What great service I got at this store recently! I highly recommend. I was looking for a new pair of trail runners and Tony helped me. He was extremely helpful and patient (even when I came in a second day to make sure I had the right size). He gave me pros and cons of the sizes I was trying to decide between. I’ve put about 45 miles on my new Topos. They fit very well and I credit him for helping me get the size right.

Had a great experience renting a paddle board at Ecopelagicon this past week. They helped me load it into my car and I was in and out of there and back on the lake very quickly. My kids loved using it too, so much so that we extended our rental for an extra three days.The store also had a great selection of books, backpacker's gear, and Rangeley paraphernalia to satisfy just about anyone. We'll be back!

Was in the area for kayaking and Seth was able to provide great tips for paddling the local spots. And the shuttle service made a great trip down the Kennebago River possible since we only had a single car. Plus, the shop itself is cool place.

Fantastic place. Has everything you could ever want for outdoor gear. Puzzles, games, books, and toys for kids. Also has canoe, kayak, and paddle board rentals.

What a great store! It's tucked in a quiet spot just behind the main drag of Rangeley so you can sit or shop and relax without trucks going by all the time. Sitting on a beautiful little pond is great, with lots of waterfowl around and pretty lily pads on the calm water. The chance to kayak should be taken if you have the time. The store itself has all kinds of cool merchandise to enhance your stay in Rangeley or to brighten life when you return home. The new owners are really pleasant and friendly, clearly working hard to build their business with great service. Don't miss this great shop while visiting beautiful Rangeley.

This store is awesome! The staff and owner go out of the way to help people be successful in their outdoor adventures. Day trip, skating for an hour, paddle adventure or traveling from Georgia to Maine they got you covered.If I am in town I stop in to support them because they support the outdoor community.

Everyone working at the store was extremely helpful with both gear and travel recommendations and were very accommodating as my friend and I's travel plans changed. 10/10 recommend if you're passing through Rangeley and have any questions or gear needs!

We rented a double kayak and went to Rangeley State Park to enjoy the beach and came back.Ecopelagicon was amazing ! The staff were very helpfull and super friendly. They even gave us a ride to the Rangeley lake with our kayak. And above all, they are dog friendly !!Just an amazing place in town :) Loved it !

Theres something new and wonderful everytime I go! I got these beautiful rose quartz tea light candles there 20 years ago and love them still so much! One of my favorite places for sure!

There are two gift shops in town which are "must see" and THIS is one of them! Ecopelagicon sells gifts and equipment with a bend toward nature and the outdoors. They offer a wide selection of books, including the BEST hiking guides. They have interesting and unique items for the whole family, especially for kids. It's a great place to go on a rainy day. They sell hiking gear and I believe they sell/rent kayaks too. They offer guided kayak tours. Don't leave Rangeley without checking them out.

Have loved coming Ecopelagicon for years! There is always an excellent selection of children's toys, stationary, camping gear, gifts, books and insence. The place is warm and inviting and always a good stop. During the winter months there is a ice hockey tournament on that is fun to watch and participate in.
