I always enjoy my visits at Ada's, and feel the food quality is fantastic. Since they're a scratch kitchen, the majority of their food is from nothing - the staff are all extremely friendly, including the chefs and management.The pasta is absolutely divine, especially the ragu. I get so hyped up for the prosciutto pizza and the glazed carrots - they all taste fresh and lovely.My only piece of concern is that it can get loud, this is just due to the format of the space. It may get better if a decorative separation is added to split the bar from the rest of the restaurant.

Great service! Really cool spot. The decor is interesting. Enjoyed the pickled veg, had the summer salad and that was super tasty. Really enjoyed that. Had the Milanese. Hefty portion, perfectly breaded and crisp. The banana panda cotta was really good. Tasty and light after a lot of food. I'd eat here again! Nice experience.

Dietary restrictions weren't a problem at Ada's. Absolutely delicious salads and GF pasta with large portions along with very friendly and accommodating staff made for an enjoyable night out. The food is priced on the higher end, but is deserving of the higher prices. As far as other comments about noise level, we did notice that a bit as well but didn't find it to be a problem for us. It was a fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Ada's was very accommodating of my wife's complicated dietary restrictions, which is not often the case when trying to eat out.

Pasta was very disappointing. Seemed like it was packaged or frozen. The best thing was the three cheese bread appetizer. Waitress seemed overwhelmed or just not wanting to deal with our table. Clearly, our reservations were not read right because there was no insight into vegetarian dishes. Also, the bartender has a heavy hand with the ice. I may be leaving a hard review, but if you were paying almost 200 dollars for a meal too ...you might want to also. This was a family event. We will not be going again. There really should be a some refund/strict apology given on here instead of a phone call from gm.

Wonderful. Fresh pasta, great service, good wine. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. To start, we had the olives. Probably the best olives I've had. Super meaty and a wonderful marinade.For our meal, we had the fettuccine Ragu and it was super delish. We asked for extra sauce and it didn't disappoint.We finished with tiramisu and while it was good and we finished it, it is not the best. I'd recommend going another way on it. If I had to do it again I would have picked the truffles.The service was great. The ambiance was great. If we were in town another night we would probably eat there again!

Was a party of 14 that was scheduled noin advance along with all food orders. Got there at 5 pm on a Thursday night. Some got dinner order at 5:30 , some at 6:00, some at 6:30 and my husbands never came at all. Had to hunt down for the third time to politely ask when we might get it. She cops an attitude (we’re the hungry ones) and disappeared for another 15 min. We were leaving at the point they served it. No discount, no real apology, no break on the bill. Rude. Will never go there again. It was a 75th birthday party of all nice adult people. So awkward eating while others are waiting forever. Really bad service, and no extras. No salad, no rolls, no anything. Awful….never again.

Carbonara was a little saltier than what I'm used too(wife's Italian) but still very good. The pasta that comes with shrimp was amazing, the shrimp was probably the best I've ever had in pasta. Prosciutto pizza was very pleasant. Sausage and mushroom pizza was also great. The blood orange cheesecake was pretty decadent and very satisfying end to a meal. Beautiful little town will definitely come back eventually.

I come to adas multiple times every summer and they really have some of the best Italian food...and that’s coming from a New Yorker. They have a new pizza on the menu called the red & white vegetariana that’s soooo good I had to write a review! Also their outdoor patio that’s set up for covid is the best spot in town for a nice outdoor meal. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and service.Unfortunately the design of the dining area is deafening and any conversation is nearly impossible to be had. Between the staff slamming dishes down on the floor directly behind us and the large tables of nearly yelling customers, the experience was extremely loud and unpleasant for our entire visit.

I occasionally get take out from here if I'm working long nights, the food is amazing and staff are fantastic. At some point I need to make a reservation and dine in. Definitely recommend it.Parking: Great parking out back and a back entrance.

OMIGOSH......... I live near Eastport in far eastern Maine and my wife is in Freeport , quite south. We met up at ADA's last night and it was nothing short of phenomenal. Hear this........ it was a Monday night (most of the State of Maine is closed on Mondays) and here we are on business and wanting to go out for a nice dinner and drinks. We cruise the one-way strip in Rockland and lo and behold we spot ADA's........ it was like seeing the Northern Lights! So we park way down the street and rush back 'up-town' hoping this beacon of light does not close down as we are approaching. NOT the case - it was open til 9pm. WE were in LUCK.Our waitress was a doll and her coworkers were dancing and grooving as they served us all. The food was amazing! We had cheesy bread, lovely salad, meatballs, and broco lini. Patrons were all loving the atmosphere as well as the staff and the great music.Listen - we were so fortunate to have found this place and to have shared the evening at ADA'S - it truly was a GIFT from the gods on this night. I had driven almost 4 hours and my wife more than an hour to arrive. Thank you ADAS for making our day and evening. Our server was so personable and nice. She is taking massage therapy classes and we wish her the best. Thank you all! 5-stars all around. Your music and bartender also to be commended. Cheers!!! Tim & Amy, Downeast Maine

Never had a bad experience at Ada's they are always packed and worth the wait.We had their salami (think pepperoni) pizza and it was fantastic. The crust was chewy and delicious. The sauce was perfect and just the right amount of cheese. The salami was akin to large sandwich pepperoni, but even better.Our server was attentive even though it was a packed house and a they had a large catered event going on as well.
