Their pharmacists know their stuff (as you would expect), and are surprisingly accessible to talk about medicine, side effects, and other related concerns. Each member of the staff seems eminently knowledgeable about their products, not just where the products are on the shelves. They're a compounding pharmacy, making them a great resource for any medications that need to be mixed or otherwise custom made.

Not only are they locally-owned, they are honestly the most knowledgable group of professionals I've found when it comes to all things supplements. As they counsel, just because it's over the counter and "natural" doesn't mean it's without side effects. They can talk through your medical history and and medications to make sure you are taking them safely and effectively. My family buys all our multi vitamins and other natural health care products from them. They also have a compounding pharmacy where I've been able to get special formations and preparations of drugs and nutraceuticals, allowing me to avoid fillers and harmful or allergenic ingredients. Skip the conventional pharmacy or big box natural foods stores and head to Coastal! You'll pay the same or less, but you'll gain knowledge, support local jobs, and maybe even make new friends.

Today, I had the genuine pleasure of speaking with Justin and Drew. Justin and Drew went above and beyond and beyond to help me find a [very hard to find!] medication to keep my beloved dog comfortable. They thought outside the box and went the extra mile in about four separate ways. While speaking with Justin, Drew was consulting with a Pet Pharmacy for me. I could not be more grateful; this experience in speaking with them was so unbelievably positive that I am still in awe. Customer service in general has devolved so much - but not at Coastal Pharmacy. Wow. Thank you so much.

First and foremost they go above and beyond. I even want to change Walgreens and just go through this pharmacy. I am not kidding or over exaggerating at all. The staff is always kind and genuine and this has been such an amazing experience for myself and know it will be for you as well. This was my first experience with a compounding pharmacy and it was great. Before I had the prescription from my Doctor I called and spoke with Kate to ask about availability for my med. I told her I cannot have sugar or artificial sweeteners. When the prescription came through from my Doctor it wasn’t correct—it was the artificial sweetener version. When I saw the mistake I called Kate, but she had already fixed it. She remembered our conversation and worked with my Doctors’ office to get the correct version for me. Thanks Kate! Great customer service!

Have been getting a compounded prescription done here for about five years now. Excellent service and everyone is always polite and willing to help. The only negative is that they used to provide automatic refills and no longer do so. Where this is a prescription that I use each month it was nice having not to worry about ordering on time. Wish you would consider bringing back the automated refills.

I could not speak more highly of Coastal Pharmacy! I have moved away to Michigan and tried other products and none compare. I now order via phone and they shipped my order to Michigan! Highly recommend, they are all very knowledgable and take the time to speak with each customer, even over the phone.

I don't know where to begin with how amazing this pharmacy was to me.I was sent here from apothecary by design for a compounded liquid form of meloxicam for my then 2yro.When the liquid form of the prescribed medication was no longer sensible due to shelf stability or affordable I found myself overwhelmed.I spoke with THE NICEST pharmacist Joe.I will never forget this day even years later.After I asked about a pill form since my child was already swallowing small pills as part of her treatment, Joe suggested we try compounding a pill form. On the back end they filled the liquid prescription but also worked with the provider to convert to a capsule form. Because time was important Joe shipped empty capsules to us for my child to "practice" swallowing and asked me to follow up with him to let him know if it would work for us.It was a success.It was more convenient.It was more affordable.I am eternally grateful for this gesture.I am happy to report as of a month ago, after a long treatment we no longer need this prescription!But a part of me is also sad that I no longer need to call to refill a prescription as I always enjoyed exchanging pleasantries and found the best customer service here.I am grateful for my experience with this pharmacy and would not hesitate to reccomend it to anyone who was in need of a compounding facility.

I was a loyal customer when this pharmacy was owned by Apothecary By Design. Now it is owned privately by two pharmacists who feel they are answerable to no one. Customer service is nothing like it used to be. I switched initially to Apothecary because I couldn't stand the unprofessionalism of other pharmacies in the area and because of how often filling a simple prescription was problematic. Coastal Wellness has joined the ranks of the lowly Rite Aid in my view. I'm switching to Walgreens across the street, which is new and competant, or so I've heard.
