We drove by Dairy Queen and saw they were open for the first time (that we had seen) in at least 6 months and we were so excited. We ordered, we paid, and they didn’t have a couple things so they offered substitutes. They were so genuinely kind, great customer service and some good food! Can’t wait to visit again later on! Thank you guys!!

Changes since the last ownersCLEANER machines // newer equipment and best but not least CLEANER TASTING BLIZZARDS while having this about a few months ago there wouldn't be consistent hours and the machines when mixxing blizzards was never cleaned in between and they layed off workers for no reasonsThe NEW OWNER is amazing went tonight and got blizzards fearing it wouldnt taste as they should be but i was overall thrilled with excitement and it tastes like the dairy queen im used to clean and fresh tasting blizzards with that nice sweet vanilla doesnt taste like the cheap vanilla mix icecream youd always get from mcdonalds kind of vibe really shocked and happy this dairy queen took a wonderful turn

The place is closed by 6pm on a Friday, what a joke. Need to update service hours on the DQ app which claim to be open till 9pm (hahahaha). Maybe it’s the off-season but plenty of people are down the road at Dormans. I’d review the ice cream (always good) if we could buy any. :(

this is a amazing facility. The owners are the most hard-working, sweet, patient, people I’ve met. I suggest getting your food and desserts here, because not only is it a Rockland Maine staple, but it is a place where you know the people making your food are doing their best to serve you.

While the ice cream is good, it's not great considering the price. I'm not sure if they charged me double or what but 2 medium cones and 2 mini cups came to $29.. that's over $7 per ice cream..

This place never has set hours, it's hit or miss and their website is NEVER right. If they are open...the icecream is worth stopping!Just not what is expected for a franchised DQ - they are all across the country.

I always love dairy queen but this time around I was even happier because the owner (I presume) was so nice to me and was flexible with my silly request I had for my ice cream. She also took some time to chat with me since it wasn't too busy when I was stopping by. I got the spicy burger they have on the menu along with a Reese's extreme blizzard without chocolate syrup. I had no complaints with anything I got as it was hot and fresh where it should be. Along with nice and cold where it needed to. Definitely pay them a visit while you're around!

I have to always give Dairy Queen a top review. This location served food and ice cream. Burger and chicken were up to par and fries are always good. Of course we had a Blizzard!!!

It's a Dairy Queen, you know the deal. But the woman who takes the orders is a sweetie, and the guy who cooks the food is fast, and they even have ice cream cakes there despite the small size of the place. Oh, and I love cheese curds now thanks to DQ. Recommended.

My son decided at the last minute that he wanted an ice cream cake for his birthday. I called and spoke to a very nice woman whom was super helpful. I picked the cake up just over an hour later and she even wrote on it for me!

This is one of the cooler looking Dairy Queens with no pun intended! It is a take out environment so you can't go inside but it is a nice spot to get some ice cream especially during the summer because it isn't too far from Main Street. Dairy Queen also offers food not just the cream ice!

My son ordered ice cream and chicken tenders, as he has done several times before. We have ALWAYS been given the ice cream before the food. So after seeing 2 folks behind him receive their ice cream ahead of him he went up to the window after standing there for 10 minutes, and asked where is ice cream was. Instead of the manager (?) handling it professionally, she flipped off at the mouth saying the ice cream is always given at the same time as the food (lie) and then proceeding to tell him that she'll not give him any food at all and give him his money back simply because he disagreed with her! That is NOT how it should have been handled, at all! You, Missy, need to be retrained in customer service! First of all you should ALWAYS ask if the customer wants the ice cream first or with the food! Did you stop to think their might be another person in the car, as I was, that the ice cream was for?! Obviously not! Secondly, because a customer disagrees with you, you NEVER threaten to simply not serve them!!!! Unless you are being threatened or cussed out, have you not been taught that THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT?! The mentality of Rockland has gone so downhill in many ways, it's horrible. You, Missy, yes I'm being sarcastic, need to be retrained, find another job, or be FIRED! You handled the situation completely wrong! And it's not the first time I've, we've experienced ignorance at this DQ!

I went over with my brother-in-law and he ordered 4 double bacon cheeseburgers, 2 with no pickle, 2 with no mustard (no receipt was provided). Well after we waited 20 minutes for our food, we walked home and realized we got 4 regular cheeseburgers. I went BACK with my sister and we asked them to fix what we ordered, not only did they not fix it but they treated us like garbage. I will NEVER go to that dairy queen again.

That is very tasty peanut butter crunch blizzard. And also help a motorcyclist pick up his old rest Holly off the road a young girl pulled in front of him to pull into the ice cream place causing him to walk up his brakes and his bike went down. Everybody at the ice cream place gave her heck she drove off didn't even stop to see if the motorcyclist was okay. Fortunately he was the bike only got a few scratches. He got none. That is a dangerous intersection where that Dairy Queen is.7

What i received today was not ok, i have never been treated so bad at a restaurant. My husnand ordered what he orderd and came home (should have checked it first) it was completely wrong, so i walked all the way back to get the right order with my sister who was with my husband to begin with and she was a witness, not asking for free food, i asked for my correct order. The two young girls working disagreed with what my husband ordered and made up something to not have to re-do the order. 34$ is what we spent, and even the manager working talked to us like we were stupid, treated us like nobodies!! Nothing was done and we had to waste money and food. Not cool. There should be a NO star option, never ever going here again and we WERE loyal customers.

I'd heard from a reliable source ( a worker) that other workers were spitting in people's food. Silly me, I thought the owner would care about customer perception, so I put in a complaint to corporate to investigate. This is the OWNER'S reply: "I just don't understand why you would join in on such an immature way of "getting even" when it doesn't even involve you.". DOESN'T INVOLVE ME??! I'm giving you money to eat your food, you wackadoodle!! Good Lord, never will I come here again, thinking that there's *DIRTY DROOL* all over my burger!
