We drove into Rangeley for the Eclipse, and predictably the whole town was swamped. We decided to see if we could park at the grocery store, and shockingly, we could! They had people out in the parking lot directly traffic, and even though the lot was clearly way over capacity, it ended up being very easy to park. We bought stuff for lunch here, and it was astounding how well-prepared they were to handle the insane amount of traffic; the store was still neat and clean, the shelves were well-stocked and tidy, and even the bathrooms were in pretty good shape. I've seen local grocery stores in much worse condition on a casual weekend afternoon; the staff at this IGA must be incredible.Ultimately, this IGA ended up being the perfect place for us to view the eclipse, in addition to just being a nice place to buy some food and drinks. Thanks, IGA!

This is a nice store, it’s just ridiculously over priced. Since the new owner took over, the prices had soared compared to grocery stores outside the Rangeley lakes area. The parking lot was clean and so was the store, the staff were all very nice and polite, however if you have the time to go to Farmington, its much cheaper to get your groceries somewhere else. Gas prices as of 10/01/2023 were over $3.70 per gallon, and a propane exchange was $26. This is absurd. The owner is trying to capitalize off being the only true grocery store in town and take advantage of the tourists than being a reputable business owner.

We’d be lost without the OG! Love everything and everybody . OG has just about everything you need and some things you may not even know you need!

This might be the greatest supermarket in the world. It captures the spirit and needs of the community and answers with harmony.

A small store for this quiet resort community but they have all the necessities and a few luxuries, too. The packaged bagels were excellent, better than most places I have been. Friendly staff, a good outpost when visiting this lovely area.

Full service grocery store with a good produce section that often has locally produced items. Extensive craft beer and wine selection as well as distilled spirits. Gas station on site is an added bonus.

For a small grocery store it’s really well stocked. Just put in some new self service stations, which seems like it would take away from the personal small town feel, but great for getting in and out 👅☺️💯 folks are kind and the gas pumps outside take card and CASH so you don’t have to go inside 👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥💯 my absolute FAVORITE part ☺️

Overly priced food, very small organic section, and a not so friendly atmosphere. It is sad that this is the only grocery store in town and they have such little appreciation for the people who live and shop here year round.

I went there to grab a few groceries for the cottage we were staying in. Not use to the snow being from Mississippi and had a pretty bad fall with the buggy. Everyone went ABOVE and beyond to help me including the gentleman coming in the store. Replaced any of my damaged groceries and was super sweet

A quirky little place. Was the only grocery store i saw while there so probably the best bet if you need something while camping in the area.

The store was clean and had a good selection of products. The employees were friendly and helpful. Prices were pretty expensive but that is the case in most grocery stores now.

Ample parking on the lot of a highly visible location with a good selection of just about anything you need to stock up the fridges, freezers, and pantries. Pricing was moderate (I found ground sirloin for $.91/lb, boneless chicken breasts for $.87/lb). The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, I had a good shopping experience and plan to return to this store.

Very clean store. Only 4 stars because I wished they'd offer a larger selection of non name brand options, although I understand this is a tourist area...If you're shelling out the big bucks on a cabin rental, etc. you're likely to want to have the option of less expensive groceries 😁 Just an observation that everyone definitely won't agree with! Ha!

We love shopping here. They always play oldies music and we dance down the aisles sometimes. Good selection and they carry wine too. Employees are always very nice. Clean store.

I love this place! It's immaculate clean inside and out. They play great 50's music. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a surprisingly good selection of produce and meats. They also carry many of the gourmet and specialty items we buy at home. They have a huge wine selection as well as beer and spirits. People say the store is expensive. I differ. They are an IGA and therefore run sales. If you shop with an eye for sales, they're actually pretty good. I bought bone-in rib steaks for $6/lb. You can't beat that! Besides, I shop there on vacation and I'm not necessarily looking for bargains as much as I'm looking for QUALITY. IGA also has ready-made sandwiches, which are great when you're on the go. They'll also make you whatever you want. I guess they could do a little better with the fish, but I've never bought anything that was OFF, which is really what matters IMHO.

Close and great selection. Just be aware that a local grocery is going to be pricer than you’re used too in the big city. Awesome local beer selection.

Decent store, but it's on the small side. We struggled to find things we really needed. Went to a larger, full scale supermarket 40 miles away where we found everything we needed.

Much larger than expected. Carries a wide variety of groceries, wine, beer, spirits, produce, meats, with a great deli section as well. Some hot and ready meals are readily made, and ready to go! You can also fuel up with gasoline or grab some hot coffee to go. Cigarettes and lotto tickets can also be found here. They don't always carry a lot of the top brands, and they tend to be a little pricier than WM or Hannaford, but the location is extremely convenient and they have quality IGA brand products as well. Weekly specials are always great deals!

IGA Rangely has a good assortment of products, some things that have varieties I have not seen before. We shopped here for snacks and drinks to hike saddleback mountain, and we shopped here again for a dinner of meats, cheeses, crackers, and cheese. We found the IGA very affordable and very convenient.
