I have ordered pizza twice now, through Uber eats, It taste good but not hot food. Gave a second chance both times it was room temperature. If the pizza was fresh and baked to order I feel like I shouldn't have to reheat the food. Very disappointed.

For $5.50 a sausage egg and cheese on a brioche bun... One thin scrambled egg in the tiniest sausage patty that you've ever seen in your life. On the largest of roll that they could possibly find. No seasoning whatsoever lack of flavor all you can taste is the brioche bun. Which was burnt around all its edges. But on the upside they have enough alcohol in the building to kill a small country. Expected more..from Munjoy Hill... UPDATE i've been back on Sam's request without letting him know a month later after this review...how was it? frigged great that's that way breakfast sandwich's are to be made...Sam well done Sir. Next Sam I will take you up on the free offer for a sandwich would love to have a reason to give you a five. However salt and pepper in the eggs little garlic will sell more. remember and tell your staff Kevin Presents is coming..I moved you and your staff up to a 4 star sir well done keep it up add spices wink better and you will nail it

Friendly Staff. Came for Beer & Liquor. Wasn't Hungry but the Kitchen was humming and the Food smelled Good. Had what I needed when others were closed. A new Go-To for me.

I've always had problems with inconsistent food from this store, and about a month ago they burned my pizza and had to make another. Now today, someone actually cooked and sold me this pizza. It had cheese and pepperoni on one piece, the rest was a huge lump of dough. When you don't love the food you make, it really shows.

Jist walking down Congress Street now from this establishment. We ordered chicken salad sandwiches. Apparently there are not chicken salad sandwiches on the menu. A simple error which was to be corrected with roast beef. Times two. After about ten minutes the clerk told us that they had a problem and refunded my friend cash after the order was placed and taken off his Maine EBT. Shame on you Hilltop.

Let me tell you this. The fact they were open on Thanksgiving all day? Had the best option across town in alcohol? Were serving food on top of this? Say what you want, but this I respect a business like them. Plus I never see people not try to be nice. Someone always knows someone in there. It's a true neighborhood business.Give em a chance if ya haven't.

Family lives nearby and when I see them, this is the spot. Great selection of… whatever you may need. Clean crisp environment and exceptional service. Haven’t been patronizing this quality establishment for too many years, but they’ve been a staple of the community for a long time.

Grossly overpriced groceries and genuinely inedible food. Store closes at employee’s convenience and is so unreliable that despite being only a block away I have stopped even trying. It is a shame, the east end deserves a decent convenience store, and instead we get this.

Called in a order for the burger basket was told they had some out and ready. I asked if it was possible to add lettuce tomato and onions and was told it comes how it is which is just cheese on a burger and a bun. Prices have gone up and quality hasn’t improved. The store is convenient and has a good beer selection, while food is low quality.

Their pizza is amazing but the rest of the food could use some improvement though. More experienced cooks in the kitchen would really make a big difference. There's a lot of money to be made in take out on Munjoy Hill but you'd need to hire more experienced cooks. Overall, a great neighborhood store.

They consistently have one the best burgers on the peninsula, and the price is perfect. The soups are consistently awesome, too. I didn't think of them as a lunch spot until I discovered the short order counter, but since I did, they've earned my business as my go-to place for weekday chow. If only they had indoor seating, it'd be perfect...but they're doing great regardless.

New owners - their Hilltop Italian (not a Maine Italian, but I wasn’t expecting that) is absolutely amazing. I’m halfway through mine and stopped eating to write this so I wouldn’t forget.Highly recommend, glad to have them around the corner and I’m super grateful for the changes they’ve made.

I've been loyal for a while, but the quality has noticeably decreased. It's difficult to get a convenient slice of pizza anymore, let alone anything else from the kitchen. Staff usually seems overwhelmed or confused. Nearly all the local brands they used to carry are gone and it just feels mostly like a rebranded 7-Eleven

Wow a lot of hate on this place! Great selection of local beer and snacks. Reasonably priced. Who comes to a “superette” for amazing sandwiches and pizza?? Otto is down the street and it’s some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.

I went in looking for band aids, my hand was actively bleeding, and although they didn’t have any in stock the nice man working there went and got me some from their first aid supply. He even unwrapped them for me and gave me some extras to take home with me. Really great employee and very appreciated. Thanks again!!

This place has seriously gone downhill over the past year. People leaving 4/5 star reviews only had a good food experience, they are not regulars like i am. Ever since the owner left, the only people working there are these punk kids who should be a 7/11, not the friendly neighborhood store. They are inattentive, meandering, late orders, no customer service (the last two times i went there the girl at the counter didnt say one single word to me) and to me, the most recent worst part is the restocking. I have been trying to buy my brand of cat food there for almost a week, its still gone. Meanwhile everyone in the store is just chilling and listening to music. I've gone back and forth about this a few times, but i'm almost certain i will not be back again. And i'm a regular. I'm just so fed up with how the store is now, i'd rather just walk to riteaid. They're nice and stocked.

Extremely disappointing hot pastrami sandwich. The meat was sliced super thick, like somebody just got lazy with the deli slicer. The menu described a "toasted hoagie bun." I got an untoasted italian sandwich roll. Not enough mustard to notice it's even there. And my sandwich was sliced in half after it was wrapped in foil, leaving foil flakes visible in the sandwich where it was cut. Never again.

It was a little awkward when I first walked in because I haven't been there since it was Colucci's. They put Colucci's pastrami to shame. Excellent food, great service.
