We live three hours away, this is our favorite place to stop on the way home from camp. they make you feel like family right away when you step in the doors. hopefully my dog will make the picture wall one day. love the vibes here, highly recommend!

If you're considering going here, then you have good taste in dispensaries! This place has a very calming, welcoming, non-judgemental, and family-like atmosphere. Their staff focus on making everyone feel at home, really. I value that as a customer with social anxiety. If you're looking to talk to people who know their stuff or something as simple as a quick in n out, this is your dispensary. They have a lot of options and are only growing in terms of products. Even better, the quality is there! It's definitely the best recreational dispensary in this area. Would recommend to new users and veterans! Some reference photos of gelato, gelato runtz and cherry frosting.

Hi-Lo Dispensary is not only run by the BEST STAFF but they have such a wonderful store environment and product line. Their products are super high quality and they have a great variety within the store. I loved my experience there and felt so welcomed by everyone inside. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend this stop to EVERYONE! If you’re ever traveling through Maine, be sure to make the stop HERE, you won’t regret it!

Hi-Lo has quickly become my favorite rec shop. All of the staff and the owners are wonderful. A new option that they have debuted is mix and max eighths from the grower of the month. The more you buy the better price. I love this program. it allows me to really try out different growers and a spectrum of their lovely cannabis. Last month was Hazy Hill long a favorite of mine Dave, Hillary and their team grow amazing product and are all native mainers that have spent years perfecting their craft. Their Pineapple Fields is now one of my favorite sativa s. A new extraordinarily close second is the Lemon Diesel from this months featured grower, High Tide. I love a good sativa that powers me energetically and creatively. I may have 5 projects going at once but at the end of the day my task list is checked off and it’s time to relax with some Bruce Banner!

I’m in from chicago and this place is perfectly located next to poland spring. The employees knew the products by name and led me right to what i needed. Will definitely be back in. Loved the place. I got some rosin and some gmo flower

They put their wax in plastic bags???? The concentrates are good but my god don’t put wax IN A PLASTIC BAG. Apparently it wasn’t cooled or anything either because the wax melted right through the baggy and stuck to the outside packaging…. Please change ur packaging and I’ll change my review because that is out of control.

Although I can never remember being there, the gals and guys of this joint are AWESOME. I would try a breakfast sandwich as well. And TYLER was great, she helped me until I saw her beard. I may need therapy now, but see you all soon.

I would give it only 1 star but I guess most of the staff here are great. My personal problem was with the owner . I purchased something and it wasn't quite right. Keep in mind I have purchased this one at least a few times before. I called the owner to try to get an exchange and she refused. She lied and said there was nothing she could do. She absolutely had the authority to make an exchange. Other shops told me it was her choice. They said they would have exchanged the product for me. She didn't. Poor poor business practice. I know my review won't change anything but she is a big liar. I didn't want a refund , just an exchange.UPDATE : The response from the owner is bullcrap. She could have allowed me an exchange even though the product was open. I had purchased this flower several times before. I went out of my way to go there for this particular strain. She said there is nothing I can do...... that is not true. She could have replaced it with something else. I will say kudos to the grower. I called them and they took the product and gave me store credit. They wanted a satisfied customer. Good job on their part. I would highly recommend Landrace of Portland and Sanford ! Owner of hi-lo could have done the same. She knows this

This is seriously the best place around. When you are there it feels like a little mom and pop store. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. It is my favorite and I drive 3 hours during the winter to come here.

As always, I love this place…..but…lemme tell you about this breakfast sandwich, at the Breakfast Joint. Is there an option for 6 stars? OMFG! As a self proclaimed breakfast sando connessuer , what I tried this morning was nothing less than epic! This ain’t no gas station breakfast Sammy! Every bite was perfect. I had the special with peppers, onions, some type of delicious garlic aioli, egg, sausage and cheese on a English. The flavors were beautiful, perfectly balanced, not too salty. The fresh eggs fit the English perfectly because they cook it in an egg ring. The sausage was the BOMB! Good quality with none of those grissle bits. The peppers and onions were great as well. The only thing I didn’t like was That I only ordered one. HIGHLY recommend you stop by Thurs-Sunday , 7:30-11 I think.

