because they cull everything all the time. A great deal of their products are local made and fresh.
