It’s my favorite neighborhood grocery store. They always have the best nicest employees that I look forward to seeing and today their managers were incredibly kind and donated three pumpkins to raffle off for my friends Halloween themed cancer fundraiser.Thanks for being good peeps. 💚💜💚

Absolute worst Shaws! The customer service is all high school kids w minimal training. I’m not exaggerating when I say EVERY time I go in there is an issue. Often they are complaining about how they can’t wait till their shift is over. Today a high school employee was the only one on a register. No bagger. I noticed 3 other employees socializing w each other while this girl was drowning in customers. I asked her if they could help her and she said “No, they all have seniority.”What ever that’s supposed to mean. So I asked the socializers if if they can help and one came over promptly. If it wasn’t the closest grocery store I would never shop there. Just be prepared for horrible customer service, expired product and bad produce.

Wonderful grocery store but SHOPPERS, BE AWARE: they hide the peanut butter in the back corner of the store. I was walking around for an hour looking for that peanut butter.

The Shaws at Auburn Street has I proved its look inside, the quality of goods, the ease of accessing produce and dairy, and the optics throughout. Additionally, they have introduced a large variety of new or specialty products. I like the new experience very much.

Produce is not always fresh; also, it's getting a little better, but staffing is thin and some folks there are thoroughly unacquainted with customer service. There are a couple good ones.Also, sale items are often missed on the receipt.Corporate needs to do whatever it takes to improve customer service and increase staffing. Places that pay well & have excellent corporate culture don't have issuses. You have reasons or results---your choice.

What are the Redemption center hours for shaws especially Falmouth shaws the hours are never the same everyday its always closed early or not opening till later. It would be helpful if the hours were on the website and constantly updated through out the day...

Nice staff but this is an older store and seems a little dirty. There is a large selection but not the greatest produce. I appreciated the self checkout options. Good for basics and staples. Parking is easy and social distancing was doable. I wish more staff wore masks.

The employees are always nice, the store has pretty good selections & the items that are on sale are great prices. However, the regularly priced items are very much more expensive than at Hannaford. I also use their pharmacy Osco, they have great employees & typically always have my meds in stock every month

The store must be small, because they are always out of soda, frozen foods, cereal can take weeks to restock. Spend the extra 5 minutes and go to the Hannaford up the street, they restock the shelves....

While Shaws has some products the competition doesn't the inflated prices don't exactly entice. All, it's a pleasant experience and the staff have always been great whether I was shopping for myself or as an independent contractor doing shopping or prescription delivery.

Every single time I go to shaws, most of their produce is already wrinkled or there’s just not enough to go around. Everything is overpriced and it’s just overall and awkward environment.

I hate having to self-check-out, but only 1 lame open and a long line. I hate that all the specials require buying 4, 5 or more of something.added: This store is on my way home. Stopped to get something sweet. Severely underbaked apple turnovers/puff pastry taste like sadness. It's not just this store; Shaws is always sketchy quality.

I cannot begin to complain enough. When I put my scripts in the call me and tell me that my scripts are ready. So I go in and they are not. They have not even begun to prepare them. This is frustrating because I drive from south portland to here because this is where my scripts have always been filled since child years. This place really needs to take people off the floors and putting them on registers the lack of customerservice is astounding.

The staff here is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The kind woman in the garden shop took the time to help me find plant food and explained how to use it. She then asked me questions about my plants and helped suggest ways to revive them. She went out of her way to provide me with very useful information, and she clearly cared about me and my needs. This woman deserves a raise!

When you ask for a pound of lunch meat, if you like it in one slice, this is the perfect place to go. It hasn’t been just once but years. Why is a half pound of turkey 3 slices when I always ask it to be cut thin. Always ask for a slice first to see or most likely you’ll be returning it. They increase prices during the winter and other times the shelves look more bare than the Sahara desert. The one positive thing is that most of the staff is great but they just don’t have the support (most likely from corporate) to make the changes necessary.

Entrance is very dirty most of the time. Shortages of workers means self serve only one register open! To get many deals, you must buy 10 of 10. Lots of seniors only want one or two and want sale price.

Shaw's has a decent variety of foods and as a vegan I'm definitely very picky. Their generic salsa and marinara sauce is affordable and vegan. They also get some good produce in this store and offer organic options on a lot of their foods (at a premium, of course).

It was a very good experience. There wasn't a lot of people in the store and it was moving right along. The people who work there was very friendly and helpful and there was No long lines at the registers or anywhere in the store trying to get things. Had everything I wanted excellent experience.

- Customer service is poor- parking is good- the customer service desk hours have no consistency, the advertised hours are not accurate- on any given day the hours can change, and even if you call you may not get the correct answer

Shaws has been on a steady downhill slide for the past 30 years. It's now bottom of the barrel without yet being filthy and broken down (at least in the customer-facing areas)I avoid the place at all costs now. It's not like it's even cheap.
