I just love going into both the Portland and Windham locations. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I was looking for new food for my dog, and the groomer actually took a minute (no dog on her table) and talked with me about why I wanted to change. She educated me about different food and what would be best for the digestive issue my pup is having.Very knowledgeable about the food you carry and even the breed of my dog 🐕Very satisfied Dog Mom!!

Great service, but minimal selection. Thankfully the only place in the area that has my cat's food, it just felt very empty and most dog-focused. Wonderful cashier, however.

Do not be fooled by the fact that this business is in a strip mall and not in a fancy downtown location. Every single employee I have encountered is so helpful and understanding (especially of my reactive dog) and they have a top-level selection of products. They go above and beyond and I would highly recommend them for any pet needs - especially nail trims!

Would have loved to experience this store, but arrived at 5:55 on a Saturday evening and the doors were locked. Furthermore the two clerks knew that I was at the door and refused to even acknowledge me. If you state that you close at 6:00, you should close at 6:00. If you close at 5:55 then it should say it on your door.

I continue to be delighted that Pet Supplies Plus took over the former Loyal Companion location. Not only did they save our local pet store(s - including SoPo!), but they kept the friendly neighborhood feel of it and the staff are THE BEST, most friendly folks you'll ever meet. I've had many random, wonderful conversations with them. Also I love love love the new eco-friendly cardboard 6-pack holders for cans of wet food, that was a completely genius idea! I tend to plan for my stops here to be more of a lazy shopping trip rather than a targeted in-and-out stop because I can always find something on sale, there always seem to be great deals around the store (just needs a bit of browsing time).Pro tip: if you're on Instagram, definitely follow the Pet Supplies Plus account - they post discount codes almost every week. (Also the Black Friday sales are insane!)

This is the best pet store and I very, very rarely go anywhere else, even though the other pet stores nearby are good too. The staff here is so friendly, helpful and eductated on products and helped me choose a dog food for my puppy with a sensitive stomach. The selection of products is very diverse and plentiful, and they've offered at least twice to order specific products for me. I really love this pet store. Thank you, staff!

I was nervous when the former store told me they were changing ownership. They always had safer options than many other stores. I stopped the other day and I was delighted to see all the healthy inventory! My dog’s food was on clearance and Pet Supplies has been generous with coupons and discounts. I got tremendous value and they had everything I needed. I will definitely be back!

I shop at this store ALL the time. The staff is GREAT!! I also have my two dogs groomed here. Sam is the best. One of my dogs is shy, and Sam takes her time with him. They always look and smell great when I pick them up too. Thanks SAM!!!
