I booked an appointment online with Jamie for my Australian Shepherd Torvi (who was very much overdue for a groom). The booking process was easy and I appreciated the email and text reminders for the appointment. The facility was clean and had a cute arrangement of treats and accessories. Torvi was anxious when I dropped her off but Jamie was patient and kind. She finished early and I could not have been happier when I picked Torvi up! Torvi looked beautiful! Jamie did a fantastic job framing her face, ears, legs and “wigglebutt”. I’m very satisfied and I know Torvi is, too. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you Lavish Dog. We've been bringing our three pups to Caitlyn at Lavish Dog for 7.5 years now and it's the only place I'll bring my pups. They're now 14, 15, and 15 years old with complex medical issues and Caitlyn is always so good to them (and us!). She knows them well so she knows their triggers and comfort levels. Caitlyn goes at a pace that's comfortable with them and if they need to stop, she'll stop and won't push them past their limit. I'm thankful we found her when we moved here in 2016.❤️

Great experience! It’s a little pricey but Diesel came out looking amazing. The timing was exactly what we were told in regards to how long it would take for him to be groomed. Love the lil’ bandana!

They did a wonderful job with my dog, Niu this morning. The young woman who checked her in was very friendly. Before moving here from Idaho I would take her to Petsmart for grooming..they did good but would keep her for 3-4 hours which I didn't like. Lavish Dog started working right away and I had her back in an hour and half. I'll definitely bring my dog back!

Service was ok. I just don't like not being able to watch. Most places have a window to watch. I didn't like the gate and sign saying no one except employees beyond this point. They say the dog stays with the same person, but I can't say that because I couldn't stay and I couldn't see. They have no window. Definitely didn't feel welcome.😞

This was my first and last visit to Lavish Dog. When I GPS the business, It sent me to Windham. When I called the Windham location, they had no idea what the Raymond address was, but gave me a number. When I called the Raymond location to say their address was not recognized on the GPS map, they told me to goggle their former name "Dog Gone" grooming because their Raymond location does not come up on a smart phone. Although I left 1/2 early and live in Casco, I arrived 15 minutes late because of the inaccurate GPS location. As I left, the attendant said she should be around 45 minutes. Because of the GPS fiasco, I was late picking up my charity gift cards at Hannaford's and had to wait until the customer service person had returned. As I was leaving, I received a call from Lavish Dog saying our girl was done. I said I was en route (10 minutes away) upon which the dog groomer, Darci, said I would have to pay a late fee for every minute I was late? I said I had no idea about this policy as it was my first time and the only reason I was running late was because the GPS did not recognize their Raymond location, which made me late for the gift card pick up. Had I known or had they mentioned that at drop off, I would have rescheduled the charity gift card pick up time. Did I mention that my girl is an 11 year old, sweet, non-barking, and incredibly mellow love bug. It was an all around horrible experience, with horrible customer communication. My 80 year old mother was with me and could not believe what she was hearing, as this was three days before Christmas, and all that mattered was getting their 10 minute late fee, even though I was with-in the 15 minute grace period.

Took my 4 month old puppy for her 1st grooming. They only clipped around her private areas and clipped her nails, didn’t cut any hair but I was charged $52, which is standard fee for grooming cockapoo. I felt it was too much.

So so so happy with my huskies first time at the groomers. I was so nervous and they instantly made me feel at ease by how much love they showed my husky the second we walked through the door! They were so patient and got so much done with her. She is excited to go back 😊

We were going to visit family in Maine and decided to try this place for our golden, Zeus. Absolutely fantastic! He has never looked so good, in 10 years. Definitely will be back. Thanks you to all the groomers!

The staff was very good with my dog. However, their customer service was terrible. After a miscommunication regarding cancelling our appointment, on their end, they wanted us to pay in full in advance for our next appointment to hold a spot. Additionally, the amount they charged differed every time even though we asked for the same service every time and our dog was scheduled with the same number of weeks in between appointments. When I declined on the phone, they cut me off and hung up on me. I would never go back.

Julie and her staff are absolute loves. Our Portuguese Water Dog - Cassie - has been groomed there since we got her in 2006 and she is now attending day care twice a week. Cassie comes home exhausted from day care. She is not crated all day but spends her day socializing and playing.Because Cassie has hair and not fur she needs to be groomed every six weeks. Julie and her staff always have her looking great and at very reasonable prices. Annually Dog-Gone Grooming holds a special holiday party and gives back to charities in the Lakes Region. As you can tell, we are fans of Dog-Gone Grooming and Emily's Place Day Care :-)
