I would like to thank Officer John today for helping to keep the road in front of the Elementary School safe. I almost bought it today trying to walk across the road to get to the school where I currently work. A dump truck stopped for me and waved me to cross. The car behind the truck decided to pass while I was crossing. It was very scary for me. The Massachusetts driver didn’t see that Officer John was parked right there across from the school for arrival. He took care of the situation. I am so appreciative that Officer John was there to intervene and hold that driver accountable. Maybe even give the young lady a little education about how the same rules apply in a school zone in Maine as they do in Massachusetts!
