If you don't mind big box stores, this is probably one of the best for lumber and all your household needs. I've gone back and forth between Lowe's and home Depot and I definitely give home Depot the check mark. I feel the store offers an easier way to find stuff with their app as well as in store. Box stores always have challenges with staffing amongst other things. But home Depot definitely is my store for garden supplies as well as building supplies.

We purchased tile at this location 3/13/24. Upon getting it to our job site, we found almost every box had shattered tiles. We contacted Home Depot customer support to get replacement material to our site, and they proved utterly unable to deliver by any means to our location, and flat refused to help us unless we carried the shattered tile back to their location. We'll never do business with this store again.

Took me a while to write this review but still upset. About a year ago we ordered a kitchen November of 2022 the cabinets came in. Was told to note all damages which I did and call it in to woodmark so I did. We then got a call to have the cabinet rep and 2 people from the store come out. So they look through everything. A new order for damaged cabenits are placed. The new order comes in December of 2022. Where surprise surprise there is more damage. We note them and send them off to the store and woodmark. We then get a phone call from an assistant manager saying that there isn't much they can do because it's within industry standards the only option is for a refund and them to pick the cabenits up. So February of 2023 they come and get the cabinets after the cabinets are picked up and a refund was ready all I had to do was call and get the refund. So I called the person couldn't figure out how to issue a refund I ask for a supervisor processed to get hung up on. So I call back and get to a supervisor who finally gets a refund processed. They also refunded my flooring. But in the process before the refund promises were made and not kept. Glad it's done I try to avoid this store.

The worst experience ever --- the Key Hero duplicating machine wasn't on-line. That means that the keys saved into its database can't be cut.- store employees were useless in getting it to work.- spent 40 minutes hunting in the store looking for any employee who had any knowledge about KH.- finally, the asst. mgr. told me that there's no alternate method to get the key cut from KH. He said that KH is offline.- but the icing on the cake was when Home Depot employee David was asked to see if the KH was back online his response was NO. Shocked, I asked him again...and his response was NO. Employee David (Levy) actually said NO he absolutely would not check! Are you kidding me? He said he wouldn't "countermand" the asst. mgr. and he wouldn't see if it was back online. Terrible!- I really needed a duplicate key made so I drove over to Lowe's in Thomaston. They had a KH machine and it worked perfectly! I got my key in 5 minutes!- such a horrible experience, I contacted HD who took a formal complaint and promised me the store manager would contact me within 48 hours. After 2 weeks, nothing! Horrible. What happened to HD?- it's sad to see the Rockland ME Home Depot deteriorate so far so fast. Lowe's is nearby, cheaper and is now my go to store.

Great service. All employees were friendly and eager to help. The store is well stocked, organized, and finding things online aligns with aisles and bays. Self checkout was easy and attendants were readily available when an item didn't scan correctly.

Purchased a Samsung refrigerator from this location,delivery date was set for the 7th of July,the store employees ordered the wrong parts. Product delivery was rescheduled for the 2nd of August,Samsung is now calling to reschedule again for the 18th and are still blaming Home Depot. Home Depot has offered no reasonable compensation nor a solution to this problem. I will never shop at Home Depot again, recommend there products or services. Do not shop here! Buyer beware!

I have a much better shopping experience with Home Depot than with their competition. Appliances actually work rather than needing to be replaced multiple times, for example. Always great service, and folks who can actually answer questions about products.

The people at your service desk are awesome!I called looking for a portable ice maker.The young lady I talked to said she would bring one up to the desk.When I arrived a half an hour later it was there; then I paid for it and out the door I went!Great customer service!

I had a really positive experience on my most recent trip here. Some of the regular prices (not sale prices) had been lowered on certain items. Also, more than one employee offered friendly, helpful assistance as I shopped. One even offered my kids a craft project to take home that I could work on with them. I was impressed with the experience.

Had great customer service here as usual! Much better than our closer home depot. We have always gotten amazing plants from here that are healthy and great customer service and always friendly. We just purchased a refrigerator thru them yesterday after horrible customer service in waterville. In waterville the service desk even got snappy when asked which was the price because it had different prices on it and no one in appliances could help us.. Waterville has gone down hill horribly they even treat my veteran father horrible.everytime he goes in.

This is a well run store like any other Home Depot. The stock selection is always excellent and there are sales on certain items. Plenty of staff are available and around asking customers if they need help. Store Pick-Up works well and Curb-Side pick-ups are still available for now. I highly recommend new shoppers to this store.

