Love our Hannaford stores. We have been traveling in Maine for a few weeks now, and this is our go-to grocery store if there is a Hannaford nearby. Everything is so clean and the staff is always helpful. Their produce is incredible. This is at least the 7th or 8th Hannafords we have visited, and we have never been disappointed.

I was so excited when I visited the Rockland store today. The store was stocked, the staff was VERY friendly and helpful and , this is huge, they had checkout lanes open!!!! Extremely nice cashier and bagger. This is now my first choice store

I can say at least Hanford is not a rip off and have good prices on everything everywhere has gone up so much it’s crazy it should be legal to take are money from us but it’s not and no one cares either but here is clean store always the bathrooms ain’t bad at least not when I’m there and they have so much stuff there you can get everything you need in one place even pharmacy there to it’s where I shop for my food every time just about I do like the meat from Tibet’s grocery store

Quick and efficient help. I say this with caution, but in a day of "entitled " minors, they know how to pick the right ones. I'll expand. In all of my interactions with under "adult" aged employees, I was treated with respect, courteous attitude, and true concern for my shopping experience. I appreciate that.

Hannaford always has a great selection of fresh produce, including lots of local and organic options at affordable prices.They had a lot of employees who have worked there for years because they are treated well and have a great work environment, which imo makes it a great experience for the customers too!

I go to this place a lot because it's the nearest grocery store to my house. It is a first floor building that is accessible to everyone and has multiple motor wheelchairs that can be used. The store offers a lot of groceries that vary from food ,to school needs, to hygienic and beauty products. Middle class friendly.

Let me start by saying I love(ed) Hannaford. They have always been great! However, I don't know what happened but the staff is deadful now. Not sure if it is simply due to shortage of competent employees, but they are straight up rude, lazy, and inappropriate. When did it become ok to complain to customers about working a 6 hour shift, talk to each other over you, while filling 1 paper bag with over 40lbs of cans, pasta, bananas etc, ripping the bag as they place it into the cart and telling you tough they can't replace your bag. Look the bags are 5 cents, I just paid $400 for groceries, charge me for another one. Fix this quick Hannaford, this is not the first time this has happend! Bring back cordial customer service!

Low prices every day. No need to shop "The flyer". Go online to clip lots of coupons. Latest savings "save $17.00 on $80.00 of groceries " plus coupons.WOW!Don't bother with Shaws give you discount then raise the price $2!!!!. Still the best low hassle place to shop for groceries.Switched my scripts to hannaford . Very busy pharmacy but staff is very helpful and nice

Not too many choices in Rockland but this was a great, modern grocery store. Very large and with a wide variety of foods The checkout staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.

There veggies and fruit that I've purchased some were rotted prices are way too high its not worth it. The cashiers are very friendly and courteous.

To start off, I would like to say that I worked for a division of Hannaford for 10 years a long time ago. I now manage a company that is family owned that services a large number of their stores. I believe that Hannaford is an excellent company both in terms of product and personnel. Top notch in offerings of meats and produce. #1 in my book. Offering excellent benefits to employees. Customer satisfaction to shoppers and quality of work life to employees. An excellent company.

This is a superb supermarket. A vast range of products and never ending produce, it is the best place to shop for food and such related items. Hannaford also has a brilliant selection if fresh foods from local farms when in season. The seafood department contains only the freshest fish, off the docks that morning. The Hannaford To Go options is convenient and accessable for the best service in Knox County.

Love the weekly specials they have. Got whole chickens today for .99 a pound. Grape tomatoes 2 / 5.00. I shop by the specials to save money. Also I get store brand to save too. Most of the time I see no difference compared to name brands. They guarantee they are just as good or your money back.

Frequent good prices on pork.Doesn't do as well as Shaw's prices on boneless chicken cuts.Definitely beats Shaw's for layout and cleanliness.Wish they would bring the mix and match 6 pack shelf back.Cashout is usually quick.Seems like a well run place.I enjoy coming here, unlike some stores in the area.

Meh! About the only game in town. Prices rising well above inflation. So much for "every day low prices". Also, many shelves no longer properly stocked/fronted, and products are constantly moved around, making it difficult to find things in a hurry. Seems like a new planagram every other week, much to the chagrin of the average customer. Hannaford needs more competition in this corner of Maine. Prices too high and stores not maintained the way they once were in my opinion.

