They have an array of healthy food and treat options for my kitty (who is obsessed with them). Stephanie was also extraordinarily helpful in giving me advice about my new kitten and instilled confidence in my new pet-parenting skills. I highly, highly recommend!!

My lovely pup would have loved and enjoyed this awesome store if he was with us. Got him a Halloween bow tie and I bet he would love it. So much stuff in this store you can’t leave without! Treats, toys, clothings, leashes galore and a spa for your pets. So hard to leave this place but you can always go back 🐶 .Our dog loves his Halloween bow tie🐶

This was the first place we drove to after adopting Jaxie. We received one on one help to pick out her new harness and leash. Our adoption folder included a $70 voucher for dog food and snacks at The Fish and Bone. We were given a tour of the store and a detailed description of the food options. It was a wonderful shopping experience!

We visited this store a few years ago while we were on vacation because our little girl wanted to bring her cat a souvenir. The store is super cute and the people working were so sweet to our kid. They showed her the toys and with their help she ended up picking (and paying with her own money) 2 of the little catnip donuts and our cat is OBSESSED with them. It’s literally the only toy she wants to play with. She’s already torn one of them to shreds and I’ve patched the other one but it’s close to needing to be tossed. We’ve tried to find something similar close to home but she’s spoiled and picky and won’t play with anything the way she plays with the donut toy we got while on vacation 2,500 miles from home.I considered calling our friend who is local in Maine and asking her to go get a few. I randomly kept the business card, and was delighted to discover I could buy them myself and have them shipped to Utah.It may seem silly but the kindness the staff showed to a little girl from Utah who missed her pet and wanted to buy a souvenir left enough of an impression that even from 2500 miles away, we will happily be customers for life.

It really is an amazing shopping experience. I've never seen a pet store with such a variety of goodies. Wish they had jerky for people too.

My favourite place to shop for my pets.My dog would rate it as her one and only place to shop. I mean she could pick out her own treats right from the bucket.They have dog food, treats, toys, coats, leashes, collars, and so much more.The cat section is fabulous. So many cat nip toys to choose from.We live in Minnesota now so it is missed dearly!However they have a website. 😍

Puccini absolutely loves the West Paw suggestion made by the cheerful young lady associate last Friday! So much so that we purchased the larger West Paw additional piece when we got home from our local pet store. Thank you to the incredible (and informative) staff at The Fish & Bone. (Puccini loves the frozen peanut butter “pairing” as well)

I work in the Old Port and I love this shop. I first stepped in out of curiosity to find out what kind of pet store is in a tourist area. I'm glad I did since they carry all kinds of high quality pet food and treats.My pets eat Taste of the Wild which is hard to find and these guys carry almost every flavor. They have Primal and several other frozen foods and broths.Their treats are great quality and I grab my dog a salmon skin anytime I stop in.They have the necessities as well. Poop bags, litter boxes, collars, tags, food and water dishes, leashes, etc.Finally, they have things for humans. First, they have clothing, jewelry, and accessories. More importantly, they have a reward program that is pretty good. Definitely shop here for your pets if you work anywhere near the Old Port area.

Super cute shirt and baby shark hat but it was definitely over priced.. the shirt especially..25 dollars?! But I am crazy and paid it since my dog loves pizza.. lol.. all in all a good place to visit if you have money!!

Can’t recommend this place enough. My partner and I brought our new puppy in for a simple toy, and they sent us away with an incredible complimentary care package, which is something they do for rescues. They also answered many questions for us and had great recommendations. Whether you’re a new or long time per owner, this should be your go-to Portland pet store. Thank you Fish and Bone!

We decided to check this out after seeing it on our first day. We wanted to get some gifts for a cats when we got back for vacation. They had a huge selection of both cat items and dog items. It's huge for the cat items because not a lot of pet stores cater to cats they mostly cater to dogs. This store is the exception to that rule. Everyone at the fish and bone was super helpful if we had any questions and was a super quick and easy checkout.

These folks really get dogs and dog owners. LOVE this place. Great vibe and uniquely curated items for your pup. Healthy things like dried duck hearts and organic treats. Wish we had one closer to home... I'd be there a lot!

I love this place! I thought they were permanently closed, but they changed locations. It is a great place to grab some goodies for your fur babies!

My dogs love to visit this place! The staff is AMAZING! I went in one evening close to closing time with my Aussie and Golden and asked if there was time to give them a quick dog wash. The staff was very accommodating and helped me keep the Golden calm (it was her first bath in a real dog wash!). They even went a step further and helped me get them both dry with towels since the dryer was out that day. I highly recommend a visit to this place if your'e in town.

Lost of variety for both dogs and cats. Terrible customer service. Stood at what I figured was the line to checkout and no one acknowledged me for at least five minutes. I put my stuff back and left. Better luck at Uncommon Paws a couple blocks down the street. They’re always friendly and willing to help.

The staff is insanely kind and helpful! My dog was going through every toy we got him in about four hour, so I came here to get some good advice. And they came through! It can be pricey, but so can baby strollers (ugh). So far, my favorite pet store in Portland.

What an amazing place with wonderful employees. Have only been in once and they remembered my dog’s name! Super helpful with harnesses even fit tested our dog for us and got it to his size! 5 stars everyday with employees and places like this.

Cute store. A little small space wise. With a little more than a few people and dogs it can be a party. They have a good selection of dog food and plenty of treats. Even really delicious local treats, at least that's the impression I get from my dogs. To be honest they aren't really picky. Staff is friendly, however dealing with dogs most of the day rather than people, why wouldn't they. I would absolutely recommend to other pet owners to give this shop a visit.
