Our vet's office has contracted with this provider. I had a horrible experience with them. Ordered the expensive prescription pet food on a Sunday. I needed the food by the end of the week. On Wednesday, the site showed it was still "in progress". I called and waited a very long time to speak to a customer service rep who told me that the food should be shipped shortly. Next day, Thursday, I get an email that the order was cancelled and a new order was made (none of this with my consent). Now I have to wait another week till I possibly get my food? I called and waited a very long time again to speak to someone. I tried to cancel the order and they said they couldn't. I'm done with this place. I've had more success with Chewy.

This pharmacy has a contract with my veterinarian’s practice. The order to ship time is unacceptable. I had to get my veterinarian’s office to call because I couldn’t get through to speak with a live person. There are extensive hold times when calling. My dog is on Vetoryl and I set up Autoship every 3 weeks. They did not ship until after the 4th week and I had to place an order from Pettmeds with an overnight delivery ($19.99) so my dog’s medication levels were not interrupted. They do not offer shipping speed options.

I'd give this place zero stars if possible, they are terrible. Shipping can take a week or more to even leave the warehouse, which is insane for medication. They messed up one of my pet's orders, it cannot be fixed online and after spending an hour on hold trying to get to a person, the one I got didn't know how to fix it. They clearly do not have enough staff for distribution or the call center, and clearly corporate doesn't care.

This is the only option my vet offers for fill my pets prescriptions. I feel all this company wants is your data and your money. 1 star for no guest check out method. 1 star for up charging. 1 star for not beating chewys prices. bad experience all around. I DONT recommend!

I've recently experienced a frustrating lack of communication from Covetrus as I tried to resolve issues with my dog's prescription food. All week I've been trying to speak to someone about an order and I've been bounced between their live chat (which suggests I try their customer service phone number) and their phone number, which disconnects after suggesting I try their live chat. I would not voluntarily patronize this company (but it's what my vet currently uses). Update: Their customer service team did reach out to me after I wrote my initial review; they described a number of issues with their systems which led to my inability to get through to anyone, and they refunded my order. I've updated this review from one to three stars - I appreciate the actions they took once I was finally able to communicate with someone from customer service, though I wish it hadn't taken writing a one-star review to get in contact with their team.

After waiting 50 minutes on Hold for customer service...I finally hung up. I called my Vet, and told them to forward my prescriptions to another company!!...And also a less expensive source! I also told my Vets office to stop Recommending this company..

When I received the invoice for my dog's prescription, I found out that the price increased nearly 25% since the last refill. This was not communicated in advance of the refill. I will be cancelling my automatic refill and will purchase elsewhere.

I'm baffled and confused by all of the unsatisfactory reviews.. recently my dog was diagnosed with severe heart disease and requires the medication for Pimobendan.. My veterinarian uses this pharmacy so I decided to to go with them for ease of use and also use them.. I placed my order on 2/6 with a slight miscommunication which I was contacted immediately by the pharmacy's customer service.. It was rectified on Friday, February 9th and delivered to my door on Monday, February 12th.. I felt a need to write this review to say I am more than pleased with their customer service and their pricing. I will continue to use them.. sorry to hear about all the misfortunes other customers have experienced

Avoid at all costs! The worst customer service. After my initial order, I was told that the shelf life of the prescribed medicine was only 30 days and that I could get a 90 day supply in a different flavor. A couple days later, it slowed my order as out of stock with no estimated restock date. I called and spoke with someone who said it was related to flavor and shelf life. At no time could the customer service representative tell me the actual shelf life for the product (30 days would expire before the full month if it takes a week to ship). The following week my order still had not been filled. I cancelled my order and received an email confirming cancellation (after ordering successfully with a proper pharmacy). The following week my order arrived. Attempts to reach the company once I was notified of shipping were unsuccessful. At no time during email or phone conversations was I told the medication required refrigeration. Nor was the box marked as such. Due to my travel schedule, the box sat unopened and unrefrigerated (had I known I would have alerted my pet sitter, but I received medication from the other pharmacy so no worries). I placed this in dispute with my credit card company since I had an email confirming cancellation. Today I received an email about my autoship. No!!! I never consented to autoship of a product whose initial order I cancelled and I never authorized them to keep my credit card on file. Well I think I cancelled the autoship and I definitely removed the credit card associated with my account. Beware!!!

