Sebago Trails Paddling Co was GREAT!!! It was a bit windy when we arrived and they suggested we paddle the river vs the lake. I loved paddling the river around and under the 'obstacles'. We saw a heron, ducks, and turtles which we probably wouldn't have seen had we paddled the lake. It was relaxing and only took us about an hour and a half . I highly recommend this awesome company.

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Shop is stocked with accessories and the gear is well up to date. I paddled up the river to the dam at the end. You could potentially go farther but must cross a road and a small wooded path to get to the other side. Good birdwatching and peaceful paddling. A few logs to pull off and have some lunch.

We rented 2 paddle boards yesterday & we had the best time! The rental included the life jacket & paddle. We are new to this & don’t necessarily have the best sense of direction. They provided a quick overview and a laminated map. Everything was ready to go when we got there & they came right down to unload us when we got back! The ladies working were attentive, educational & had great personalities!The only challenge was the one sided paddle: remember I’m new and was paddling sitting down… but I can assure you this is a me problem and not a them problem 🙋🏼‍♀️😂10/10 we will be back 🌊🏄‍♀️

Fair prices, extremely helpful staff. Easy to find, easy to rent and get in the water. Both beginner and moderate and expert paddlers. All kayak styles available for rent. I would definitely return and I highly recommend them. Pictures were blurry due to waterproof floating bag for the phone.

What a great location and friendly/kind staff! It was our 1st time taking our dog kayaking and the staff was so dog friendly. They assisted with his life vest sizing and off we went. Quiet coves and a beautiful lake. Highly recommend Sebago Trails Paddling Company. They are a rare find!

Amazing experience! Our guide Bill was informative, soft-spoken, and a terrific guide. He can relate to many people of all ages, and really knew how to have everyone enjoy their time on this beautiful adventure. Definitely would visit again. They also sell use the new kayaks and equipment. Thanks again!.

My 89 year old mother wanted to kayak with me and Sebago Trails Paddling Company made it possible! Super easy to book online. I had to cancel the first trip because of illness and that was easy as well. The dry dock entry was great! The staff was helpful and professional. Highly recommended!

Exquisite. Bill is super friendly! The sunset kayaking tour was lovely. My heart (chihuahua) and I had a memorable time. Well worth it! I highly recommend if you are visiting Portland Maine! 🐶🐶🐶 fyi I think they do have life vests for dogs but I brought my own since he's SO small! Thanks again Bill!

My husband (first time) and I (experienced) went kayaking today and we could not have asked for better service or nicer people. They met us outside and got us right into the water, made sure we were comfortable and let us go. 4 hours of pure bliss. We will be going back for sure!

We were visiting from the UK and were looking for a suitable place to try paddle boarding for the first time.The staff were all friendly, helpful and communicated well. The rate charged for rental and instruction for the three of us was good value. There are facilities for changing, plus ample parking.Our instructor Natalie, was very calm, patient and communicated very well, so we were up and running very quickly after some practice in a quiet inlet. Although my son was able to paddle ok, he decided to switch to a kayak, which was no problem at all.We spent the rest of the afternoon paddling out on to the lake, stopping at Hot Tub Island and a public beach. Total distance was just over 4 km, taking a bit more than 2 hours including stops. We can only thank STPC for introducing us to this sport which we will do again both on holiday and at home. If I was in the area again I would definitely use this company again as it was such a memorable experience.

We did a half day kayak rental and had a blast! The staff was super friendly and the rental process was very easy. We chose to go left from the dock which lead us down a peaceful stream. It was a great way to spend an afternoon!

Rented 2 kayaks and headed upstream from their launch site for a quiet, small, winding reverie. Great equipment, friendly and extremely knowledgable staff. Loved their stable and keep-your-feet-dry kayak launch system! Beautiful morning on the water!!

Was a great experience. Staff were super helpful, paddle boards were in good condition. Loved that they have a private launch so easy to get in and out. The panthers run was a great warm up before going out to Sebago Lake coast line.

I had an amazing time kayaking on the Presumpscot River on October 2nd. This was my third time renting from Sebago Trails Paddling Company.Kate does a wonderful job of giving you the heads-up of what to look for and look out for. She told me this time about an eagle sighting from her tour the day before, and in the same spot, I saw THREE eagles! One of them swooped down and snagged a fish out of the water. Two out of the three eagles flew into their nest, and they were greeted by their Eaglettes. It was a beautiful day weather-wise and this sighting was the cherry on the top!I would highly recommend this paddling company as they couldn't be nicer, or more accommodating. Additionally, their equipment is top-notch!

I have been renting from Sebago Trails for about four years now and I have never been disappointed. I typically rent for 2-5 days and have the kayak dropped off at my cabin. It is always there on time and ready for me to use. The folks who run this business are phenomenal. They remember me each and every time I rent and always make sure that I get the kayak I like best. I always rent a kayak for our time on Little Sebago and Sebago Trails is terrific about dropping off and picking it up exactly when they say they will. The kayaks are well cared for. Definitely recommend.

Great time kayaking through them. Able to reserve online and complete waiver online. Once we arrived they were friendly and told us where we needed to go. Provided map as well. Only downside was the small parking lot that filled up.

My family and I did some kayaking during our summer vacation on Sebago Lake. We rented the kayaks in advance using their internet portal. The portal was easy to use. Upon arrival, we received impeccable service and valuable instructions on how to use the kayaks. Kayaking on Sebago Lake was an absolute blast! The water was clear and the beaches were sandy. My daughters and I went here this past Saturday and had an awesome time. My oldest daughter has kayaked before here with her boyfriend and loved it. My youngest and I have never kayaked before but I really wanted to try it and I absolutely loved it❣️🙌🏽 It’s so relaxing and such a beautiful experience. The River we went out on was crystal clear, you could see all the way to the bottom of it. We will definitely be back again soon.

Been here twice so far for kayaking, and I highly recommend. The prices are fair and the options to either explore Sebago lake or take the meandering route out to Panther Pond are absolutely perfect, depending on what you're in the mood for. Also, the staff have always been pleasant and helpful.

They make it so easy to rent paddle boards! I went on their website a few weeks in advance to reserve two paddle boards for the week we were renting a house at Sebago Lake. I selected the 'Cottage Delivery' option, picked the drop off and pick up dates/times and paid for the boards - very easy! They called the day before to say they were already delivering in the area of our cottage and wanted to know if I would like them one day early if we had already checked in (no extra charge). What a nice surprise! This was great since it is such a hassle to pick up the paddle boards myself - instead they were delivered and then picked up the morning we were leaving. The boards were in excellent condition too! I would definitely recommend renting from them.

What a wonderful experience! We had a great time kayaking from Sebago Trails Paddling dock. The woman who greeted us was super friendly and very helpful about the best places to go. They helped us get into the kayaks and gave us a few pointers. If you're looking to get out on Sebago Lake, even if you've never paddled before, I would highly recommend this company!
