Everything was perfect! The rooms are cozy and tiny. Literally, if you are over 6'4" or wear a 4x T-shirt or larger, you will have a very difficult time fitting in these rooms. But the owners were very nice and very accommodating. Had no problem making a reservation to include our two big dogs. Very dog friendly. Rooms were $75/night, but we were there for Hurricane Lee, so that may have influenced the price. There's a Circle K across the street and a nice home cooking style restaurant at the Irving Oil truck stop 15min south towards Calais

The Bellmard was just exactly what my two buddies and I needed for a place to crash after pedaling the entirety of the Stud Mill on our gravel bikes. The proprietors are super kind and hospitable and very accommodating. Our stay was comfortable and entirely drama free. They let us store our bikes indoors, which gave us great peace of mind. And the $12 breakfast the next morning was easily the biggest breakfast I've ever eaten and served as great fuel for our 60+ mile return pedal. Zero complaints and I would happily stay here again.

Great spot in an historic old building. I was riding by on a motorcycle and needed somewhere dry to spend the night. My room was very clean, the hosts were friendly and helpful. They even let me park my moto under the awning. Best deal around

If I could give this place zero stars then I would. Less than a week ago they were advertising "Free Breakfast" on Google. When we arrived at the Inn it looked cool with a lot of history and character. The owner told us all about how the breakfast is a personal and delicious experience. We even heard the stories about how the kitchen was renovated. When we woke up I was pretty surprised to see that there was no breakfast. I rang the doorbell the see if someone would come downstairs to see when breakfast would begin. I spoke to a man who told me that whatever was written on Google is beyond their control and that they are not required to serve breakfast. Also, you have to pay an extra $10 for breakfast and order it the night before. There is nothing wrong with this method other than the fact that there was false advertising done on google. He clearly did not understand that the confirmation of serving breakfast on Google must come from someone with access to the Inn's account. Funny thing is as I go to write this review I see that they took the "Free Breakfast" advertisement down. Luckily I prepared for that. All in all, This place was a joke

Made the trip to visit the area my great grandparents, grandfather & father come from. Our hostess being connected to the library and historical society went the extra mile and researched local records for any and all mentions of the family name. Made the stay even more pleasant and memorable. Thank you.

Passing through town on motorcycle excursion and storms came through. Found this place on a whim and very nice owners, quiet, very reasonable rates. Cool house with a lot of history. Recommend.

Reasonably priced, nice owners, and I think the only non camping option in this region.