Order arrived in a week. I haven't compared the price of the medication with other places so I can't comment on that. Gave "free shipping" on an order over $50, but then hit me with an $11.57 handling fee and a $.99 fulfillment fee. Guess I need to shop around.

Do not use this company! Order placed weeks ago and still has not arrived. No updates, and no meds. Had to drive to our vet last week to get more of the rx that should have arrived. Prices are significantly higher than Chewy and service is much worse and questionable. One star given as software doesn't allow zero stars.

My review of working there was taken down, so I am posting it here. As a former employee reading customer reviews, I feel so bad for customers. It seems apparent to me that the difficulty we faced in handling high volumes of orders and deadlines comes at the expense of everyone involved. The facility simply cannot handle the amount of orders they accept. During my employment there, we had constant overtime. This job is 100% standing in a factory setting doing repetitive work, and it is extremely easy to make mistakes due to exhaustion and issues with the software. Several people were fired and quit during my brief time there. I do not personally agree with the way our staff was managed- many of my peers held the same opinion. It is also my opinion that the company culture could be described as corporate trying to seem relatable while coming across as out of touch. My biggest issue was that, at the end of the day, I felt like no matter how hard I worked, it was never enough.

My dog is dying from a fistula in his rectum. And I'm still waiting on medicine order on January 5th it is now the 13th and it's not expected still until the 16th. I will never order from this company ever again absolutely ridiculous.No thanks. If your default shipping method for life saving medication is USPS then your business model is flawed and geared towards making money. For that reason I'll simply be moving on. No second chances on this one sorry.

I ordered meds on 11/24 (order # 1100059435131) and as of 12/6 they still haven't arrived. Two weeks seems excessive. I emailed 12/1 and again today but haven't received a response. Email tracking via text over the past several days promises delivery that day yet still no meds. Slow delivery and lack of customer service make for a poor experience.

The customer service is TERRIBLE and the chat feature is a joke. When I called I got an auto message that confirmed my number and said I'd receive a call back once a representative was available. 20 minutes later I received an email to review someone... I NEVER received a call. I have now been on hold waiting for someone to answer for over 30 minutes. Once this issue is resolved I will not be continuing services here.

Wonderful customer service from Liz! We switched our pup's meds and had left over purchased medication. We simply called and asked to be refunded for other meds because we no longer needed them with the newly ordered meds. We were refunded for the full amount.Very understanding and responsive pharmacy! I sent them an email about my pets' wet food because I got a bad batch and they never responded. It's super expensive and this is absolutely unacceptable. I will be trying to find it elsewhere from now on.

I purchased my pet’s medication order through my vet’s online pharmacy link. When my parcel arrived it contained the correct medication BOX but the box was empty, no medication inside. I spent an hour on the phone between calling Covetrus, then the medication manufacturer ELANCO after Covetrus said it was a manufacturer error and told me I had to call Elanco myself. I had to send emails with several pictures of the medication box (empty of course) and the packing slip, receive a claim number and am now waiting for them to replace my empty order with actual medication. They said they could not send the replacement order to me but had to send it to my vet. That is not an issue for me except that this expensive medicine was already paid for and I am still waiting for this mistake to be rectified by receiving the actual product I ordered last month.UPDATE:ELANCO has since replaced the missing medication and I am grateful they followed through on that promise. If COVETRUS had any part in expediting the process, I appreciate that as well.

My one and ONLY experience with this company and it is a TOTAL DISASTER. Our local veterinarian has switched to this company. We are soon changing veterinarians as soon as we get this issue straightened out. We have been with this vet since 1989, and before that I grew up on a hobby farm and my father used the same vet. Do NOT MAKE YOUR LIFE COMPLICATED.