It's a grocery store...I can't really say wow they are great because they aren't. It's just standard groceries. Most of the staff is nice. Long lines due to employee shortage so just be kind and understanding that they to are frustrated too.

Hannaford was always preferred. I love self check out. Always quick and convenient. Hannaford stores are great. But the Rockland Maine store left me completely dumb founded on 2/12/2021. I was running late for an appointment. I stopped there to grab a few dollars off my card along with a drink. Bills for the vending machine where I was going. I do not drink soda so I purchased my drink from Hannaford. I rang up my drink, selected three dollars cash back then pulled my card out when prompted. That's when the screen froze up. The light come on and women come over and tried to get the machine to work and could not do anything with it and did not say much of anything to me. She looked at me and said "I'm sorry, I cant really do anything, it's frozen". I had the quick idea to pull up my last transaction over the phone to allow her to listen so she could confirm my transaction. Like I said, I was late, time was passing and she wasn't giving me any understanding of what top do about this. I played the last transaction, said the store and time and amount. All she said was "I cant really do anything with an audio confirmation" and we both just stood there for a minute or so, she looked like she was waiting for someone but never called for anyone nor waved anyone over. I had the feeling she was just waiting for me to respond to this situation and was just standing waiting. I cant say for sure what she was waiting for but after a few minutes of just standing there, I mentioned I was do to be someplace in a matter of minutes and didn't really have time for this. She again explained that because the machine was frozen, she couldn't do anything. First off, she come over and didn't say anything to me, just started hitting the screen, I just come out and explained what just happened, she still said nothing for a good minute or two and then stated she couldn't do anything about it. Then we stood there in silence, not one time did she make eye contact and the only time she spoke to me is after I spoke to her and her reply (both times she spoke to me) was that she couldn't do anything. I had been in the store for 10 minutes, she wasn't helping me, wasn't giving me any suggestions or answers and even though I called and had confirmation over the phone, I felt like she just was not believing me. I stood there for another couple minutes, which seemed like forever, she stood there turned away from me and looking across the store, it seemed very bizarre to me at the time and because I was now going to have to rush to my appointment, I told her I had to go and said I would come back after my appointment and started to walk away. I think I was more upset that she wasn't helping find any resolution, no resolve at all. I was expecting her to tell me she would take my information down and even at one point thought about asking her if she wanted to but we just stood there for minutes. It did cross my mind that maybe she was waiting to see someone to flag them down or something but when minutes passed, I just told her I had to go, she said nothing and stayed turned in the opposite direction, that's when I suggested I come back after my appointment and started to leave. I didn't even make it two steps before she said "Sir, you will have to leave the drink". I am easy going, very patient, understanding and I am mindful of everyone and everything, I try very hard to be the best version of myself I can be but for the first time in many years I was getting upset, I couldn't believe I was leaving without my 3 dollars, no information taken down, no help really at all and now I cant have the soda I just paid for? I didn't have time to buy another drink. Worst part is, I forgot all about it after my meeting. Was never compensated. No apology and lack of concern really did not sit well with me. I had the checkout freeze again, charged me $52 x2 Didn't know till 3 weeks later when I seen statement. Never sought compensation for that either. I know I could have done more for myself, I didn't return after group or report the $52. I don't fully blame the store.

Prices are a little high, but the quality of service and selection is the best of the grocery stores locally. Many healthy choices and clear identification of locally produced products. The staff are all friendly and willing to give the shopper help.

Good produce, good meat, good prices, good fish , Sushi is the best!!!!!! I mean it there is incredible taste and freshness . I get it as often as my diet will allow. Buy a bottle of soy sauce if you're going to have a feast there's only one packet in the container.

Store is clean and well lit, good selection, decent prices, friendly staff. My one gripe, is the produce section. It's ok but they routinely freeze some produce and often have poor selections of simple items like apples or grapefruits.

Too many empty shelves. Long checkout line....however, the line moved quite fast under employee direction....clearly not enough cashiers...too many registers closed. The extremely long line waiting to check out made it very inconvenient for other shoppers trying to obtain products w/the aisles blocked by those waiting in line.
