I visited Goodhue Boat Company today and was literally stunned by the high level of service that I received. I have had a slip at Panther Run for several years, and the service was acceptable, but now it is quite evident that the new staff and management have plans to take their Marina to the next level. Kurt Wescott, a manager there, as well as William Delp, and a woman named Amanda, and another gentleman named Rich were so attentive to my situation that I felt compelled to write this. Beware!!! You must spend ALL your boat related dollars with these authoritarian crooks! I was recently contacted by Goodhue about my annual slip rental. I've been renting there for seven years. My boat was purchased there. I've been told that I MUST use their company for ALL maintenance, repairs, and winter storage! I have always done my own work. They NOW refuse to rent a slip to me because I do my own work!!! I half expect them to tell me I must register my boat through their company! I'll not be told where to maintain my own equipment. They also said the slips are reserved for people who purchase boats from them which I did but it doesn't matter. Being this is about water I hope they sink! I have heard through word of mouth that they're losing a fair amount of business due to their policies. Too bad to bring their out of State protocol to Maine. Stay away from this place unless you're prepared to get a second job just to pay for a boat and everything associated with it!

Best boat rental on the lake by far. The staff was over the top friendly and helpful. Got us through the check in process and on the lake quickly. The weather was a mess and they were great about helping to move to another day. They’re also dog friendly. Really glad we found such a good place for a fun lake day.

When we arrived, the staff was at the helpful and friendly, loading all of our bags onto the pontoon and getting us all set to go out on the lake. George was especially helpful, making sure we had his contact information in case we needed him while we were on the lake. The shipmates that helped us get situated on the pontoon were personable and helpful. Would definitely use Goodhue Boat Rentals again if we ever return to this part of Maine.

Excellent Service!!!! I attended an informational seminar at Panther Run Marina with Jeremy and George this evening. They were both very knowledgable about their marine gear. George spent time answering all of my boating questions and explaining the operation of the boats. The rental boats were all new and looked awesome!!! I will go back for all of my boating needs!

An amazing staff to work with! Kate was by far the best to help us in determining what would be the best day to rent. We did get the weather insurance which helped us out! We were in Maine from Illinois for a funeral. We wanted to honor my grandfather with some tubing and boat fun because he did that for me as a kid. It was raining a lot in ME (June/July 2023), and we were unsure of what to do. Kate helped us by allowing us to switch our day to a day sooner and still have us our tube rental too. It was perfect! We came straight from the funeral and they allowed us to change our clothes at the site. The boat was great and provided all that we needed. Again, hands down amazing staff!!! We will rent again when we come back!

I am an employee at Goodhue in Raymond as a dock hand and I am very pleased with how easy the application process was. It was very simple and quick and my boss George was very good about communicating with me about my application status as it was being reviewed. I work closely with the gas customers and the boat renters and haven't heard any negative feedback or remarks from either of them.

Goodhue is a first class place, staff is extremely helpful and professional across the board. Facility is well laid out, clean and kept. The rental process was very clearly laid out, costs were as advertised, staff was very helpful and boat was in perfect condition. Highly recommend if you are looking for a rental or boat purchase on Sabago Lake!

Exceptional experience overall. 10 out of 10 for service and experience. Met at the door by Peter who directed me to what I needed. He spend a few minutes chatting which made me feel welcomed and trusting for my needs. Scheduled my boat delivery and the boat was delivered by Jim. Jim was 100% professional. He was very careful driving, offloading and going over my boat which was in storage over the winter. I highly recommend using Goodhue Boat Company.

We have been waiting for a rental company on this side of the lake. The staff was friendly and the boat was new and clean. The prices were also reasonable and comparable to the area and especially good because they are one of the only places to rent on this part of Sebago Lake. We look forward to many future summers on Lake Sebago and Panther Run Marina!

Went to look at a used boat at panther run marina. Kieth was very knowledgeable. I wound up purchasing a new boat. Kieth and also Phil have been quite accommodating so far. Did not receive the boat yet. It is being built can’t wait.. If I was looking to buy a boat this would be the place. The whole staff is great. The 220s Cobalt came in and the service was fantastic. Keith took my wife and I out on the boat to show us all the features. He was very knowledgable about everything. The whole staff has been great. After stopping into this Marina, Keith overwhelmed us with his knowledge and was only concerned about the best fit Boat for "Our needs." We left there to check out another Marina but my wife and I decided to go back and work out a deal basically because of his customer care and satisfaction and the quality time he gave us! He wasn't just about getting a sale! He was genuine and honest and helped us from start to finish! They also have a very personable sales and service dept, it's very clean and tidy! I have had my boat serviced at Panther Run since I bought it second hand. I had an issue and messaged them of my concerns. The owner, Phil, called me himself to inquire and made a time for me to bring the boat over to diagnose the issue. It was minor and absolutely owner error. On my way in minutes. Let me start this review by saying I live south of Boston,about three hours from Panther Run Marina. There are plenty of boat dealers in my area. Two years ago I bought a 23 Four Winns from Panther Run Marina for a few reasons. Four Winns is a great boat for the money and our salesman Keith was awesome.He did not push or rush us into any sale , he just answered all our questions and gave his very knowledgeable professional opinion.All my boating friends said i was crazy buying a boat so far away.I have to be honest as i was kinda nervous about it to.Saying to myself whats gonna happen if i need service.The first year i had no problems at all ,but this year the check engine light came on.I didn't know what to do.I haven't talked to them for two years.I called and the receptionist said Phil will call me back.The thought went through my head that i was getting the brush off but with in the hour Phil called me back and we discussed a solution.Knowing i live far away he had me bring my boat up on a Wednesday. I got there at 8:10 in the morning ,by 8:15 he had the technician working on it. Now that is SERVICE!! An hour later my boat was fixed! What a relief! I actually hung around for another hour just talking boats with Keith.They are just great people that love boating.If your reading this chances are you are to.Bottom line Panther Run Marina is awesome! If you live close or far away and are considering a new boat you won't be disappointed. They are worth the drive from anywhere! I'm proof of that.