They sent me the wrong dose of medication and sent the medication at the wrong time, since I still have 4 doses left. I can not get anyone in the phone to rectify the issue. I reached out via email took 4 days to get a reply and was told I had to pay shipping for their error. Still on hold now for twenty plus minutes to attempt to get a satisfactory resolution.

Did any of you happen to notice the hidden charges on your bill. Yes, if you spend a ton of money you get "free" shipping. But they also tag on a $10 handling charge and a $1 processing fee! So, on my $81 order I did get a $4 discount for auto ship BUT was charged $11 for the privilege of doing business with COVETRUS. What an unethical company.

This company is an absolute nightmare. I ordered one flea and tick collar for my dog through my vet's office. They use Covetrus for their fulfillment. I ended up receiving two collars and was charged twice on two separate days, meaning they processed the order twice (obviously not my fault). Covetrus wanted me to return the second collar at MY expense in order to get the refund I was owed. Finally, my vet got them to issue a UPS Call Tag for the second collar. When they received it back they e-mailed me asking me for my address so they could send it back to me! I am still trying to get the refund I am owed. I absolutely cannot believe a company can be run so badly...

If I could give less then 1 star I would. I have had consistent issues receiving medication on time from this place. 2 medications I already pulled ND now get at CVS or wal mart. But the third is compounded and so I get it still through this site. They message me and take my money that the order will be 3 to 5 business days and when I call to inquire on day 5 as I ran out. They tell me on the phone it's more then 14 days away from being shipped and has been on back order this entire time. Mo calls, no emails at all. By the way this is all anti seizure medicine that my dog needs. No excuse at all for the lack of communication. My dog could die from such a lack of communication. I will never use again and I will ensure the vets office I use knows about this as well

Ordered my dogs' flea and heartworm prevention three weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped - just shows label created via UPS. My dogs are due for their medication today and I thought ordering weeks in advance would be sufficient but apparently not. Annoyed with my veterinarian for suggesting this pharmacy as an alternative instead of just approving my Chewy order.

Be aware of this company, stay away, far far far away, they are scammers, frauds. I placed an order from the site, they had already charged my card for payment but for 3 weeks, there was no order update, I emailed them several times but would not get any response at all then all the sudden, I get an email asking me to provide a survey on a recent email communication with one of their customer service rep, but no one emailed me! They literally sent out a fake survey to pretend they were responding to me, that is just crazy! It wasn’t until I told them I was going to file a BBB complaint for scamming me, that’s when they finally responded and gave me my refund. So do not purchase anything from them unless you want to get scammed!

The pharmacy at Covetrus is terrible. Our vet prescribed two medications and both of them are vital meds to support our dogs kidney function as he is suffering from Lyme’s Nephritis, which is often fatal. Covetrus either had no clue or was uninterested in filling our dogs scripts in a timely manner and getting them to our house. When speaking with customer service on two separate occasions they seemed to be oblivious to the fact the the two meds were for kidney function due to kidney disease and failure. Over a week later we were still without our meds. After a return trip to the vets with a suffering dog in critical condition the scrips were sent to Walgreens where they were filled within 3 hours and in our hands! Get this, the prescription was half the price of Covetrus. On top of that we didn’t have to pay the additional fees Covetrus charges.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Please beware that if you sign up for auto ship you might get your medication too early or double medication that you possibly couldn’t use in time or products you never signed up for!!!! You will get the runaround when you call to rectify your issues and after you’re confident that your issue was resolved you’ll get a text message saying it shipped. You will call back only to be told I’m sorry it was too late to stop. If you’re lucky you may get a one time courtesy refund on one of your issues but IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN so they will get that money back.I’m still unfortunately using this company for my cat’s medicine but hoping to find another company that can make it because this place doesn’t care about you or your pets.