Let's all be honest here... Recreational is 25% more than Medical. The service here is family oriented, educated, clean and relaxed. The inventory is always competitive. Never disappointed in any of my experiences. Never a hit or miss purchase. You go in with no expectations and come out like you're going on a holiday. Cherish good people!

So I want to start off and say I came to Hi-Lo yesterday while I was on vacation all I can say is Ma dispensaries do not compare to how amazing this place is. Greeted with such friendly faces as 1 gentleman was being serviced ahead of me a younger woman came running out to make sure I was greeted again with a smile and was quick with getting my order to me! Thank you so much to everyone at Hi- Lo The service alone makes future visits to this location very likely on long weekend.

The owner Joy amazing and the woman I worked with was super and really knowledgeable it turned out to be the Joy's daughter 🤣! I just recently moved to maine and have all of my questions answered. The atmosphere was was clean and very friendly. Highly recommended supporting this family business.

Tons of selections in all categories. I like a few of the edibles they have here and there's plenty to choose from. There are also a ton of flower and cartridge options. It's the only recreational spot I've found in the area and they make up for it. They're always friendly and they recycle old joint tubes here too - love that! Definitely a good place to stop if you're in the area.

Phenomenal experience, undeniably one of the most courteous, informative set of customer service attributes. The product is definitely the equivalent to the likes of Willie Nelson and Snoop kinda buzz. Thanks for literally showing me that the entire "medical " community is not up to par to recreational especially when it comes to knowing scientifically what your products contains. I broke up with a dispensary in lewiston today, and look forward to our new found brother/sister hood. (First time feeling real weed in 3 years, I love u man!)

This place is over an hour away from me though it is completely worth the long trip. I just tried the garlic mint not even 20 minutes ago and it is hands down the best flower I have ever tried period. The woman that was running the store today was absolutely welcoming and professional. As for the garlic mint it is the most beautiful frosted green color and is extremely sticky. The flavor is great and does have a hint of garlic that I’ve never had before but was more than welcomed.All I can say is that I will with out a doubt I will be returning!

10/10 dispensary! Not only are their prices cheaper than most recreational dispensaries, but the bud quality is great. The owners are exceptional and very knowledgeable about their products and can really steer you in the right direction when you’re not sure what you’re looking for. Made my first trip here today while visiting family in Maine and this place is by far the best!! The prices are great and the joint are all 1G. The owner helped us today and she was very professional, not to mention the selection was amazing. Anything you need from indica, 50/50 hybrids to sativas in many different forms to consume.

Great place to go i traveled 4 hours away from vermont just to go to this dispensary. They were very friendly and i was able to bring my dog inside with me so that's a plus. I was able to find something to fit my needs.and the prices are about average. But what sold me was the customer service and how i was able to bring my dog

been here more than a few times, me and my fiancé come in almost every weekend. a long weekend trip for us, unfortunately today our experience was not as good. we felt like the guy working was not happy to have us. usually we are greeted with smiles and jus overall a better vibe. But today the male employee seemed miserable, didn’t offer for us to smell the new strains we haven’t tried, didn’t give any information on the flower we were looking into... very monotone compared to what the atmosphere usually is.. unfortunately this time around it just seemed like we weren’t welcomed. STILL 5 stars overall. But if I rated the experience today it was a solid 3 due to the employee not making us feel welcomed as customers.

To find a recreational dispensary is hard enough, but when I found Hilo I was so excited I finally found a place to welcome me! They had me SOLD from the second I walked through the doors! The ladies were all so welcoming, knowledgeable and really fun to talk with! I really enjoyed it and cannot wait to go back!!!!
