I cannot believe people give 1 star for needing a damn restroom. Seriously, I'm sure the type is called the paying customer...right. Honestly I gave 4 stars here because the items I use like to show up and suddenly disappear. Also, there's not much reasonably priced (at every location). Though the store clerks here are never very happy and some are apparently looking for a girlfriend, the pharmacy is not like this and they are professionals. I give the people at the pharmacy dept. 5 stars. The male pharmacist is extremely helpful and the young lady, Marlene, who is a pharmacist technician is most helpful, too. She and the other guy, (who wears the awesome shoes, perhaps Nick?) go out of their way to make things right. All with wonderful attitudes. All of these people at the pharmacy are amazing and they exceed in giving a satisfying experience from good customer service they provide. As far as shopping here, I am not a fan. Trader Joe's has better options for much of what is offered here and it's right next door. Not a great location for a Walgreen's is my opinion. Prices are high and there isn't much for folks who are vegan nor for those who like to shop conscious, green and ethical.

Don’t come here if you are a paying customer and have to use the bathroom. Apparently covid regulations at this one specific location stops the public from using the bathroom. Per the cashier it’s for the public safety… I was referred to the Trader Joe’s. I ended up not buying what I was going to here and got what I needed at Trader Joe’s because of this experience to this rude cashier.

Very clean store with a huge selection. The staff has always been nice whenever I went. Today was the first time I used the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. The pharmacist was super nice. My doctor didn't finish submitting 1 of my prescriptions, but he took care of it and made sure that I went home with all of my medications. I live coming to this particular Walgreen's and will continue to frequent the place.

I never lived in Soviet Russia but I expect it was a little like what we are now experiencing when he head into stores to purchase items or attempt to obtain services. Today I went to Walgreens for my covid booster and a flu shot. I preregistered for both, obtained a confirmation, filled out the required forms and was also notified that I would receive" $10 in Walgreen bucks ". $5 for each shot. Bottom line- after waiting a while I left with a covid shot, no flu shot and no walgreen bucks. Oh well. We are getting use to bad service, empty shelves, long waits and higher prices. Expectations keep getting beaten down.

***UPDATE*** I hate going to this Walgreens. I had a couple of things I needed to take care of at the pharmacy. Evidently the pharmacist is unable to multitask because when I started to mention the second item he curtly said, "Why don't we take care of one item at a time." OK, I get it... You don't like me. Not friendly. And now I have a bad attitude about it. Time to go to another Walgreens. Hopefully "Mr Personality" doesn't float between stores.One of the pharmacists at this Walgreens is just miserable all the time. He wouldn't crack a smile or say thank you if his life depended on it. It's also unfortunate that I perceive to be treated differently based on the medicine I am picking up. I mentioned this to the other pharmacist and reminded him that if he is treating me differently based on what kind of medicine I am picking up it would be discrimination. I would go elsewhere but this is the only pharmacy around that carries the particular manufacturer of one of the medicines I take and is the only one I have found I am not allergic to.

Came in to buy some wrap for my finger and the immediate urge to use the Restroom came over me. The restroom had a coded door and I went up to the cashier to ask for the code. As he was eating food at the front I asked for the code and he said they are closed, I said for what? He says for Covid.There was no hand sanitizer available for public use, no access to wash my hands with soap and water and as a paying customer I had no access to a restroom or anything to clean door knobs or handles within the store. Can someone explain the logic behind all of this?If this is all about staying safe and protecting the public why am I not allowed access to hot soapy water, hand sanitizer in a safe place to relieve myself? I gave two stars as opposed to one because the lights were on.

Love my Walgreens here in Congress st in Portland. My wait in line for pick up in pharmacy is minimal and almost everytime I go now my pharmacist knows me by face! This is how pharmacies should be :-).

Booked a Covid test appointment, only to be informed at the physical appointment that there were no more tests available... Went to a nearby clinic who informed me that they have seen many patients recently with the same experience. Hope they can fix this in the near future.

Very rude salesperson last night slammed product was swearing never seen anyone like that. I go there 3 or 4 times a week and never been treated like this. I've seen him there but I have never seen him helping customers I guess there is a good reason

What kind of a giant chain pharmacy/store won’t let their customers use their restrooms and keeps them under lock and key???!!!!! My little boy needed to use the bathroom and when I asked, I was told, “They’re closed!” Seriously?!!We had to go to a grocery store to use one!! I’m done with Walgreens in general!!!

They can’t keep regular hours in the pharmacy, if you need a prescription with any urgency choose a different place. They will close mid day, early, open late etc/

I waited for over 5 minutes in no line to be helped despite them having a pharmacist, tech, and intern working and a store manager in the pharmacy area. Otherwise they were polite.

Do NOT make the mistake of walking to do other errands while you have a prescription being filled. They WILL have your car towed despite the fact that you are a current, paying customer.
