The Best Grocery Store! Love their products! I travel 2 1/2 hours to shop at this store! I appreciate how they offer healthy products without all the added chemicals. They have Maple Leaf Cookies that come from Canada. They have Coconut Strips that come from Thailand that are great too. The latest grocery bags ( mini canvas totes)are great too! I don't think I've ever bought a product I wasn't happy with at Trader Joe's!

He was incredibly friendly, pleasant, and answered several questions I had about when a product was going to be back in stock. He even went to check to make sure he was giving me accurate information, and gave me the exact date and time, and the reason why it was out of stock in the first place for such a long window of time! Trader Joe's, please hire more people like Cameron!!! :) He provided me with awesome customer service!

I want to share a wonderful experience. I arrive at the parking lot of Trader Joe’s with a horrible flat tire. Immediately to kind young employees can to my car and asked to help. One (they quickly realized it would only take one) was happy to change my tire! I had know idea if I had a spare but he found it and he happy went to work while I shopped . When I came out there was my car with the spare on it. His name turned out to be Caleb my son’s name. Thank you Caleb and Trader Joe’s for hiring such a great, caring employee. I will never forget that day at Trader Joe’s.

I wish there was a location near me but when we go to the Portland area we always stop. I love Trader Joe's and this is the friendliest store! Very accommodating and welcoming! They even threw in a little treat for us for the ride back home! Highly recommend!

Love the affordable flower bouquets when you first enter. They set the mood for your experience at Trader Joe's. Treat yourself to a beautiful and unique bouquet for just $6, then make your way around the store finding interesting products you can't find anywhere else. My dogs love the pb banana bones. We love some of the spices which are high quality and a great value. Lots of interesting sauces as well.

I visited the Portland TJ's for the 1st time ever today. We were visiting for the day and popped in. My mom asked Estella, a crew member, where some things were and she gave us the best experience! Estella, like all crew members, was attentive, super helpful, patient and sweet. We found our goodies and will be back because it's this kind of elevated culture that makes TJ's a great market. Thanks for the coffee recommdation and the flowers!

Trader’s Joe in Portland is located on a very convenient interstate, highway 95, with fitness centers, hospitals, and apartments with the nearby sea, bridge, and yacht centers. One of the most impressive things at TJ is the unique, beautiful product names with the price in a very fancy font. Thye attracted me so much that I enjoyed just looking at different shapes of fonts of, names of products, and prices.The price? Definitely reasonable compared to the quality of the products. The services of the workers are awesome. I can tell they try their best to make customers as comfortable as possible. They are willing to help customers find what they need.The environment is fantastically clean and neat. It makes customers come back again for sure. Maintenance of the store looks organized and well managed. Customers in the store also looked cool and happy when I looked around at the people shopping at TJ, although the workers were working with stocking and putting things in order. All the people in the store looked happy and enjoyed their time inside the store.The parking lot is not so crowded compared to the number of people in the store. It was not hard for me to find a good parking space. Special parking lots for EMS were a great idea to help customers who made orders in advance or by mobile, which is the people who spent their time first than the people coming into the store in person.

It's a great store, with great products. Very satisfied with the products that I got here. The parking lot is something of a mess both in terms of design and busy lanes, and the inside was a complete mad house with people going every direction like chickens with their heads cut off. I'll give them some credit by saying I went the week before Christmas, but still a bit of poor design to not accommodate the busy nature.

Great location, with a lot of space and things you can't find elsewhere. Prepared foods are great prices and they do a good job keeping registers staffed. Cashiers were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend as your local one stop shop!

The store is great you can't beat it, but that parking lot....man it's so wild that at any moment I expect a guy in a hockey mask to be telling me to send out the interloper. Wild parking, hard to get in and out, honestly I'll avoid it on weekends, but other than that, the store is fantastic and the food / prices cannot be beat.

It's the only Trader Joe's in the entire state, so it's not like you have much choice, but this Trader Joe's is definitely one of the most well managed ones I've been to. There are tons of cashiers and they work quickly, churning people out very quickly, which is good because the parking lot is kind of small and always chaotic. Given that people come from far and wide to come here, some particularly in demand items can run out of stock by the end of the day too, so plan accordingly.

Really nice shopping experience usually but the blue haired mohawk cashier with glasses was so mean and rude to my sister and I for no reason that we both felt like crying while leaving. The bagger was nice but I feel horrible about shopping here. That person needs to be talked to about how to talk to customers because it was literally day ruining.

Love to shop where you can buy things like cereal without having to worry about GMO! Good price on natural peanut butter,etc. Some items at Trader Joe's that you won't find somewhere else. The staff at the checkout were friendly and helpful boxing and bagging our groceries...

Trader Joe’s can’t be beat. They have great prices, and a wide selection of items. And I love the whimsical way they label their products and name items. When I am going grocery shopping, Trader Joe’s is always on my list.

Trader Joe's fan here. Find so many basic items I use that are organic and cheaper than I have found anywhere else. And Trader Joe's snack items are the best!... They don't break the bank either. Love the pleasant and helpful staff. This location like many has limited parking, that is my only complaint.

Found a lot of my favorite foods, cheap veggies, etc. all at very reasonable prices. Added photos of my favorite snacks 😋It was really busy though, I am still trying to figure out the best times to go shopping here. The employees were super helpful, letting me know when a product could roughly be expected in.

Very very busy ...wish they had kitchen utensils..like can openers.. entire back area is wine. Like the great selections of food you can't find anywhere else..this Trader Joe's I think needs a much bigger store. A woman & child in cart almost got hit 3 times while I was trying to back out! Always clean and well-stocked. Lots of treats you can’t find anywhere else in the Portland metro area, and the prices really can’t be beat. It gets crowded, but they usually have all checkout lines open. We make a weekly trip almost an hour south! It’s right in Portland, so easy to make a fun trip on the weekend.

Busy place...parking can be a challenge. As always the frozen meals (orange chicken, beef with broccoli, pot stickers etc) are delicious and the perfect quick dinner. The employees are terrific and incredibly helpful.

Regrettably very disappointing and will avoid going back. The fellow checking us out was bordering on hostile. Not sure if a one off and it was just a bad day for him, which happens to us all. Unfortunate. Will use local ME health food store and CSAs and possibly Portsmouth TJ when by there.

Worth the trip. Which for me is over 2hrs. We work on emptying our freezer then away we go to Portland for Trader joe's. Nuts, dried fruits, cheese are plentiful and half the price of my local supermarket. Their freezer section is fantastic. Every family member has things they have to have. From quiche, orange chicken to pad thai, dog treats and Lavender laundry detergent. There's something for everyone and the quality is great. We usually grab a sandwitch and desert as well and eat them on the way home. With food changing seasonally there's always new things (cookies, produce, deserts, dogtreays, plants and flowers, premade gourmet food) to discover. The staff is helpful and nice. Even my teenagers ask to go, they find it fun. Grocery shopping as a fun experience? I didn't know that was possible.