Beyond terrible in customer service, pro active thinking and ensuring that you receive what you paid for. We purchased a kitchen through Home Depot in September 2021, today we are still dealing with the aftermath. The installer did a horrible job installing the kitchen and damaged drawers and cabinets in the process. The kitchen was not leveled and incorrectly placed in the space. It was also missing latches for all cabinets. When I advised Becky, she had a lot of excuses but 4 months later still unable to just solve the issues. Instead my garage is now packed with a ton of drawers we never asked for and what we need replaced has still not been addressed. When I spoke with Thomasville who manufactured the kitchen I was informed to stand in line as Home Depot Rockland has many unhappy kitchen buyers. So far not an apology and the problems have not been resolved. Perhaps Home Depot Rockland should consider a new manager? A formal complaint has now been filed with corporate

Went to Lowes and no one in appliances to help nor did anyone else offer. Went to Home Depot with no one in appliances but everyone offered assistance. Bought a washer and freezer. Great customer service by Dave K, Robbie, and AK 88SS( sorry I don't remember her name) at service desk. And appliances were less money to boot

I ordered a refrigerator from Rocklands Home Depot, paid for it and was given a delivery date. The delivery van shows up, no fridge, they thought they put it on, but nothing. I was given a new delivery date, they dont show up because they lost the refrigerator. How do you lose a refrigerator?? I contact the store I made the purchase at and was rudely told by their appliance associate that it wasnt their problem. I ORDERED IT FROM YOU! SO YES, it is your problem that you need to fix. I contacted a chat line to see if they could help. I ended up cancelling the order and was told it would be 7 to 10 days for the refund. Totally unacceptable. The Home Depot dropped the ball on this one and had no interest in trying to fix the problem. They had their money and walked away. Terrible service from the Rockland store.

I love home Depot, possibly my favorite project store, but the delivery service I received out of Rockland was so bad. I've never had a delivery driver start the Convo telling me he can't drop my load on grass next to the driveway (sub 6'). The same guy dropped the load further in the previous week. Wild differences. I will definitely shop the store, but for delivery I'd go local or Lowes.

I’m always going here for building supplies, tools, and anything else I need. Amazing selection of tools and the staff for each department are super knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store over the Lowes any day of the week.

If I could give this store a zero rating I would. Over the last 2-3 yrs the quality of employees has gone way down hill. Three days ago I asked a store employee where I could find a product. He didn't know what I was looking for so he asked a coworker for assistance and they both took off on me. I called to them from 20 feet away that I have arthritis in both knees and to please slow down so I could keep up. One of them sarcastically replied "You don't have to keep up." I stopped went to a cashier & asked for a manager. I explained to Becky the assistant manager what happened. She said she'd deal with it. I'm a health care worker who wanted to do some home improvement work on my only day off (after working 75hrs a week every week for the last 3 months) and all I got was treated like I (THE CUSTOMER) didn't matter. I vowed that I would pay off my Home Depot Credit card but I will never shop there again. In stopping there to pay off my credit card I went to leave the store and an employee was standing in front of the exit by customer service with a big orange cart blocking the isle having a conversation with their friend. I waited 3-5 min and then interrupted saying "Excuse me. May I exit the store?" The response from that employee was a very nasty" We are talking!" What is wrong with these employees? Last I knew CUSTOMERS like me are the reason they are open during the pandemic. Big box or not a store like Home Depot isn't going to stay opened if they aren't turning a profit. Good news is Hammond Lumber is right around the corner, they are competitive with merchandise & pricing and the employees are polite, professional, and knowledgeable.

We bought a brand new glass stove just over 3 months ago had the entire top of the grass crack recently. My husband started calling Last week and has spoken with two managers since this is our only source of cooking to feed our family of four and yet we have still not heard back from anyone. I'm cooking on broken glass and the cracks are continuing to get worse because I have no choice. Our family definitely will not be purchasing any further appliances from home Depot after this experience.

I'm not terribly experienced so I cannot really attest to the quality of the products but I can say that the employees at the custo.er service desk in Rockland have had to bend over backwards to accommodate my indecision and allow a third party to pay which was complicated but necessary to fund my various products. They have also been accommodating when I've needed a lumber purchase to be cut to size since I don't have many bigger tools, which I appreciate. 10/10 Would recommend, so I am.

The best thing I have noticed about this place is that on Google Maps it shows a map of the layout inside the store! That is crazy! Other than that, it is a typical Home Depot with a cool driveway. The prices are reasonable and the service is great! Worth checking out!

I am a painter, it's what I do. I almost always know what I'm looking for, but going to the store, you may not always know where it is. I went in yesterday to see what they had for stains. I stood in the aisle looking for at least 10 min. There were three other customers in the same aiisle. The entire time there were three employees bantering away. Not once did the employees skip a beat, just having social hour while customers stood in front of products. Soon another employee joined and as I walked around and around and past them and back around trying to find an item I needed for my project, not once did anyone stop their conversation about someone purchasing the brightest pink they could find, three of the four were picking paint chip cards from the display and teeheeing and making fun of someone. Soon I found what I was looking for and walked past them (now 5) all again. Not one of them asked me if I needed help or if I found what I was looking for. It was like I wasn't there and they weren't at work!!! On a positive note and the only reason I added a star back in, when I went to the tool section to simply check prices, the man in the department was right on top of things, he was busy WORKING but moved his cart for me and asked if I needed any help. We discussed the tool I was looking to buy and the research I'd done. He made some suggestions and was super polite and accommodating. This particular store has a horrible reputation for customer service around the store. The cashiers and service desk people are always helpful and for the most part pleasant but the departments and floor people leave much to be desired. Normally I would have walked out without buying anything for that reason but I was tired and still had more work to do. I did not however buy anything I didn't NEED at that moment, as I had planned. Can't imagine how many other sales have been lost due to this, not only lack of customer service, but their conversation was juvenile and inappropriate for customers to be listening to.
