Unassuming rooms, most with harbor views, in a circa-1820 B&B with an on-site spa & art gallery. Housed in a circa-1820 building, this family-run B&B is a 1-minute walk from Monhegan Boat Line, which offers trips to Monhegan Island, and a mile from Marshall Point Lighthouse. Most of the airy, unassuming rooms have views of Port Clyde Harbor. All but 2 of the rooms offer private baths. There's also a 2-bedroom suite with a private entrance and a balcony, as well as an apartment with a kitchenette and a sitting room. Breakfast is served in the dining room, and there's free tea and coffee throughout the day. Other amenities include an on-site spa and a gallery showcasing local art, plus free WiFi.

A wonderful harbor town. Not too crowded. The hupper room was very clean and had a view from every window. There is no air conditioning and it’s on the third floor. However, it gets cool enough at night to be very comfortable. There is a fan in the room which is helpful as well if you want it very cool. There’s fresh coffee downstairs in a lovely sitting room. The hotel is so unique because of its history. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very responsive and so we felt comfortable at all times. They even ran extra towels to us at 9pm! Overall I would give this place 5 stars and I would highly recommend it.I also recommend breakfast at the general store. We took the early ferry into Monhegan island which was the highlight of our stay.

Conveniently close to the port. Very old quaint inn. 3rd floor has low ceilings and VERY low dinky shower. What you would expect from and old building. Bed was very comfy however. 1 nail sticking up from the beautiful wood floor, so had to watch that.
