Found myself with a little time and wanted to try place tucked in the shadow of monument at monument square. I instantly loved the vibe as soon as I walked in. An employee was dancing with who I assumed was a customer. What a relaxed cafe. Pleasantly out-of- place for downtown Portland.I ordered breakfast sandwich and an OJ. The sandwich was fantastic and I will be returning to burn thru the rest of breakfast menu. Then definitely move on to scrumptious looking lunch menu. Cool place! If you haven’t already stop by Burke’s soon.

My go-to local cafe for GREAT quick bites, fresh local baked goods, perfect/affordable cold brew and awesome/friendly staff. I earn loyalty points (Perks) when I go, and love that they rotate in fun specials on their menu. They also always have a list of classic/solid breakfast and lunch items. I am personally a big fan of their wraps and breakfast burritos. One of the team members, Sam, always remembers my name and how I like my coffee AND had always been my dog's favorite person to visit when we passed by. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Just had an employee of yours try to steal out of my car while she was on her smoke break. NOT HAPPY! She was surprised when she saw my wife sitting in the back seat. Thought no one was in the car.Hi I'm not sure how to respond to your post so I am editing this review. I was on the brick passage way as I was doing my last delivery of the day. I have photos of the employee as she was going back into your store. I have attached them.

Grabbed a coffee and sandwich from here. Not usually a breakfast guy, but the food was delicious and the coffee was very tasteful. The staff was very friendly, I then realize that I know the owners and it put a smile on face. Really professional and nice folks. Glad to see the place is doing well!

Super great spot! Delicious food with very affordable prices for what you get. They use real ingredients instead of microwaving their eggs or bacon. The coffee is fresh, bold and quality. And most of all the people who work there are real, they’re friendly and they’re personable

You can count on this place for good and affordable food, especially when it comes to breakfast, and great service. It’s a no frills type of place, but the food is actually delicious. The coffee is cheap (and good!) and the breakfast sandwiches are yummy. They have outdoor seating in the summer, too. Glad you’re part of our community, Burke’s Perks.

Currently eating a mixed berry muffin with a cup of dark roast and they’re both great! The baked goods are homemade which is awesome. Yum and this place is more affordable than lots of surrounding coffee shops.

The food is wonderful here. Had egg cheese avo tomato on English muffin and BLT. Staff is very friendly. Can eat inside or out. Great place check it out!! Get away from the crowds down near the waterfront :)

Cute spot. Burritos were poorly wrapped and fairly bland. Also expensive. Coffee was good and service was nice. Outdoor seating was nice, also.

Great family run shop in Downtown with nice staff, good coffee, and lunch options. Food was really fresh and reasonably priced, also they open early in an area where most stuff is closed until mid morning. Definitely check them out!

I was on a job across the street from them,on one of those hot dayz ,when the manager came over with iced coffee for the crew (complimentary)!!they went above n beyond ,they didn't have to!!y'all saved us that day.on behalf of the Maineway crew I wanna say thank you guys!!!
