Amazing! I don’t normally leave reviews but I had a great experience here. I was originally going to go to a coffee shop close by, but they closed early, so we decided to check this place out. There was only one guy there and he did a really good job on our coffees. I got a mocha latte, tasted like dark chocolate mocha. My girlfriend got a maple latte, which was also really good. The vibe was cozy and neat and I would recommend this place to anyone. I have yet to try the pastries, but based on other reviews those look really good too. Prices were affordable as-well.

Delightful small space with a standing bar ledge for drinking in house, with artisanal chocolates, art and jewelry for sale as well.The coffee is expertly crafted, with options for single origin espresso, beans from speckled ax.Would come again ☺️

Super tiny shop in a converted shipping container but big on style. Sleek interior with a range of coffee beverages and a few pastries. They even featured a delightful kids (of all ages) drink— “maple fluffy” with steamed milk, maple syrup and rainbow sprinkles. Also, beautiful jewelry made from molds of natural materials (honeycomb, thorns, etc). Super friendly too :)

I happened to stop here passing through on a road trip. I literally cannot stop thinking about how lucky I was to stumble upon this place. The coffee and treats that we tried. 10/10 The staff were friendly, fast and efficient and it was sparkling clean. Absolutely 10/10.Not to mention to owner has a really fascinating collection of jewelry that SHE MADE! I was able to buy myself one thing from the shop but will be putting in an online order soon because I wanted all of it 😂 my only complaint here is google only allows me to give 5 stars. If your in the area-you need to try Moonday Coffee- I will be making a point to come back for this place specifically. Thank you!

Best latte I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. The care and craft that David puts into every drink is exceptional and inspiring. As a bonus, Moonday also sells delicious pastry treats by Kelsey Mari and jewelry by Thicket: unique handmade pieces that capture the delicate beauty of natural shapes like wild rose thorns and cardamom pods. Don’t come to Portland without visiting this place!

Excellent little coffee shop in a shipping container (still has an indoor bar to enjoy your drink and air conditioning in the space). The coffee beans are provided by Speckled Ax roasters and the espresso was a very nice medium roast (bird dog blend). We had americanos that were excellent. David is the owner and also runs the shop. He is super friendly, engaging, and excited about the shop. Highly recommended!

Great little coffee spot and really nice owner! Couple things to note: this is a get your coffee type of place. there is no wifi and place to sit is outside. Also no restrooms. It’s because it’s a small space and they had to do with what they have and for that they did really well. But yeah keep the above in mind. Thanks for offering your coffee and space, Moonday Coffee!

I was drawn in by the all 5 stars but this place absolutely is worth every one of the 5 stars. I had the maple latte (which I almost didn’t stick to when I saw how amazing the mocha looked as he made it for the guy in front of me) and my mom got the Chai. Both were incredible and 5 star worthy . My only regret is I wasn’t able to try all of the drinks. I will be making this a stop every time I’m in Portland

Let me be v. clear, I was NOT a coffee snob...until Moonday. I'm a little embarrassed to admit this but I was quite comfortable with Starbucks or whatever the street had to offer me. Coffee was really just a vehicle for cream and sugar and an over-priced handwarmer (I know, I'm a bad person) but all that has changed. I now see the transformation that coffee goes through when treated with extreme skill and care. David brings the art to artisanal coffee. My go to are the cappuccinos and my partner who has family in India says that the chai is v. legit (if you crave your sweet chai latte from Starbs, this might not be for you though). I can now confidently bring my out of town coffee-snob friends to Moonday and know they won't leave Portland talking trash about our coffee!Edit: My father-in-law who is Indian is obsessed with the chai here. We spent the afternoon talking about how it rivals (beats?) the chai he's had outside of India. Hopefully he'll have time it a few more times before he leaves!
